Beautiful place but DO NOT COME DURING THE PANDEMIC.. about 89% of the games are shut down. Any game that you ONLY use your hands for, is shut down. Unfortunate. Ill return after all this mess && hopefully itll be much more fun.

I love the arcade games and the unique UFO catcher machines! They change up the prizes in the machines every so often and bring in some new games too.They now have hand sanitizer stations at the entrances because these are covid times. When they sanitize the games they will put a sticker over the card swiper to let you know the game is clean. I appreciate this so much.The staff is generally friendly and I love coming back!

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. None of the games are open. All of the lights are light like the game is on, but it’s not. No warning. So after you buy tickets you realize nothing is really open to play. Then a round of bowling is $50 for 4 people. Can’t even eat or drink nothing. This place is literally a joke. Would never come back.

The place to be is Round 1. You can do everything there from bowling to karaoke. The customer service is great and you have a fantastic time. I would recommend for every one to experience a day at Round 1.

Accused of cheating over a game that rewarded a $15 figure. Employee claim he was watching me the whole time and did not say anything until Ive won the prize. I brought $160 worth in credit and had two cards on me sliding the reader until I was able to win. Im pretty sure if I had ran out of money and walked away, I wouldnt have been a cheater. They also threaten to ban me.

They got sf3. Was when I discovered their super turbo machine was broken. The alfa there machine was also messed up. But the rest of the fighting games worked fine.

I brought my girlfriend down to Philly (it was our first date) and we had a reservation at The Hard Rock Cafe. We had about an hour and stumbled upon Round1 and thought why not. I will say that I had my reservations on how helpful/friendly people are in Philly so my expectations were not high to begin with. My girlfriend and I found a claw game with an adorable unicorn in it. So I got a game card and put some money on. We were putting everything we had into getting that unicorn and Ashley and her coworker (sorry I do not remember your name) were the nicest and honestly really reminded me that even in a city like Philly there are still good people. She was professional, friendly and helped us out with the game and sure enough we won (thanks to A LOT of help from Ashley). You made our first date amazing and the way my girlfriend lit up when you gave her the unicorn was something I will never forget. Thank you for putting 110% into your work. Its a fun place. Very family friendly. We only visited the Arcade, but did see the area to play pool. The place was very clean, lots of games to play. They have a place to buy food and another to buy alcoholic beverages. They also have rooms for parties.

It was OK. This white worker lady harassed me when a dozen other people walked in with drinks and food, but she wanted to say something to me.

New round1 here, definitely in a decent location if you dont want to drive all the way to Exton. As a recently opened arcade, it has its issues, some games are not fully installed and some have the wrong pricing. The selection of games is also really good, lots of redemption games and Japanese rhythm games (which i always love).Also love the $0.99 ice cream.

I can accept poor service from employees but the employees at this arcade is beyond poor the manager needs to be fired for even hiring these lazy unknowledgeable staff.

Beautiful place. Great selection of arcade games, nice bowling alleys, nice pool tables. But the the help is terrible. Lazy and rude staff at the food counter with no sense of customer service. I wont go back and waste my money here, and Round 1 Corporate should tighten down on management to actually manage the workers here.

I was SO excited to check this new Round 1 out. I visited Round 1s and other arcades in Japan. I also go to the Round 1 in Exton. I have an existing card with over 5000 tickets saved, and have spent hundreds of dollars playing for the sheer joy it brings me. Personally I prefer to go to the Round 1 in Exton, just because I enjoy the drive, but on occasions, when Im in the city Id love to play some games here. The only problem is, your existing card wont work at a new location which is preposterous! As someone who travels often I have ONE Dave&Busters card zoned to many many different locations. And what that means is, that my existing card can be used at any location. The representative just swipes it through their system. Ill update my review with a better one as soon as Round 1 updates their card policy. Because what theyre basically saying is, someone who travels a lot has to constantly keep buying a new card. Like whats the point? Other than that this place is huge. The games are a little more expensive compared to the same games at round 1 Exton but thats understandable. I dont mind that difference, I would just like my card to be zoned to this location as well and not just limited to one. Never thought I would say Dave& Busters has a point, but they do. Im not going to put my 2¢ in here about Round 1 Japan. Be grateful Im not expecting you to adopt what Japans arcades do when you win something over there: they congratulate me, ring a bell, and hand me a bag. They also give you tips on how to win crane machines over there. But its different here. And I get that, Im not asking for much but get with the program!

You have to buy food just to order a drink from the bar so every time you want a bar drink you have to order food was told that a bowling lane would open up in 45 minutes three hours later no bowling lane

Fantastic selection of music games! They could really use additional IIDX and dance game cabs to keep up with demand, but they do a good job to keep up on maintenance and the selection is amazing. There used to be nothing like it outside of Japan!

Manager wont transfer my credits from my card that works in exton because they use a different system. Girl at register said she can. Her supervisor said no we stopped after the 21st. Register girl said but (name I forget) said we still can. supervisor refused. Way to retain customers with good customer service. Also see picture for denied tickets a friend earned.

Probably one of THE BEST Round Ones Ive ever been to! Located in close proximity to Reading Terminal, China Town, Old CIty, City Hall area its highly recommended on a crawl night. Variety of games, expertise of the staff, and layout of the floor. Hard to beat!

Not for adults... There is always a long line for drinks. Cant bowl, playing pool or be outside of the bar area with hard liquor.. The food line also long.. Needs to be better organized..

Decided to give here a try instead of exxton. Not as big and nice but def can compete and a good old round one location! The only negative part was the male employee cursing a storm behind the counter

Man this place was great my family had fun the food was good I just wish they offered more of a verity the place is clean and bright and staff and security was on point I felt safe and well served.

I like the prizes. They’re not the same monotonous prizes you’d always see at other amusement centers, they’re exclusive to Japan.The staff will be this place’s downfall. A friend of mine was not accepted for employment and I see why, they are way too professional.I will be back for the karaoke (which disappointedly was not available at the time) and pool. The place is fitting for adults (who don’t hate the sight of children) and all ages. after a certain time it’s 21 and older.

You have a time limit to get your food, if you dont hear your number called.... your not getting a refund and your not getting your food remade.... and the machines are down we only taking cash is what is said over loud speaker and they cut our game off at the 7th frame

I was looking forward to meeting my friends at this more convenient Philly location instead of Exton. Unfortunately my Exton card with $100 of credits is completely worthless and they refuse to transfer the credits to the Philly card because... Why??? The district manager said no. I plan to finish playing in Exton then will never go to Round one again!

Finally a cool place to play arcade games and go bowling in the market east area. This place has it all including thier good ice cream to eat. They got some fun video machines you havent seen before and they are worth playing over and over. They got a big selection of redemption machines to try and win some prizes. Round1 is a must stop for anyone seeking entertainment!

Expect to wait 30 minutes for one drink. They only have one person ringing up and getting drinks. This is bad..... You have to wait in line for drinks. Its also Saturday night.... Theres only 1 register.
