Much nicer than before, tremendous upgrade. So proud to be back in the neighborhood and see such changes.Minor note, please continue working on the bike trail. Thank you!
Great place to walk your dog or take the kids to the playground and even jog and exercise! Path goes all the way to casino
It was a nice romantic setting for me and my mate..clean park. It has slides etc for toddlers to play. Its a couple feet from the river and it gives you a great view of downtown Camden. Very little lighting at night(i mean minimal) so dont go alone at night unless your packing.
Has very family atmosphere. Beautiful views of the river and the the Ben Franklin bridge. Very serene and calming walking along the path by the river.
Penn Treaty park is nice. Youre right on the river and its pretty simple to get to by car or foot. Had to drive but found nearby street parking no problem on a Saturday.Park grounds could be better kept for sure but still nice
Penn Treaty is one of my morning go to spots. Avoid on weekends if youre trying to remain socially distant. Go on week days or early mornings. When the park first opens up its usually pretty laid back with lots of space to run, cycle, or workout on the grass. As the day progresses the park fills in and gets a little overcrowded. The new updates along the waterfront provide a lot more options for those looking to find a quiet spot to meditate in the mornings. I recommend being careful along the rocky areas along the water because there are a ton of rats that roam around if you look closely youll see them! Aside from the rats, this park is great. There are some beautiful views along the path and there is a spot at the back where you could probably launch a kayak or sup if you go early enough to do so, just note that this is not publicly listed as a launch spot.
So this is been my go-to chill Place lately my number one favorite place is inRittenhouse Square but I feel like Im starting to like both of them equally its a lot of room to walk around we can put your blanket on the ground or on the grass rather and relax you can also bring a hammock if you have one and tie it between two trees or you can walk the trail or just stare at the water and look at the sky and reminisce on where you want to be in the world or just reflect on life well to boil it all down its a great place to go.Bye for now
Nice place to visit. Clean and great river views. Dont expect parking spots to be available.
Its been over 9 years since I was last at Penn treaty Park very different now better looking and clearer
One of my favorite places in Philly. Beautiful view of the Ben Franklin Bridge, walk/bike path, modern kids playground, big lawn, fishing. Beware small parking lot and no port a potty.
I love this park!!!!! My boyfriends brother lives within walking distance so we have come here a few times now, its gorgeous, spacious, and has an amazing nature vibe despite all the people. I love it!!!! The puppy has room to roam, makes new friends, plenty of space to play Cornhole and frisbee. Definitely recommend visiting
We had a great day at Penn Treaty Park, it was our monthly cleanup day. We planted 3 trees and a few plants on the north east side near the rivers edge.
Awesome here..we usually go at night..but last time we seen a firedancer just randomly doing his firedancing thing alone..Always a good time here..quiet on the right days...and Johnny Hots right across the street..if ur there during the daytime and want a bite!!
Took a Saturday afternoon drive with my family and made an unplanned stop here.Whether youre looking for a shady space to sit and be, or you want some sun and a view of the Ben Franklin over the Delaware River, its worth visiting this 7-acre greenspace. In the shaded area is a relatively new playground good for maybe 30 children and a few benches and picnic tables near the fountain. If you want to sit elsewhere and youre bringing a group, bring blankets or chairs. My family and I sat on the rocks for maybe 30 minutes and we were happy to chat and listen to some music. It was such a peaceful place .
I walk my dog here 2-3 X per week. It is spacious & other dog walkers are respectful of space distances. People are friendly & courteous. The best part is the beautiful & relaxing view of the Delaware River. I now feel safe walking the paths of this park.
It is a pet friendly very happy atmosphere the landing of William Penn at our city
Calm n peaceful. Friends and family relaxing together. Nice water views.
There is a park for children. You can have a picnic here. It is a waterfront park with good views of the city. A nice place to relax.
I ️ this place! Just spent a few much needed hours loving up on my wife ️ Shes my safe place...
Much improved park versus what I remember from being a kid. Great for dogs and families.
If not down by the water at penns landing, well you can find me here too . Wheres the icerink here
This park is definitely pretty cool, it does need some love from the city tho... trash around needs pickin up... but there is potential!
Nice park. Right off the Delaware river. Not too far from a ton off attractions. Plenty of lawn space for picnics or games
Great city park. Water views and nice promenade.
I go here everyday for walks. amazing
Great place has changed so much since I was a kidFor the best
Awesome spacious. Shade and sea. No place to pee though, so keep that in mind
Nice park wish there were more tables though and that they were level
Great place to relax n bring the family n kids .
Nice and peaceful. Nice view of the river
It was so nice tonight with the cool breeze it was the perfect night to be there
Beautiful park with a nice river view.So peaceful.
Family favorite... Most are friendly. Another chill spot, photo opp. I often get take out, n bring it here to eat..**NO LIGHTS in playground at all, so it gets very dark with all the trees**
Very clean park. The sunrise is just beautiful from that place. Best view on Ben Franklin bridge. It’s all amazing.
Ive been coming to Penn Treaty Park since I was a small child, its always been a good experience for me. They recently added a new path from the park to the casino and the construction looks good. The park has always been a great place for sunrises and sunsets on the Delaware river. Its a great place for photography too especially in the winter when the river freezes over. The playground is pretty new. Its definitely one of the better public playgrounds in the entire area. There area paths for walking and biking and a large field for other activities. Penn treaty park is great for friends and family or a nice place to get some peace especially in the early morning hours. There are benches and tables for picnicking and family gatherings. The only thing this place lacks consistently is a public bathroom, there are plenty of times when you will find a porta potty or two but sometimes the potties are gone so be sure to use the restroom before coming to the park.
Solid park, a little off the beaten path so generally not as crowded as some of the other philly parks. Nice views of the water, and of the old Electric Co building which is a fun time if you are up for it as well. The park will likely die when the casino expands it BS
Its a shame there is so much trash along the shoreline and throughout the park. Why can’t people use trash cans? This is a wonderful resource that’s historically significant, but its embarrassingly dirty.
A bit crowded being the only park in the town, but great place to chill and walk.
Had a wonderful time with my family. Kids enjoyed the playground & the open space to play football. We also found 2 turtle. Which was very exciting for the kiddos & the big kids too.
I love that they fixed this park up but Im still waiting for them to make some public restrooms for it
Nice small city park on the Delaware river.
Cleaner than most parks in the city. Great for a picnic, not good for fishing.
Good view of the river and the bridge. Too small; not much to explore, though. If you happen to live nearby, not bad to have a walk. Don’t expect to see the city skyline here.
I love this park but others might not. It has a grungy appeal, good views but there are drainage problems so part of bike path floods and its not the cleanest place.
This park has amazing views, tons of green space, and a great little play area for kids. The 2019 renovations have made it even better with new bike paths, lighting, and some seating to take in the views of the river, bridge, and city.
Pull up and picnic. It’s a beautiful and clean park usually with a few families, some dogs, some older men fishing, and just people relaxing. You’ll see people laying up on picnic blankets, playing fetch with dogs, kids playing in the small playground area, people doing yoga and running, etc. They also have a small parking lot and a few porta potty.Bring some snacks, some things to play with, a blanket and you good. Pick an open spot under the sun or a spot under a tree. And you good.
I love this park... We came herw for the Easter Egg Hunt with The Block Church... This is an amazing park... Lovely view of the Delaware River....
It was my first visit to the park. The park is a great space for kids, dogs and fun! With beautiful views of the river.
Its quiet. Its near the river. Its clean.
One of my favorites to spend time with the family. Highly recommend.
They did a great job at this park i love it
Great lounging with the kids or a group of friends and pets too
Really nice park to hang out with the family a lot of eateries around the area enjoy
Well kept park. Beautiful detour to add on your running route and great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge! There is a small parking lot on the premises that fills up quickly.
This is definitely one of my favorite places to be. Pet friendly and kid friendly. Its usually very easy to find parking here. The scenery is just beautiful!
Peaceful and a great community feel park along the Delaware
Nice scenery been going since I was a kid
To many people out for a stay at home order. And no one wears a mask what so ever. Nice view tho
Really nice clean area to have fun with the family and friends on a nice hot summer day.
Beautiful everything they do down there is nice and community related only complaint would be need to keep dog bags available replenished
A place where you can sit back and take in the gods work
Ive watched this park change dramatically over time, then again its still the same. Its a great place to go and sit by the water, or bring the children to play in the play area during the family BBQs. Its always been the one place I think of when needing a little slice of relaxation.
Fantastic park. Lots to do, and loved sitting riverside on the rocks.
Beautiful scenery, great biking trails, fabulous ambiance at night.
Very relaxing place with benches so that you people watch, pray, and just chill. Its nice to watch families and fishermen.
Great riverfront spot with an expansive view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. Good for recreation or even a little exercise. A sunny open field, and plentiful shady areas with playground equipment for the little ones. Parking can fill up quickly, especially on nice days, so consider walking or cycling - there is a bike rack.
Great historical landmark for a romantic, quiet stroll along the waterfront or to sit and chill as the ships roll up and down the Delaware River.
One of my fave parks to visit. Love the area and the view of the water.
Beautiful..very peaceful
Very nive and peaceful
I love this park Ive been coming to this park since I was a kid and its always been my go to spot. There working on it to make it more better for everyone to enjoy being there. Best park in Philly I would say. You can do so much in this park and its great for the kids and dogs.
Beautiful but no volleyball net
Nice and clean. Food view.
They are making renovations and the area is on the way up. It has changed a lot over the years... This park is a staple to the local community and successfully brings the neighborhood together. It gets four stars because of the great people who make their events happen and because of those participating. This park truly deserves more ammenities, security, funding and recognition. Philly natives are comfortable and at home here.
Had a great day with the family
Excellent but.The renovations are taking forever & there is Zero lighting! And MUD everywhere.Im sure it will be fabulous when the renovations are completed...Fishtown forever!
Nice park. Kid friendly
Its nice if your the kind of person who thinks the city is nice. Dont go at night ...
Its always beautiful
Trash everywhere even walking around it was wild.
Great place for an early morning walk...beautiful...peaceful
The park is beautiful just bring something to clean the tables if ur bringing food
This little park has such amazing views! I never would have known it existed, if I didn’t move to Old City!
Really nice, but people need to keep the trash in the trashcans not in the water.
Was great native dancers were out..was beautiful
