This park is so family friendly! Its always a nice atmosphere. I enjoy going on walks here. It has some great historical things unique to Rexburg, which are cool to check out. I also got engaged here, so itll always have a special place in my heart.

Nice park with lots of open space. Also, not bothered too much by college students.

It kept in perfectly beautiful condition, as well as shaded by several trees. And Sally always seems to find children at play who love to throw her ball for her to fetch.

Lovely park. There are two tennis courts, two baseball diamonds, two pavilions and several trees to use for setting up hammocks. Search for Smith Park on Google and you can find a place to make reservations, as the park can be quite busy when the weather is nice.

Beautiful well maintained park. Has lovely sidewalk around the perimeter of the park to stroll around. Has basket ball, baseball, monuments, tables and much more.

This is a great Park! Well-maintained, lots of room to play, relax, hammock, have a large get-together, or take the kids to play. My kids love to ride their bikes on the path around the park and play on the playground.

Smith park is my favorite park in Rexburg! Its just as big as Porter park, but not many people go there so theres more space to do things. It has 2 baseball fields, a playground, a tennis court, and a lot of grass. Dont stay too late though, the sprinklers are vicious.

Huge open space to play, a baseball diamond, lots of trees to relax under, a path that loops, a playground, bathrooms, pavilion, grills, shelters... everything you could want in a park.

Neat and welcoming. The random people here are very friendly. One of the safest parks Ive ever been to.

Beautiful park with a lot of great tributes to the area. The only reason this is a four star review is because the veterans memorial has been poorly maintained. Other than that it is a great park and a beautiful place.

Some of the best playsets there are, but its open spaces arent very large, and its a fairly small park.Overall, its pretty great.

For sledding, this is a great place! Our kids loved it as it has areas where little ones (ages around 2 or so) can sled as well as older kids too.

I enjoy going for runs around this park. Also a nice place to go and relax in the summer.

Smith Park is a great place to go and relax, hang out with friends, play on the jungle gym, have a picnic or a family gathering, play tennis, walk around, and much more! There are some fun things to do and see there! I especially love the big gazebo and the old fashioned tractor type thing. There are places to play baseball and big grassy areas to do other sports, but there are also lots of trees giving nice shade In the heat of the day!

Great little park, always clean and well kept. Lots of open space for kids to roam and play. Playground is pretty basic but okay. Not as well maintain as the grounds, my child cut their knee on an exposed piece of metal on the steps thats why I cant give it 5 stars.

I love Smith park. It is where I proposed to my wife. They keep it up really well and there is plenty of space for many people.

This is a very large park perfect for large gatherings, ward or stake activities, it has two baseball fields, bathrooms, and a few playgrounds and tennis courts! Super well kept, trash free and large trash cans are available. Good parking on the street, plenty of space. Kind of tucked away back from the main roads so its fairly quiet too! Over all a great park!

This is a pretty good park that is usually less crowded than Porter Park. With two pavilions, its a good place to have a group gathering. If you dont reserve a pavilion on a summer Saturday and hope to get one... Youre probably not going to get one. Reservations cost $40 on the City of Rexburg site. Benefit of this park is there are fewer college students.

Its a park. Parking is a little scarce, some of the water fountains dont work... Not that I would advise anyone to drink out of public faucets. Its a beautiful park. The playground is nice for kids, there are two baseball diamonds and plenty of room for parents to set their children loose to expend all the pent up energy.

Well kept, nice park. I rented from the city the gazebo for my sisters wedding and it was quiet and not very busy and also clean and had restrooms and garbages near by so it was perfect.

Its okay. They had the basketball hoops down for covid, which was frustrating. Its outside and its a park. Lots of college kids (usually in hammocks) too during that time of year.

Smith Park is absolutely gorgeous! Very well kept with play areas for kids (or couples on the swings) and a baseball diamond, Smith Park is the perfect place to relax, play games, or even do reunions at! Smith Parks trees are huge and the shade is huge temperature difference for those hot lazy summer days. Definitely reccommend Smith Park to anyone looking for a relaxing place to read, play, chat, or enjoy some food at!

Great place for a Turkey Bowl. See you next year at 8am.

Great quite park in Rexburg

Between toys to freeplay on and courts and fields for organised team sports, this park as it all. The tennis court is on great shape and the restrooms were clean and fully stocked. Many trees provide welcome shade on a warm day without impinging on the open spaces.

This is a great park, it has a lot of open space, public restrooms, and sports facilities. (Tennis courts, basketball hoops and baseball diamonds.) In the winter theres a great hill for kids to go sledding on. The only drawback is that it is a very popular park, especially with the college students, so occasionally it can be pretty busy.

Well taken care of, lots of space, playground and sports courts.

Great place to take my grandsons. Have some fun and release some energy.

Great family park. Lots of shade and a few picnic tables around the playground. Also has fenced in tennis courts and kickball fields. They are bathrooms and pavilions with grill stands. Also a great paved trail around the whole park, includes going up the hill.A small veterans memorial is on the far side of the park that is great to visit and introduce the children to.During the summer there is a free lunch program that comes Monday-Friday from 11:30-1 for children 1-18 and sometimes a book bus for free books for kids.

Smith Park is a great park for all ages. Theres plenty of shade and places to sit. There are strategically placed picnic tables under shady trees. Playground equipment for younger ones and older ones. The parking can sometimes be a pain if there are a lot of people there, but usually it is convenient and curbside. There are bathrooms located there as well which have been super convenient for us many times.

It’s one of the most beautiful spots in Rexburg right by the school campus. Although nothing can beat the Ricks Gardens in aesthetic appeal, this place makes up for it in its fun appeal.There’s plenty of open green space to run, lay, or sit around in. There are a couple spots with plenty of tall trees to sit or hammock under.The play-sets are a bit small, but each time I’ve been there there’s always been a couple extra swings to sit on.With all the green grass the area is nice to look at as you walk around.

We love this park! It is meant for kids older than 3 I would say, but we still come here and our kids love it. Also the big fields are great for those looking to play sports.

A beautiful quiet park equipped with two baseball fields, a play structure, swings (standard and baby) picnic tables, shade, pavilions, a gazebo, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a track that surrounds the whole thing. There are restrooms but I do not believe any of the drinking fountains work. Other than that, this park is well maintained.

Smith park has healthy mature trees for shade. It contains two baseball diamonds for little league baseball. It contains nice, well maintained playground equipment for small children. It also contains several picnic tables and pavilions with more picnic tables. The grass is clean and well maintained.

Great place to take a walk. My wife and I love it because its hardly busy and its pretty big for Rexburg. It gets really busy in the summer time with baseball games but that makes it fun to see when walking around.

Good place to go to relax during the spring and fall.
