Big tree, somewhat interesting shape. The cucumber tree on the opposite side of the Andorra woods was more interesting until it fell down. Therese trails are nice for a 2.5 to 3 mile trail run.

Magnificent Tree

Beautiful, old and huge tree, one of many exquisite specimens in this locale. The Great Beech is a short 2 minute walk from the Andorra Environmental Center. Suggest taking a longer walk out to the Andorra Meadow. What a treasure Fairmont Park and the Wissahickon are for all of us.
