Wonderful park. It has the view of the whole view of the southern part of Palos Verdes. It has plenty of grass and recreational space to picnic or play some frisbee. The only downside I see here is that the parking inside the park are reserved for Palos Verdes neighbors. You have to do a quick walk from the street parking to get into the park.Other than that, phenomenal place to chill

If you want to enjoy the peaceful quiet of a beautiful sunset, you have to come to this park. Just one of the best things about Palos Verdes

I had never been to this park but its beautiful! Very small but you can see the sunset over palos verdes. There is 1 picnic table but plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view. Park parking is for residents only so I recommend to park down the street and walk.

Quite, wonderful, small park. The views of the 100s of acreas of the Rollings Hills located Porturgese Reserve that lay before you stretching out to the Pacific Ocean is worth every minute you have to just take it all in. Its definitely a dont rush it view. Added incentives: (1) Entrance to the Reserve is adjacent & (2) Watching the crows flying in the canyon, doing somersaults seeming to entertain themselves and you, is an added attraction.Only drawback: Parking limited for non-residents of Rolling Hills. Must park on main road. Just a guess: maybe 25 cars (max.)

Most beautiful early morning experience! Had to step over a beautiful Western diamondback rattlesnake. Good thing it was early and the weather cool. Those cold blooded creatures are slow in cold weather. But can be dangerous after the sun comes up. Watch your step! Third one I’ve seen up there.

Fantastic park with birds eye view of the Palos Verdes coast. You can see the sun rise and set from this park. The trails located right next to the park are awesome hikes on a warm day and a must do. Parking can be tricky in the mornings after 8 am and the evenings after 2-3 pm.

Killer view. Beautiful park for a picnic. Street parking only but plenty of it. Heads up: no bikes, skateboards, rocket launching, parachuting, open flames, etc. You know, the usual. Also, social distancing and masks required. You wont regret the drive up the hills!

This park provides great view to flower sea and sea. You can. Also see Catalina Island across the sea. The view is really broad. You can enjoy 180 degree view of flower sea. Everyone should stop by here even if you don’t hike down Portuguese bend reserve

Great park with amazing views and plenty of space to chill while avoiding others (during Covid) and have a picnic or something similar. Plenty of trees to catch some shade too. Only reason I docked a star is because parking was not at the park unless you have a permit, otherwise you have to hope you find something on the street (I walked a quarter of a mile with my hands full to get to the park).

I was walking with my daughter and boys behind me when I heard a rattle and jumped out of the way. I led kids safely around an adult R.S who was rather large. Fun hike just thread with alertness. My advice, take some pepper spray

Beautiful place to trek. But if youre not in a mood to walk, just take a stroll in the park and you have a beautiful ocean view. I went down the rattle snake trail and continued on to Ishibashi trail back up to the top. It took around an hour. It is lush and green after the rains and looks so awesome.

Absolutely stunning views of the ocean and lush rolling hills. I visited in late February 2017. The rainfalls from early 2017 revitalized the foliage brought by the drought. Parking is limited (perhaps 5-8 spots). Its only an hour drive from LA, so visit if you have a chance!

Parking in the lot itself has always been small (8 cars total) and now is limited to “residents” worn parking permits. However, there is plenty of parking on the street for about 60 cars. Only a block to 3 block walk to the park from the street.Great views of Top of PV to ocean. Yellow Wildflowers are blooming right now (March 2020). Wide open grass areas. Picnic tables x 3. Hiking area for many miles down to ocean is just beyond the formal entrance to the park.

I love these hiking trails so much! Its very important to take pictures of the trail marker/map in case you get a little turned around. And watch out for rattlesnakes, of course. The fact that you can go in the trails and hardly ever be bored or have to take the same trail twice makes it so unique.
