Very cute park! Its dog friendly with poo bag stations throughout the park . There are also public restrooms, a small playground, a fishing pier and plenty of parking! I loved the paved sidewalks that look out onto the Peace River.

Bayshore Live Oak Park is really a great city. I love everything Bayshore Live Oak Park especially the diversity. I feel most comfortable there anytime of day and suburbs are nice but quiet after 7 pm. There is so much to do in Bayshore Live Oak Park. I love to go there to do yoga but unfortunately because of virus everything seems standstill. Even then its great to visit.

Great place by the water. Friendly people, nice place to walk. Pier is fabulous, constructed with trex board floor...feels sturdy and safe. Clean facilities. Park kept clean.

Quiet, scenic, very enjoyable place! Brought my lunch, watched the birds and enjoyed beautiful views of the water and the clouds. Really enjoyable after all this time being locked in...

Great place to walk your dog. It has wide sidewalks, restrooms available too. Its one of my favorite places to go!

The kids love the park but every time we go there we constantly smell pot. Would give it 5 if the smell was not an issue.

This park is a family place . There are several places to pull off and enjoy all the sounds of the beach, with benches and individual pic nic tables. Or there is a large covered pavilion. And childrens park area. With bathrooms available on the far side of the kids park .where there is a nice long fishing pier.

Lovely pier but no fish, or at least might not be using the right bait, finger mullet, shirm and squid and nada.

A very nice small park with many fun things for kids and adults, I highly recommend spending time with family here.

Beautiful Area you have the water to one side, a play park for the kids, the other side and a pavilion the setup for eating, etc I attended a Celebration of Life there today and All was Perfect.

Many memories here with friends, and they have a new playground with padded flooring! But beware, the padding gets extremely hot, I recommend wearing shoes on a hot day. They have a large seating are with a massive grill/chimney. I do not recommend swimming in the water, its complection is to that of urine.

Nice Park ... but would be much better if the damage (presumably from Hurricane Irma) was repaired. The park has some nice facilities including a pavilion, childrens playground, Fishing Pier, restrooms and is pet friendly. But the path along the shore is damaged and impassable in places, so youre forced to go back to the sidewalk. Im not sure what will happen to the park given the planned Condo expansion, but hopefully itll be fully restored to a nice family park.

Great well kept up family park.

This is a great Park. The facilities here are modern rustic and are well maintained. The park is kept very clean and it is not too heavily traveled. This is a great place to come with your family. Bring your children bring a picnic lunch relax and enjoy the whole day. Theres a beautiful Fishing Pier a very nice playground with a soft padded rubber floor matting and lots of shade and Open Spaces to relax in. Its close to downtown Punta Gorda just on the other side of the bridge in Port Charlotte and an easy Drive. There are restaurants and fast food chains within walking distance including Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonalds. It is quiet, quaint, clean and beautiful.

Great Ocean side park. Kids play area, 2 washrooms, 2 piers, boat launch area for canoes and kayaks. Approx 1 mile ocean front promanade. The grounds are well kept, and a real pleasure to walk. There are also 2 pavilions for picnics or larger functions. There is also a performing arts area with a layout for a semi circular venue.A great place to enjoy a sunset, a walk along the ocean, or just to relax on a bench and read a book.

One of my favorite parks! This is a dog loving park,. No one complains that we use a electronic leash collar, not a physical leash. They do have a few places that dispense poop bag and Ive never seen them empty. The peir is a great fishing spot as well.

Watching the sunset.. beautiful and had a treat from a blue herron decided to pose for us... one thing I did see was a maybe homeless person under the building.. which Im glad I wasnt alone

Love this park. Fun play sets for the kids. Its always quiet. On the water so you can walk in it when its hot. Pavilion and picnic tables available. I believe there are grills but not one hundred on that. People walk their dogs out there. Very nice, peaceful park.

The playground is the coolest cutest around. Just wish they would get rid of the homeless taking over around there. Makes me uncomfortable to go alone with my children when all thats there is grown men drinking all day.

This small park runs along the waters edge and is great for a stroll or just to sit and enjoy the view. There are 2 washrooms, both clean and well kept. 2 pavilions for picnics or gatherings. 2 fishing pier, one of which is closed for repairs. The kids playground is unique! A concrete cow and tree with a wallrus make this play area like no other!In the evening, the sunsets from this park are world-class.One of the pretty areas in Port Charlotte.

Surprisingly cute park by the water! Lots of shade. My daughter loved the life- sized manatee and cow. Small beach for wading and also a place to rinse your feet. Slides and swings are perfect for both younger and okder kids.

This place was a discovered Jam of Port Charlotte! So glad to find another place to watch Sunset and walk. Moving from beaches to no beaches, so glad this place is there.

Wonderful park to bring your children and the whole family

Bayshore has a couple piers, 5 to 6 parking areas and Walk ways that are guided to one another along Peace River in Charlotte harbor. Theres a kids play yard and 2 pavilion areas with electric and grill areas with seating and 2 public restrooms . Each park offers great sun and shade and access to the waters for different activities. My boyfriend and I have no kids but the park is inviting for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and many family and friends visits.

Nice scenery a good place for kids and parents but every time Ive gone the bugs were pretty bad.

Bayshore park is a small park located right on the water. The views are awesome, and there is just enough equipment for a small group of kids. There are some walking paths along the water, and a few piers to walk on. We like to stop there for shorter visits at dusk to watch the sunset.

Great park for everything like birthday parties or other engagements and the park is great for kids young to 13 id say.. Good paths to walk down the pier or just enjoy the view!

My kids love this park! Its smaller than other parks, but has a decent amount of things to do. The covered picnic tables and shade trees are a HUGE bonus. Restrooms are near by, and are usually clean and stocked. I recommend visiting before noon, its cooler and less crowded.

Nice park with covered pavilions, grills are available for public use, great for gatherings especially for kids. They have a play area for kids as well. Also have walk ways that lead to and are along the Peace River in the Charlotte harbor. They have beautiful views and they also have clean public restrooms.

Beautiful park. The county is finally repairing much needed work that was stalled for over two years. Its a Very nice park and children and dog friendly. Id like to plan outings here in the future. It has a small ampitheatre on the water and clean facilities. Great fishing spot to. As long as the riff raff is kept at bay like anywhere its very nice and serine.

This park was once a real coastal jem .. But this park has went down hill fast.. There is no maintenance at this park metal fence is broken dock closed concrete walk ways cracked.and so on. Did someone forget to keep up on the repair work.. 2 years like this .people deserve to have nice parks

Very nice area for children to play. Sadly since Hurricane Irma they still havent fixed the sidewalk along the Peace River. Its very sad that it has been a year and it is still blocked off with the orange plastic fencing. Other than that its a beautiful park with beautiful views of the harbor.
