Once in a life time experience! About the cost of a good steak dinner but so much more satisfying! The petting zoo was my favorite part the goats are very friendly! They need more trees and shade for the bears though you could tell they were all hot. Also the teenage girls who work the gift shop have 0 customer service skills. Theyre mid conversation and act like youre interrupting them to buy an item that pays their wage. Young people now have no concept of customer service voice. Other than that the animals made it well worth it. The facility deserves some upkeeping with how much money they must make time to reallocate the funds from your pockets back into the sanctuary. The animals deserve better.

Been here multiple times and I love this place. I decided to spend the money to feed the Cubs. It was expensive but well worth it. I went for my birthday so I was splurging. You got to feed and pet all 6 Cubs. Make sure you reserve online in advance, however, they allow a couple people to sign up the day of. Petting zoo is fun.

Great place to see bears up close with the family! Feeding the bears on the ride was a blast and the bear cubs are adorable to sit and watch. Only down side was ordering food, that took 30 minutes to cook a burger and chicken strips. So order well in advance. Fun place!

This place is wonderful! Such a refreshing experience compared to other places that are terrified of a flu that the media has blown out of proportion! No masks! Kudos to you.The bears were really active; well worth the money and 4 hour drive. We drove through 3 times! Make sure you wash your car windows before going through because you cannot roll them down while in the zoo, and getting pictures of dirty car windows isnt exactly exciting. The petting zoo was great, too. Our son loved petting the fawns and feeding the deer and geese. The bear cubs were adorable to watch. The food was expensive, but we didnt buy any. Feeding the bear cubs didnt look any different than bottle feeding a calf, glad we didnt do that.If you go, just get the drive through tickets and drive through more than once; it doesnt cost extra, and dont spend money on anything else (except feed in the petting zoo) and youll have a great time!

Great for kids 10 and under for the rides. If you do the white truck tour that costs extra, the right side is far better than the left. As the car drives forward, the right side is on that right side. We stood on the left and the bears were really only on the right side. The staff act like bears pick where to go, but when they are in fences how can they pick? There are better drive through parks but they did have a lot of bears.

My daughter and I had a great time at YBW. We drove in and went to the drive thru zoo and seen many animals. The the bear part, some grizzly and lots of black bear. The we went to the gift shop and to the cub play areas. This was so entertaining and the cubs ham it up. The employees are all very nice and full of information. We took the animal excursion and tossed food to the elk and bears. We also bottle fed some of the cubs. This was so much fun my daughter wanted to bring home tubbs and feed him forever. This is well worth the drive I would definitely recommend this park and will visit again.

This was such a fun experience!Definitely a kid friendly place with lots of things to do and see! The workers there were educated on what they were talking about and so friendly. The activities there were so fun. I was able to feed butterflies ($1) and 6 different bear cubs ($60). They also had a couple roller coasters for little ones, a petting zoo, and a drive through adventure. Everything excluding food, feeding the bear cubs, and gift shop stuff, was included into the price when entering the park—pretty cheap price too for what its offering.Would definitely come here again!

Its a cool little place to stop and see as you travel through. My family did the wilderness excursion where you could throw food from their truck to the animals. I think it was a little more pricey than it was worth but Im glad we did it. If youre on the right hand side of the truck youll get a much better experience. They have a cool little petting zoo with goats, deer, pigs, chickens and geese, and a butterfly enclosure where you can play with butterflies. They have a little spot where you can order food, but it wasnt as good as it could have been. Their gourmet burgers only had the patty, cheese and bun. Their wasnt any lettuce, tomatoes, pickles or sauce on them like the picture had. Overall I would recommend it but only if youre close by or traveling through.

We really liked a lot of things about this place...watching the baby bears frolic, the butterflies and drive through zoo...but the petting zoo..not a great experience. They have a little section for the fawns to rest. There is a sign the says do not enter ...the fence is not solid around it..it has a gap near the bottom where especially the standing fawns were at the perfect height to pet (its a petting zoo) so of course every person that walked up tried to pet them. A staff member stood about 15 away from them and literally yelled at every person that tried to pet them...we were on the other side of the enclosure and it was extremely off putting listening to it again and again.I completely understand they are giving fawns a safe zone to go to. But design it so that it doesnt look like their is a gap for petting. Put up a sign that explains not to disturb then instead of just not to enter..then train your staff that these are children, how about talking to people nicely? Without these customers, you probably wouldnt have a job. I get yelling at people blatantly breaking a rule but if people do not even know the rules..instead of yelling at people again and again, why not station her at the entrance and explain to each group as they walk in..pet the animals that are free roaming but please dont enter or try to pet the fawns if they are behind the fence. They are babies and resting. That would be a much more pleasant experience than listening to people getting yelled at again and again. (And no, I was not one of those people) Just my two cents. I didnt like the feeling of the petting zoo.

Pretty sad existence for the older bears. They obviously spend a good portion of their time wandering the perimeter with nothing to do in a very small enclosure. Not a natural type environment at all for them. Petting zoo was fun and I thought well managed by the staff, they were there to answer questions. They need a lot more room and to add natural landscape for the bears. Also, I’m not sure taking babies away from their moms to bottle feed for the guests seems right. Makes you wonder what they do with them once they’re done drinking bottles.

Unfortunately only about a third of the other patrons were masked and zero of the staff were masked, and though there were a couple signs encouraging social distancing I didn’t see any extra measures being taken. Because of this, my kids who are high risk didn’t get to do anything besides the drive through the animals. Which was of course devastating to them. We’ve been able to do a lot of activities safely with them during Covid because so many businesses and attractions near our home are being so conscientious, so it was a major disappointment that a place with so many visitors coming from all over every day wasn’t making much of an effort. It’s way too expensive if you only feel safe doing the things you can do in your own car.
