As many of you know I restore and repair historic gravestones (Tidy Tombstones) so putting me in a historic mansion leads to nothing but happy time for me. Even if youre not a history buff this is definitely a place worth visiting. There are a lot of great architectural features, period furniture, and portraits to examine. I could have spent even more time there, so I guess a return visit is in order.

It was a beautiful evening at the Foerd. Somewhat disappointed not seeing a poinsettia, bow or even a wreath for the holiday season. Would have made the evening that much more enchanting.

Love walk the trails around the grounds. To stop & smell the various rose bushes. Views of the Delaware River are beautiful & serene.I saw a large tent where you can hold events outside in.I have never been inside the building that is rich in architecture. Getting a tour inside is on my to do list!

Since the pandemic, there had been no music heard on the weekends at Salem Harbour. Tonight, there apparently an event being held there. I hope that it is not the usual crowd. I hope that there are no more than 25 people and they have masks on since they are probably not dancing while six feet apart.

The staff was outstanding. Ambience was very classy. Food is delicious.

Its like stepping back in time. Glenn foerd really gives you feel for high society living at that time. The veiw of the delaware is amazing.

This place is only minutes away from where I grew up. I always knew it existed, but not until recently did I go. I can’t understate how beautiful this space is. It’s essentially a park with several neat things to see and an excellent view of the Delaware. The mansion itself is gorgeous. The interior really surprised me: it’s both extravagant and homely. I enjoyed learning about the history of the estate and I appreciated the art exhibits as well. I went as a casual museum-goer, but I understand they do weddings and other events too.I highly recommend if you want to enjoy an awesome little green space with an incredible view and a wonderful little museum.

It was a very nice Venue however the Mansion could use some updating. We were looking at this Venue for our wedding but decided not to book with them because we would have to dance in the basement which was not an option for us.

Glenns Ford has been open since 1986 and that is the first time I have visited and that was through training class for two week. Of time during a summer months and that was back when you were able to smoke in the buildings and even in this building we had been smoking in The Wine Cellar where the public restrooms were located the Mansion has been open to the public which it had been donated by the family I do believe it was Glenns Ford Im not sure the name and its beautiful artistic home with unbelievable items inside the home has a bathroom in every room Wine Cellar the the exterior the guard and the property the Landscaping is amazing theres weddings that can be held here there are numerous different types of celebrations that can be held here indoors or Outdoors fully accommodating gorgeous porta potties and its right on the River where theres numerous reviews of New Jersey Trenton Camden I can View Center City then you can also view Bucks County as in Langhorne and those other areas marzville so come and take a look its beautiful I cant explain it you have to see it for yourself

A hidden gem with beautiful grounds, youll forget your in the 21st century let alone the city.

First time coming here for the Scary Stories to tell in the Dark show. The mansion and the view is beautiful. The staff hosting the event could have been a little more friendlier. All in all, I had a good time and enjoyed myself. Was it worth the ticket price? No, not really but to hear your favorite scary stories reenacted was priceless.

I have been there for many parties and my Neice had her wedding and reception there. They were wonderful. But now they serve their meals in large tented areas which I dont think I would be interested in. The estate is still very beautiful.

Gorgeous venue! My brother and his wife held their wedding here in August 2016, and everyone had a blast. The food, drinks, service, and venue staff were all fantastic.The historic mansion is charming on the inside, although I noticed the outside could use some more upkeep (paint peeling in some places, active wasp nest near one of the windows upstairs by the bridal dressing room, leaves needed to be swept off the terraces). If they put just a bit more effort into the latter, this place would be nothing short of 18th century opulent.

Gorgeous venue! Ive been to Glen Foerd on two separate occasions now and must say both experiences exceeded expectations. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The backdrop is beautiful. The food top quality.

Here for a anniversary party: very nice atmosphere. Please note that you have to supply your own catering company. The one recommended by Glen Foerd was amazing.
