Really cute lovely park! You can do anything here. From bird watching to weddings! They have it all! A playground for the kiddos. A trail easy enough for a stroller, a wheelchair and or a bicycle. Outside gym along the trail. Picnic tables. Gazebo. Field. Cute horse shoe shaped pond. Public bathrooms. Water fountain for you and your four legged friend. Ideal trails for hiking jogging running speed walking or just plain old nature stroll through the tropical jungle like surrounding!

Outstanding as usual. Havent gone in a while but man is it refreshing to take in the fresh air while walking those trails early in the morning. If you have kids, pack a snack and hit the playground afterwards. They will strongly consider a nap after all the activities.

What a great place to walk through! Well maintained. The paths are smooth. Some are paved. There are exercise stations along the path. There are bathrooms and playground for kids. Just a wonderful place to stop and enjoy nature. Check it out!

Cute, quite park. Bridge to walk, lots of turtles, birds, and even a alligator that you can usually see from the bridge. Picnic tables and walking trails. Very cute place ️

This is the place I like to go when I want a relaxing walk, but want to be out of the sun. Its beautiful, close to home, always nice & clean, wooded, and not a lot of people. I love that they provide spots with poop bags & trash cans for when I want to take Karma. WARNING: DONT FORGET YOUR BUG REPELLENT!! I went home with a zillion mosquito bites the first time I went! Lesson learned! Raining Zen Body Lotion is in my car ALWAYS!

Nice trails and board walks. Its not very long so if you are looking for hours long hike youll be underwhelmed, but for a nice stroll with tree cover very nice.

Hiked it every day for 3 weeks. Small but beautiful park great exercises equipment. Cant wait to make it a every day morning routine.

Clean, safe place for the kids to expend lots of energy. Nice workout stations and playground. Take bread to feed the turtles.

Love the trail walk, it was easy to walk with a stroller. I also love the exercise equipments posted throughout the park, very convenient and ideal to kill two birds with one stone. You get to walk and see the beauty of nature and work out! Also, the childrens playground is a plus! What more can you ask for?

Too small for any real walk of substance. It is good for a family walk to get away from the noise of the traffic. Beautiful sounds of nature right before a heavy rain. frogs were very loud and abundant. Saw a baby black snake on the patio prior to the rain as well. I do love the workout equipment nestled in the backdrop of trees and tall grasses.

Love this little park. Multiple picnic areas, walking trails with exercise stations and a big playground for the kids. Look for the Barred Owls that hang out near the playground, they raise young there every year and are not shy around people.

My kids love this place. They can run around or walk the paths through the woods and go check out the ducks and turtles.

Beautiful canopy for shady walk! Lots of vines and other vegetation. The water area has ducks and other birds as well as turtles.

No covered bridge here! Unless you count some tree branches. Nice to see the duckies.

Beautiful jungle like atmosphere. Paved and well groomed trails. Perfect for wheelchair access. Perfect for all ages. Some mosquitoes. Restrooms need maintenance.

We love it here. We visit from Canada every few years and always stop here with the kids. Its a great hike and now they have more equipment to use. Lots of turtles,fish and birds. We even sawan owl. Its very beautiful.

This is a nice little park with an exercise trail going all the way around. Nice and shady for those hot Florida days and a nice playground for the kids. I saw people fishing in the lake, but not sure if they caught much or if the fish can be eaten.

Love this park.. has a little kid playground and a big kid playground, swings, trails to walk on. Lots of picnic tables and group party areas. Grills and trashcans by the ponds. I just wouldnt stay here after 6-7 pm personally.

Love going to Kiwanis. They have upgraded the playground area with new equipment over the past few years. Recently the trail got some new workout equipment. So, plenty to do with kids, or hiking along he trails. Its a nice little hidden area that is covered by trees. It has a nice open area that has water around it that is available for rent. It has a few pavilions to use. Definitely one of our favorites to visit.

Great family friendly park with lots of trails and board walks and one. Spaces for the kiddos or dogs to run.My son and I go every day and workout because they have workout stations at all different locations along the trail you can jog to themHe doesI walkBut the entrance of the park is a side street right next to the park off midway.Took me a little while to figure that out.Then the 1st right and all the swings and slides and goodies the kids can play on.They do have bathroomsAnd water fountains.

Park is always clean and well maintained great walking trails.. you always see some sort of wildlife here .bird watching great horned owl and so on..Wild bobcats .alligator in pond turtles and fish.. Plus exercises work out stations right off trails. Well worth the visit.

Tons of wildlife at this park. The water is loaded with fish, huge turtles, and we even saw a 4 ft. gator here.

Great for hiking, dog walking or just relaxing. There are pavillions and picnic tables, theres an open field for frisbee or softball. Very clean and peaceful.

Great little shady park, tucked away in one of the Port Charlotte neighborhoods. They have a little trash in the pond, which is unfortunate, but there is a playground, some jogging trails, and an open area where you can bring the dogs/kids for some outdoor fun.

Love Kiwanis Park. Short walk or long. You can adjust your length of walk with different trails. Alot of tree cover from the sun and heat. There is exercise equipment along the route. Spend 5 minutes on each and you have a good workout. Dog friendly.

Since they put in the outdoor gym equipment I do enjoy coming here more. The trails are nice to run or walk thru. They have a little park with swings for the kids. Really nice quiet place to come to and enjoy some nature

Very nice park. Took our 2 year old Granddaughter to play. She loves the swings.Lots of walking area. Lots of shade. There is also some exercise equipment available.Picnic areas and grills. There is restroom facilities, a drinking fountain for people and a drinking fountain for dogs too. You can walk your dog. Just be sure to PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG. We were very impressed with the park.

Really nice little park with a playground for the kids, a nice shady walking trail and exercise machines scattered throughout the park. This is a great place to walk the dog (they have doggie bags throughout park), have a pic nic next to the little water area, or just be out in nature. They also have restrooms. Over all great park!!

Nice quiet park. Pet friendly, small play grounds, nice walking paths, exercise equipment, as you walk the paths. Lots of birds and turtles.

Very peaceful. Able to have birthday parties or even events. I love bringing bread to feed the turtles

We have been bringing our children here since they were little. (Our oldest is now 20 years old) I recently brought them back to take their senior photos here and the pictures came out awesome! Just dont get too close to the water. There are quite a few gators in there. They are small but the kids love standing on the bridge watching them.

This place was pretty. It has something to offer to everyone. Walking trails. Kids playground. There was a cool looking bridge where I could walk across and see the fish and turtles swimming. There was a 6 ft alligator basking in the sun.

Nice overall park. Has restrooms, two playgrounds one for older and younger kids. Swings, dog section, and walking trails with exercise pieces spread around. Only downside bugs can be little crazy at times. Lots of wild life including owls.

Typical Lowes. Ive usually had descent experience here accept one time. I was looking for a specialty bolts and the guy stocking wouldnt look in his cart full of boxes for the bolts i needed. He refused to help me! Outside of that getting a good person to help can be difficult especially late in the day or during theyre breaks. Im usually self sufficient but finding things can be tricky at times

I really love this park when you first come into the parking lot you have some really nice playgrounds and swing sets for the children and then there are three separate paths the one in the middle goes to a really nice open area in the middle of the park with a gazebo and two different picnic sets with a moat going around the entire thing and then you also have bike paths that go in and around the entire park really nice place for anyone that wants to get out for a walk or bike ride anything
