Cute little area to visit. Fishing pier, small beach but water is darker, swimming pool, park, trails, boat ramp, picnic areas, etc. lots of stuff to check out for the entire family! ️

Nice park! Great to bring your dog too. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the beach.

I love the people I love the store the people are very professional and knowledgeable they are always courteous always varied I only have one problem with this store and Im sure you already know what Im going to address. I believe someone needs to review the standard operating procedures and see what they are and they need to try to expedite Their processes far as people in-and-out it takes too long sometimes it is unacceptable and I dont mean that in a negative way hopefully you can take this and use it as constructive criticism because thats all I mean it for other than that the staff is great they cant help that theyre so popular that theres places flowing with people.. I think theyre understaffed and overtask just like the military

There isnt a more beautiful place to be for the sunsets are port charlotte beach. Breath taking

I give this spot two thumbs up. Definitely worth a return visit. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.

As sun is setting there is alot of fish swimming and jumping around in the water.Very low waters where kids can walk and swim out pretty far with issues.Beautiful sunset!!! (As you can see).The water is brackish water but still warm and nice.My kids enjoyed swimming and playing in the sand and watching the sunset!

The facilities are clean well maintained and beautiful. The wheelchair lift is amazing and allowed my father to have a awesome day. Thank you to Catlyn, Mr Bill and the nice lady (with the pink hair)for your hospitality and professionalism which made this experience possible. Thank you Charlotte County for the handicap accessabilities. Keep up the great work.

This is a complete park. Restrooms, pavilions, picnic tables, sports courts, & I didnt get to see everything. The pier is great, full panoramic view of the harbor.

Great boat ramp and beach. Covered pavilions by the beach with grills and tables. Great picnic in the shade with Gulf breezes. Great parking, restrooms and no fees. Fishing from beach or a swim.

Great Place to spend a couple hours or the day playing sports, water activities, and fishing. Relax on the sandy beach, BBQ out by the water have a party and be taken by those awesome western sunsets.PS. (Dont forget to bring your camera)

1 Star for Beach quality, would of been 4 stars if it was actually like a beach. there is a great park, a pool, all fun, yet the beach was so bad... I can honestly say we will not go swimming in this beach water ever again, unless the county revamps this once great beach.

Peaceful and quiet. Hubby & I had a few errands to run then picked up lunch and had it down there. There were a handful of ppl there. It was nice! Caught an hr of sun and left. It was nice

Its not as beautiful a beach as you might expect in Florida but its very peaceful and great facilities. A great spot to watch boats in the distance and watch pelicans and other birds. A cute little location.

A great park and beach. Boat ramp is in great shape. The pool and beach looks like they are maintained with great care. The pools not expensive 3.00 for adults 2.00 for kids And the pool overlooks they water.

I find the park most relaxing. Water in the estuary is tannin colored from the vegetation. Nice for a kayak or canoe, SUP, etc

Location, parking ok, nice beach.Better to kayak launch off the beach, than the official kayak launch. Good area to kayak.

Clean, quiet, and gorgeous. Has walking, running.and biking trails.

Great parking and plenty of social distancing. The bathroom was clean but the toilet wobbles and makes a loud sound as you sit. There are cigarette butts allover the picnic area. But the views were pretty. Great boat dock.

We had a great family day at this beach, the water was a bit murkey.. but the waves were nice and calm. Perfect for toddlers and young ones to enjoy the water.

Great place to launch a boat, rent a kayak, or play in the bay. Long dock to fish off of, covered picnic area. Small sandy beaches, water seemed to be very shallow. Small heated pool available for a small fee.

Always a fun and shaded area for birthdays, babyshowers and more.

Great place to fish!

We love it here. I come here with my family and spend time quite often. 75cent per hour on weekends they have a boat launch, beach, tennis court, basketball court, picnic tables, grilling stations, community pool and so much more.

Not a huge beach great for bringing a beach chair and relaxing reading a book or something. The pool on the beach is closed right now. Great for picnics cook outs they have grills there for your convenience

Beautiful beach with pier. Water is warmer than the gulf and is a mix of fresh water and sea water.Lots of parking, full washroom facilities as well as a boat launch, canoe/kayak rentals, Picnic area, playground, and a pool.Not too busy so lots of room to relax and enjoy the view.

Really nice small and quiet. Very clean lot of room for social distancing

Has a fairly large community pool for those powwow that do not want to swim in the brackish canal/River water. Has public reasons that are decent. Park area is nice for the kids. They also have shuffle board. You can reserve your space through Charlotte County parks and recs for the Pavillion picnic area for get togethers and partys. Sometimes there can be questionable people hanging out here.

Love this place! So much we can do. From fishing, swimming, boating and public pool! The event center is rockin also!

It was nice and sand was clean. Great place to walk around and relax. Theres a gazebo there for get togethers.

Great place for me to go train dogs at. I am a service dog trainer and the only thing I noticed is that sometimes people leave really disgusting/dangerous things on the pier. Small beach area, nice boat launch and tennis court.

Park very nice scenery gorgeous. Restrooms where clean and well-stocked. Dock and elevated walk area are of recycled material and in great shape. Picnic benches were located very well for access to trash receptacles and parking. Truly enjoyed the park and my visit.

I was pleasantly surprised at the nice atmosphere and amenities here. We visited at sunset for dinner and it was beautiful. We plan on coming back and renting kayaks soon.

Good for fishing, maybe not so great for swimming or laying in the sand.

Free parking as of right now, sand is real rocky, good for paddleboarding or canoeing but not the greatest to swim at.

Quiet beach with not so many people at it. Not the biggest and not the best by any stretch, but if you want quiet its the place to go.

This is still under construction but promises to be a great place for a relaxing day. There is even a pool there. The future plans include a dining spot and a small store with dry goods. There is already a boat launch and picnic area with a tiny beach. Check it out for free things to do in Port Charlotte.

Beach is small, the sand is clean and white. Probably it is not the best place for swimming,but it is lovely place where you can relax and forget all troubles. There are more than 200 parking spaces. It is enough for this park. What is not good:we didn’t find place to change the clothing,there are two small restrooms only. We had bad experience with parking kiosks-one of them didn’t take credit card and failed to return change from cash payment.Second kiosk excepts credit card, but two times did not finish transaction and didn’t print receipt.Any way I think the park has good future and it was pleasant to spend 2 hours here.

Park and water and pool is beautiful.

Nice uncrowded beach. Great facilities. Boat launch ramp. Even free life jackets you may borrow for the kids. They are adding sand to compensate for the erosion from last years storms. They are doing a great job. Community pool and a building for community events like our annual Christmas party and voting station.There are plenty of picnic tables.We like to go there to enjoy sunsets.

Port Charlotte Beach is the perfect local beach for when you dont have time to drive 35 minutes to the actual beach!

Havent Been in a while, they have been Up Dating/Up Grading the place when I arrived towing my boat, I was Pleased with the Modifications the county has made. Easy in / out on Ramp, Easy parking and Navigating through the construction. Cant wait to see it Finished !

Beach is kind of slimy. Not really sandy, but you know that going in. Water is warm and shallow. Still fun, just nothing that knocks your socks off. Games in the pavilion area.

This park was nice. It had a little playground and a pier to walk out on. Lots of people fishing. There is a small beach that looks like it will be soon pay to use. The water is receding, so not much of a beach to swim at, mostly mud. The bathrooms were fairly clean too.

Small but clean and somewhat scenic. There are kayaks for rent.

Favorite county pool. Supper clean! The staff is great and very helpful. Pool and surroundings are beautiful. Right off the beach. Plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas.

We attended a wedding here. Huge deck for outdoor ceremonies that overlooks Charlotte Harbor.

This is a very nice little beach and park. The water is brackish which I understand is just as clean as the ocean but “rusty” colored because of the vegetation and mangrove trees so good swimming if you choose. I prefer the beautiful pool myself. Which is right on the beach and is inexpensive. Gorgeous sunset from here. Nice spot close to where we live to set up chairs & relax.

I love this little park! A great place to relax next to the waters edge while the kids play on the extremely clean and well kept playground. They have picnic areas that are covered, restrooms that are clean and maintained and beautiful grass to throw a sheet down on for a picnic. Beautiful park all around

This is a Great place to have a BBQ with family and friends. The kids love to run around and play basketball. I like to bring my beach chair put some music on my phone and relax. I sometimes bring my parents and we sit on the bench with picnic table. I do not get in the water because its dark but you are able to. I prefer to watch the scenery. A few times I had my kids and had to leave because the party at the pavilion were not kid friendly. They were smoking weed. Which is fine if I were alone but I dont think thats the place for it. Otherwise lots of fun!

So peaceful, yet if crowded it would be fine! . Theres a playground, and a lot of walking area four dogs or just people :-) near the water, I recommend a visit!
