Great place for hiking. nice trail. starts out easy for a good warm up with growing intensity towards the top. Boulder navigating and great views make this a very versatile trail.

Excellent area for a beautiful hike. The ocean is always in view, with a large network of trails. In 2 hours we got in 5 miles and just less than 1000 elevation gain/loss. Perfect morning!

Might have to circle around a few times for parking, remember sunblock, bug spray, water and snacks. Easy going down harder going back up.

Beware of snakes if you choose to take the path less traveled

Great hiking trails and apparently beautiful views. Although the day we went was incredibly overcast. It was still very pretty and the coastal fog definitely kept us cool on our hike. The trails are well marked, there are paper maps provided at the entrance if needed, and street parking wasnt terrible.

Palos verde never disappoints with great hiking places. This is another one of them, just e careful where you park, do not do it in residential areas.

Great place to hike or take a walk. Trails are intermediate to difficult. Dogs are allowed on leashes. Remember to bring a bottle of water. Its a 4 mile walk that can get difficult at times.

So green and lush right now. We went down on the rattlesnake trail to start and went around the hill that the park sits on. Then went up the way that most everyone comes down into the area. Nice little hike. Make sure to bring water and maybe a small snack. Great views of the ocean.

It was a beautiful trail, esp in the springtime with all the wildflowers against the hillside and the ocean on the other side. Beginners trail for sure, but you get a moderate sweat in for going uphill.

Beware, parking enforcement here is insane. The residents complained and the city changed half the parking to by permit only. Theres been a 2,000% increase in parking tickets. So find a new hiking spot as the city doesnt want us around.
