What a wonderful place to experience some aviation history! Dont let this seemingly small museum fool you. There is LOTS packed inside to learn from. From static aircraft on display to other goodies, there is a lot that can be learned here. The staff is all wonderful and eager to provide their knowledge and experience. Their aircraft are kept in working order. They also hold a FREE airshow around Fathers Day each year. This past year (2018) was my first year being able to attend. The photos in my review are from that day. They even had pyrotechnics for pretend bombing runs. Stop on in and learn about aviation history!

We took our toddler who’s obsessed with airplanes here, and it was great! I love that we have a place like this is Rexburg. The employees were so kind and helpful in explaining the history behind all the planes and other memorabilia they have and they were so patient with our son. We plan on going back next year!

It’s a nice museum with several operational aircraft on display, mostly American military aircraft from the WW2 era. Joe was our guide and he was friendly and answered lots of questions. The tour took about 1.5 hours, but probably could go more quickly if you don’t ask as many questions. There is also an exhibit on infantry gear from throughout US history. If you are into planes, it’s a fun place to go.

My husband went into this. He was the only one in the museum, said it was a nice small museum. Wished there was a few more planes. Yet for a private museum was interesting. Can see it all in under an hour.

Ok so heres the deal.I was at the 4th of July parade and saw a P51 mustang fly over. I said out loud Id really like to see that up close.A gentleman standing next to me said you know you can. Theres a flight museum just out by the airport.I dont know what I was expecting, but WOW.They have a great display of flying aircraft, models, posters jet and piston engines. Not to mention the most knowledgeable staff you could ask for.Upstairs is a military uniform, weapon and equipment display that is very impressive. My 12 year old son was so occupied with everything 2 hours passed like minutes. We looked at everything and had a great time. For a private museum this is worth checking out. If just to see and touch a piece of history.

This museum is a hangar jam-packed with working historical planes. While the signage is somewhat lacking, there are very knowledgeable volunteers who can fill you in. Renarkable museum for enthusiasts, airport bums, and those long-suffering spouses who have to put up with them. All of these iconic aircraft are immaculate and restored to their original, factory new condition. What is especially unusual is that every airplane flys regularly (with the exception of the Blue Angel F4). If you are a wing nut, you gotta check this out.

The amazing thing is almost all the planes in the museum fly. They regularly take them out and fly them. The museum is so well kept and is definitely worth a visit. We have a piano sale there and they rent the facility for weddings its an awesome setting. If you have the time you should definitely go check it out!

The Legacy Flight Museum is the best kept secret of the State of Idaho. It was fun to learn all of the fun facts associated with the SR-71 Black Bird and one of the Arizona grown pilots that got to fly it. This is a perfect place to bring the family to learn a little aviation history, and enjoy the historical airplanes up-close and personal.

Every aircraft operational except Blue Angels jet. Tons of memorabilia. Local heroes. Part of an SR-71 that you can touch. More than I can list.Admission is what you think is fair, or what you can pay. When I was there on the day of the total solar eclipse, one different plane after another taxied out, flew around in view of the visitor hangar, buzzed the museum, and came back for a landing.Memorable visit, as memorable as the eclipse.

Really incredible place for seeing historic airplanes! The cool part is all the planes (minus one) all fly still! The P-51 Mustang (World War 2 fighter plane) was my favorite part. They also do airshows which are sometimes free! The museum is run by volunteers who really know their facts. Cheap price and discounts for military and students.

Why a person is writing bad reviews confuses me. Every single airplane there flies. The price is $6. Not that high. Every single plane there has a story. For example, The p-63 king cobra is the last one that is still flying. They fly those planes at least once a month each. I highly reccomend this place to visit.
