I love the calming solitude there. Love the fishing as well as the walking trails. Its also got a picture perfect park and picnic area. Extremely well kept and safe.
Great little spot to stay. We’re heading to Yellowstone and if you don’t mind to take a little detour away from the highway this is a great spot. Fire rings available but currently (9/18/20) they have a ban on fires. Easy to park my 27’ travel trailer. Spots are pretty closely each other, but not bad at all. I’ll be back if needed to stay again.
$10 now and $40 for 5 nights. Clean park, no hookups. Trash, picnic table and fire ring at every site. Kids playing volleyball and only 2 others camping. Nice clean park with playground and river access.
This is a nice little oasis when heading west across the desert. A great spot for a picnic with plenty of shade. There is a shelter, picnic tables, restrooms, river access and several campsites. As a bonus, theres a fun 9 hole disc golf course. The layout uses the trees to step up the difficulty!
This is a wonderful place to stay or just enjoy the day fishing hickin camping lol love the name
A good place to camp and fish. Come before noon for the best fishing
Never caught a fish or seen anyone else do it, but its a nice little park I guess.
Super clean and anyone that goes there is really friendly! Fun place for friends or family to hangout at
Paid the $40 for 5 nights and it was well worth it. 5mi from Rexburg toilets are in site, shelters to go into if it rains and the coyotes howling at night was perfect. We were sad to go but we enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful place great to fish or have a day camp trip planned.
Fun 9 hole course. A few of the pars were changed to a par 2. Gimmicky. I played them all as par 3.
Really beautiful place to go out and walk around at.
Great place for a campfire and possible overnighter.
Great place for first time campers. Very close to Rexburg for forgotten supplies. Grounds and bathrooms are very well maintained.
Nice place to camp or to play in the water with a canoe or kayak.
Great park!! Sand volleyball, disc golf, swimming and floating in the river!! Green grass and beautiful grounds!!
So after searching for free campgrounds in and around Idaho Falls we kind of just stumbled upon this one and even though its a $10 camping fee per night it was a really really good experience very clean the campsites are well taken care of and well-maintained theres a huge fire pit theres playgrounds theres trails you can go gather wood they have primitive restrooms but nevertheless they are restrooms clean well taken care of and the whole park itself including the boat ramp area is really well maintained we were just really amazed and it was a great place to campand waking up to howling coyotes and the sun coming up with birds chirping it was just such a peaceful peaceful place we will probably be going back there in the near future because it was such an awesome experience so thats why Im rating Beaver Dick park with 5 stars
Fun little park/campground
A nice park by the Henrys Fork River. There are camping and picnic areas, and also a boat ramp.
We love visiting Beaver Dick Park. There are always picnic tables available and plenty of green space for the kids to run around. There is river access and a dock where you can fish. There are a lot of camping spots, but the favorite ones fill up fast. We like to just pay the day fee and set up at a favorite spot with a fire ring and spend the day. There are a couple of playgrounds. Also there are toilets. They are always clean and dont smell. Early in the spring, some of the sites really close to the river will get flooded, but most of the sites are high enough to avoid that. Such a pretty park and campground!
Great little park. Very peaceful.
Great quite park with Disk golf, fishing and camping!
Great little park on the Henrys fork.
Its a pretty nice place. I dont get the chance to go there much but when I do, I enjoy the visit. I go there mostly for fishing but like any place else, how good the fishing is depends on -the time of day, the weather, etc... -those who DO fish know what I mean.
A beautiful park no water so bring your own. Fairly close to a shooting range so you will here that. Very clean playgrounds for kids
Amazing campground with lots of space and cool trails. Beaver Dick is far enough out of town that its enjoyable ter close enough youve got cell service just in case. Quiet and beautiful area!
Clean quiet park.
A great place to have a gathering. The river is gorgeous.
Fun picnic and smores.
I couldnt camp there as the only open site was the one by the boat ramp with the handicapped parking place.I arrived late, about 10pm. I guess I could have camped there and parked on the other side of the boat ramp but then I would ha e had to carry everything over there. It didnt have any other signage indicating handicapped only.I just left there and went a few miles over to Warm Slough where the camping was quite honestly really nice and FREE.But this park is also very nice and Id surely stay there if I could bcs Warm Slough seems to have a tendency to harbparty goes and drunks tearing around at night. However, I did ha e a moose and her.calf walk next to the tent in the morning, something that probably wouldnt happen at Beaver Dick.
Overall a very lovely place to camp and have some fun. Unfortunately theres a little bit of trash sprung out here and there, so if you do visit please pick up your trash and any other persons litter along the way :)
Great location due to its distance from the city, meaning there isnt a lot of people, but dont go on Mondays because thats when everyone is there. They recently installed a disc golf course and its super nice, but a super easy course. They have bbq areas and pavilions that are all free and the camping is pretty cheap. They have an open range shooting place close by as well.
Great place. The only thing that would make it better is water.
Nice place to get away and enjoy the outdoors.
The park is a great place but the smell off the bathrooms are very strong. Im giving it 4 stars mostly because we have found a big amount of dog poop.
Open. Nice camping. Pretty river. Bridge jumping
Drug city, they cleaned it up Madison county you rock police presence always around day n night very clean green great park staff tried it after a yr ago had to change review
Nice clean park
The place was nice;. Peaceful.,? Had picnic.!
Went in mid july waa perfect! No bugs and cheap
Super fun place to hang out and camp
Great park out of the way of busy Rexburg. The view of the river is nice and theres a great spot for a bondfire.
This is a great park. Only $5.00 a night. Clean and well maintained. We only spent one night passing through but glad we came off the highway to check it out.
Nice. Clean by the river. Decent place
Was a great little campground. Quiet and clean. Is very well kept! Big grassy area and a playground for the kids. Having a river close by was wonderful. Will come here again.
Very nice clean restrooms well stocked.
Camped here for two nights. It was anything but quiet. Neighbors on one side were blasting their music on the radio while the neighbors on the other side sang karaoke late into the night. People were constantly driving by in their cars and the karaoke party decided it was fine to leave one of their vehicle’s headlights on and shining directly at our tent for quite a while. You can hear the shooting of guns during the day and early morning (Pretty sure there’s some shooting/hunting area nearby). There were a couple people letting their dogs run around off their leashes (they either didn’t read the rules, or don’t care about breaking the rules about keeping pets on leashes). This place is definitely not the ideal place to camp if you are looking for a quiet secluded place to be away from people and actually get some sleep at some point.
Awesome place! Enough room for people to shoot, and for people to enjoy scenery, especially during this snowy winter!
I mean... its a pretty simple park. The riverside place is nice tho
Nice clean close to snake river cheap camping
Great park and campground with boat access to Henrys Fork river. Lots of river-view sites and fishing spots!
Great place to camp that isnt too far away from town
Very well maintained camp ground . Its a great place for all types of functions, very family friendly . I really enjoyed my stay and the Madison County Staff that maintians the campground are really wonderful people . I really recommend Twin Bridges and Beaver Dick Campgrounds if in the Madison County area and desire a affordable safe clean place .
So this is our go to spot! For a quick last minute getaway. Water was rather nice, it was clear till we kicked up dirt. There are a couple play parks for the young ones, a sand volleyball pit, As well as pavilions for larger family gatherings!
Really nice facility by the river. No running water and lots of mosquitoes. We had a group of 15 and there were plenty of spots for tents and hammocks.
It was a little flooded and swampy smelling, but what a beautiful place. I love the area. It was drying up when we got there.
Great little camping spot for the family right next to the Snake river!
Great, clean, well maintained campground and day use area!
I love camping and usually prefer not to go to park and camp spots but Beaver Dick is a really nice camp ground. Great bathrooms as far as campgrounds like this go and lots of fire pits either in your campsite or in communal areas. You can reserve spots including the communal picnic bench areas.
Looks like a nice place to visit
Really great area. Very cleaned and maintained. Has fishing area, playground, several picnic tables and trails. My only dislike is there are tons of shrubs with thorns along all the banks of water except by the boat ramp area. Thats great to keep kids at bay for safety reasons, but fishermen its horrible, because you cant get access. You are limited to fishing by boat ramp or on other side of highway bridge.
Very beautiful! Great camping! Not too busy. We will most definitely be back.
This is a great camping spot. Its $5.00 per night or $15.00 for 5 nights. They have trash and toilets. Bathrooms are clean. I highly recommend this place to camp. My husband and I stayed here from Tuesday, Aug. 7th - Friday, Aug. 10th. You can stay a total of 10 nights.
This place is really fun!! A very slow moving river thats not really that cold and pretty shallow in most parts. Lots of campsites, BATHROOMS, Pretty decent fishing, and even playgrounds. I saw a porcupine there once. It was cool. His name was Francis. He told funny jokes. Then the cops showed up and apparently its illegal to drop acid while at the park. Anyways, thats besides the point. The park is free, so please be respectful and leave it cleaner than you found it.
Great place for camping and just being outdoors. It is a good place to take out kayaks or rafts. There are great views and plenty of grass to play games
Its an OK place to eat lunch, play games, camp etc. Cartier Slough just to the south is a good hike.
$5 a day or $20 a week. Nice campsites. Fire pits. Nice place.
Great place just a little outside of Rexburg. Far enough from town that you can enjoy the country without traveling far. Complete with campsites, fire pits, restrooms, grass fields, and kids play areas. Perfect for an evening to get away from the city or have a close campout. Located on the bank of the Snake River with docks, perfect for fishing or floating.
Good place to go fishing and enjoy wildlife
Caught my first fish here. Super fair pricing and trash services are great
It is a nice place that makes you feel like you are in the forest even though you are just outside of town.
Its got the river, loads of picnic benches, overhangs for partys and a small playground. Overall a decent place to spend a few hours on a nice day.
Fun, clean small park not too far from Rexburg yet it feels like you are away
Clean picnic areas. Plenty of parking. The river is slow moving here to nice for playing in the water.
Great place to spend a sunny afternoon!
I dont live in Rexburg or even Idaho, Im actually from New York City, but I just had to give this place five stars because of its name.
Small park. Good place to take pictures.
Great local park, good place for family gatherings
Fun place. Needs more fire pits please.
Clean restrooms. Great fire pits and new picnic tables.
Lovely campground. Remember to bring a $5 bill, drinking water, and hand sanitizer for the drop toilets.
This place was fantastic for my 4 year old and I
A great getaway from the town
Part of it was under water. Other than that a nice park.
Such a pretty place to camp and it’s so close to Rexburg.
Nice and simple place to go camping that isnt too far away from Rexburg.
Great place to go for a barbecue or get together!
Fun place.
We watched the 2017 total solar eclipse here. What a great name!
Great little park. Nice little camping spots, right on the river, pretty walking trails, and close to town.
Beautiful, but not the most clean.
Great place. Close to Rexburg. Nice place to camp
