One of the best monuments I’ve visited. The area surrounding the monument was great with the museum of art in one direction and downtown Philly in the other.

Its a nice fountain with really big statue and on the top its a big statue of George Washington on the horse its in a nice position because its in the middle of the art museum Rocky steps from the top of the stairs you can have a beautiful view without Philadelphia in like a background if you are in Philadelphia what you will not miss it Miss is right in the middle of the street

Extremely captivating and detailed sculpture in the heart of Philadelphia! I don’t think I’ve ever seen sculpture work this intricate within the U.S.

This is a massive fountain with a statue atop. You must when going to the Philadelphia Art Museum take some time before going inside and see the Washington Monument Fountain, Eakins Oval, State Rte 3007, Philadelphia, PA.
