Very beautiful colors in the fall, pretty good decent size park for a day picnic with camping on the other side of the parking, picnic tables and 1 huge gazeebo can fit several family size party. Provo river right next to it, lots of matured trees with shade. View of mountains all around the park, perfect for a day trip.

This is a decent place to go on a walk through. Its gets extremely packed though, so just beware of that. The water fall is amazing as well. You can also do a small hike up the water fall which is nice. Be careful as it is very slippery once your on top of the falls!

We really appreciated the clean, stocked porta-potty situation, and how many were available. This is a great short hike with kids as young as 4 (and grandma, too!) with plenty of space to socially distance but still get your feet in the cold mountain water of the falls. Only thing missing from this space is more immediate places to have a picnic - though happily just east down the road is a huge picnic area with its own bathrooms and small river (Canyon Glen picnic area I believe).

Lots of trees so you can always find a spot somewhere to put some chairs and be out of the hot sun. Playground is ok but in the sun most of the day - trees dont shade it great. Good amount of parking as well but still can fill up at times.

Best things about Nunns:1. Right by the Provo River2. Right by the Provo River Trail3. Lots of tables with grillsIt is pretty similar to the other parks which are a few minutes up Provo Canyon. It seems like there is always parking and space for your group to hang out.

Its a great place to go. Shady, clean, easy to get to, and pretty. Its nice having the river right there, but that also makes it more dangerous with kids. Nice to have the waterfall near by. The bathrooms are clean, but they dont flush. Its a big hole and I prefer flushing toilets. When you sit on the toilet cold air comes up, which is kinda gross.

Nunns Park is a little known park on the way to Bridal Veil Falls up Provo Canyon. Not quite far enough up the canyon to get out of the heat but far enough to get out of the valley congestion and into some great forest trees and right next to Provo river.Take the Bridal Veil Falls trail exit and turn left to Nunns Park entrance. Its full but not too full.Lots of trees, BBQ stands and picnic tables with lush green lawns everywhere.Very enjoyable.Have fun.

Love going up the canyon. And it’s a great bike ride. Nunns park is right at the base to the trail to bridal vail falls. There is a great park in the center for kids. Open table and barbecue pits. There is also a small campground with hookups. Provo river runs through the edge. It’s always really clean and beautiful whenever we go.

Absolutely beautiful. The hike is very dangerous! It is not for children. Also, take the long way up. We took a short cut path to go to the top and it was incredibly dangerous. It was straight up and down and had rock slides. I highly recommend making the climb though. It is very shot and well worth it.

Nunns Park is a nice campground. It has good shade. However, since it is next to the main road running up Provo Canyon, it gets quite noisy. It has no electric, water, or sewer hookups either. The biggest drawback is that it is first come, first serve. Other than that, it is quite nice. It is also on the Provo River Trail, so bring a bike.

Really nice park just down the road from Bridal Veil Falls. There are nice group reservation areas here that are well shaded as well as other picnic areas. The river runs right next to the park. There is also a nice camping area with a bathroom with flush toilets. The only downside is the road noise from the highway nearby, just something to be aware of when choosing your campsite.

The beauty of nature. Not the most breathtaking scenery there is but its worth going to. Now if you overstay your welcome, sort to speak, youll be charged for it. We stayed past the cutoff time of 1:00 PM to go hiking and came back to see a lady waiting for us. The fact that we had to pay an extra $20 bucks didnt bother me. Its the fact that she seemed really annoyed for us staying an extra THREE hours.. on a regular Sunday afternoon.

I took my young sons up for a bike ride. Passing under the viaduct is unsafe. Patrons of the park use the shoulder of the road under the bridge for parking. It would be helpful if it was made into a no parking zone. Then families or individuals on foot or bike could travel safely on the shoulder between bridal Vale and Nunns.

The park area is beautiful and the Falls are magnificent but the RV parking should be described as tent only. Not enough space for anything bigger than a van.

When Bridal Veil Falls is too packed, just cross under the bridge to Nunns Park. Ill admit, you dont get the beautiful view of the falls from this park, but youre right next to the river. If youre close enough to the river, the sound of the water drowns out the cars driving by on the road. I came to this park last week when I wanted to get away from the apartment for a while.

Wish we could get our money back. We followed all of their park rules the host gave us, but the large group next to us violated parking rules (with way too many cars), number of people per campsite, quiet time at 10 PM (with loud music, singing and loud voices), fireworks for their kids, and they even carried around burning sticks that they lit on fire like torches. When we talked to the host about the problem, they said they would take care of it. Nothing was done other than making them move some of their cars. The obnoxious behavior and noise continued until 12:30 AM. (2 1/2 hours after quiet time started....not to mention the enormous about of smoke that came billowing our way during that time.) It seemed like all the hosts cared about or were willing to do anything about was the number of cars. We were even told to move OUR car, when it wasnt even ours. It belonged to the large group that kept parking their cars by us. Nunns Park isnt a place I would recommend or even try a second time. Not worth the money we paid to have hosts that dont care about the experience of the patrons.
