Nice staff and the room I did (jack the ripper) was enjoyable though it was a bit difficult so just check the difficulty rating of the room or whatever before you go if you care. But the room was well put together and well thought out you can see the work and time that’s put into it.

Extremely fun and challenging. The instructors are great and definitely seem to enjoy what they do. Hrlped us to keep things moving. We did the easiest room and did not escape. Really cool themes highly recommend. I like how challenging they are they do make you think. We will definitely be back again

As first timers we chose mind escape Thai Prison room. It was the best decision ever! Olivia was our game master &she was more than amazing! The room definitely had good twists and was fully entertaining! While we didn’t escape fully we made it down to the wire, literally. Lol! Definitely going back for other rooms and highly recommend!

Ive done quite a few escape rooms and the reason Im so hesitant to ever do one in the city is the main reason MindEscape suffered. There was a lot of tech involved and many times our gamemaster had to tell us Sorry, thats supposed to do this, but its broken or Be gentle, we just fixed that. The themes were amazing (we did Alice in Wonderland) and Im sure when they just opened it, it was even better, but I couldnt help but notice some of the status had big chips in their faces, etc. For a quick, fun spur of the moment to do with some friends, this place was great, but if youre looking to be WOWed, you may end up a little disappointed.

This was an awesome experience! Been to a couple escape rooms, and nothing came close to this place. It was a very unique idea, and certainly added a bit extra to freak us out. Very well put together, and the staff is awesome!! Loved the photo props at the end! We will definitely be back!

Went with a group of 8 and we had the best time! I highly recommended this location if your looking for something fun and new to do with a group of friends. The game we chose was the hardest, however, with the help of the nicest staff, we were able to make it pretty far! The staff was such a delight and we will definitely be back. Thank you Mind Escape!

This was the first escape room for most members of our group and we are totally hooked! Cant wait to come back and try the other two rooms. We did the Jack the Ripper room and our guide was great, the clues well thought out, clever and fun and the theme kept us all entertained. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I did the Escape from Thai Prison and it was AWESOME. It was our first escape room experience and Alex was our game master. He made us really comfortable and provided a very fun atmosphere that really set the scene for the scenario. We didn’t finish, but we got very close to the end and had a great experience over all! We will definitely be coming back to try out another one!

Have to say I had great time at MindEscape! For a date, we did the Thai Prison escape and lets just say I really felt like I was escaping from jail. lol I dont want to give away the game but it felt so realistic! Our game master was hilarious - I literally screamed like twice. Definitely going back to do their other adventures the next Im in Philly.

Mind escape was so amazing! My group did the escape of Jack the Ripper, we did not win but it was such a fun adventure!! Our host Alex made it so enjoyable and was super nice! I will definitely be coming back to try the other escape rooms!

I threw a 17th birthday party it was a little hectic at first but the staff helped and stayed enthusiastic toward the party, it was awesome rooms are very intriguing and intricate I will definitely be returning to do all three. My lil sister had an amazing birthday party and loved the lounge and I couldn’t be more happy with the whole place. 5 stars all around

Me and my friends did the alice in wonderland room had a blast actually beat the game only issue was when we were in the room we actually were missing a puzzle piece for the wall puzzle and wasted like over 20 minutes to try and solve other puzzles thinking it would be revealed to us or given to us after solving another one but no they just didn’t put the piece out on our game asked for extra time but was refused even though it was their fault. Other than that beat the game with a minute to spare

I purchased tickets for an escape room which the website said was still available. They are practicing social distancing and allowing bookings. The day of the booking I got a text saying it was cancelled and that I could reschedule for the following weekend. I was unable to do that because I was only in town for that weekend. I asked for a refund 3 times through email and messaging and never heard back. I had to file a claim through my bank to get the charge removed from my credit card. Sketchy business practices...use caution.

We went to the Jack the Ripper escape room last night to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday. She told me this was the most fun shes had in her 60 years. Rooms were well done and we actually escaped with 12 minutes to spare. Our host was Kate who was very helpful and helped us get through this ordeal while being funny and informative. This was our first escape room but because of the wonderful time we had, it will not be our last. Thank you Kate 4 an unforgettable experience.

Did jack the ripper room with my fiancee and friends and it was amazing, every second of it was great and had us working and interacting with each other, will eventually do the other rooms. Dill was awesome to us all and made it more suspenseful. Everyone loved it!

We did all three rooms. Jack, Alice, and Thai prison. Thai prison was the least complicated but still had a good continuity to it. Jack the Ripper was creepy but I wouldn’t say it scary, that was a little more challenging and at times confusing but still a good flow, just seemed like there wasn’t even puzzles in the room so a huge group might not get to enjoy the whole thing. Alice has amazing potential, very well thought out room great scenery, but the technology was failing a decent amount Of the time. If the room would’ve worked perfectly, it would’ve been absolutely amazing, but still had a fun time none the less. Shout out to Alex who was our Gamemaster for all three, we’ve done a lot of escape room and we agree Alex is one of the best gamer masters we’ve ever had. All in all 5/5 for experience and themes, 4/5 just due to the technical difficulties we experienced.

We did Escape Thai Prison last year and Jack the Ripper this week. We loved both experiences - so fun! Our Jack the Ripper Game Master, Kate, was really awesome. She set the scene for the room really well before we went in - was theatrical in her expression of the plot line. Also she was supportive while we were in the room. We had an awesome time. Everyone in our group has participated in Escape Rooms at other locations and this was our favorite experience thus far. The staff is very positive - from when you walk in, to when you leave and they want you to have a good time.

We did the Thai Prison escape room last night and it was so much fun.Our whole group really enjoyed it and we are still talking about it today.John, the staff member who we had was great. I would definitely recommend him to everyone. We are already planning our next visit todo the Alice in Wonderland. GREAT TIME!!!!

My girlfriend and I were visiting Philly on vacation and decided to try the Jack the ripper room. Our game master, Jian, was great! He was hilarious, and gave us clues only when needed, which were also appropriately theatrical. It was a hard room, but doable with 2 people. We also liked that they take walk-ins, which works perfectly for tourists like us looking for spontaneous fun activities. Finally we also liked that they allowed us to do it just on our own and didnt merge our group with other parties. We are definitely coming back next time were in Philly (and cant wait for them to open Escape Rooms in DC!!)

We did the Alice in Wonderland room. This room was immersive and had many different levels to the puzzles and clues. We are planning the go back and do the escape Thai Prison. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Hands down, just the best escape the room the Philadelphia.

This was an amazing escape room! Gil and Alex were hospitable, and fun. The Thailand prison escape was multiple rooms with many different puzzles to solve. This was so much fun to do with our group and we made it out in less than 50 minutes. When the room changes, we will definitely be back to solve the next mystery! Thanks for an unforgettable birthday experience!

I have done around 13 escape rooms in this area, including 2 from Mind Escape: Jack the Ripper and tonight we did Alice in Wonderland. Jack is my number two favorite room that Ive done only surpassed by Alice! The rooms are completely immersive and staff is so awesome. John ran our Alice room tonight and he was amazing! It was just so much fun. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Hands down, just the best!

Our family from 2 to 57 thoroughly enjoyed this experience and all departed wanting to do again !! We did the Thai prison/ private room because we had two children 5 and 2 and they were allowed to join us in this particular arrangement. Alex was extremely fun and kind in the pre information intro, during the event w clues etc, and afterwards. The establishment was super helpful and professional in arranging this event and called me back ASAP when I inquired for a very last minute time. I Highly recommend.

We loved Through the Looking Glass and much appreciated all of the (patiently given) hints from Queen Olivia! A lever on the bell puzzle didnt operate smoothly, which was frustrating, but not bad enough to take away a star. We didnt finish this one successfully, but it was still a blast.

Our group was a mix of first-timers and escape room veterans, and we all caught on on to the logic of the game very quickly. Our game master Kate was incredibly friendly and funny and, after providing the basic rules of the game, made sure to help us only when we really needed it. The first stage of the Jack the Ripper room could have been anxiety-inducing, but she ensured that each of us felt comfortable and safe going in.The room itself was immersive, clever, and challenging without feeling impossible; the few times we needed clues were obvious in retrospect. Some of the more physical puzzles are truly impressive.I was definitely an Escape the Room skeptic going in; Ive always adored the flash games that theyre based on but wasnt sure about how theyd translate in real life. MindEscape subverted all of my expectations and then some. Well definitely be back for more.

My boyfriend and I have wanted to try escape rooms for awhile. Our first experience was at MindEscape in the Thai Prison room. The game was set up so realistic with surprises and fun puzzles and made the experience better than we ever expected. Alexis was our game master, and she did an amazing job getting into the role and helping throughout the hour as needed. We did not make it out but shocked ourselves with how far we got. We have since done other escapes room in the area and this place was without a doubt our favorite so far. We will DEFINITELY be back to try another room at MindEscape! Highly recommended!!

OMG! My boyfriend and I are escape room fanatics! This was our 5 or 6th experience and first time at the mindescape venue. We did Thai prison and WHOA hands down one of my favorite experiences!!!!! It was sooooo cool, very engaging and put together. Unbelievable, I am still crunk and excited the next day! Deron was an exceptional fun and engaging escape master! We can tell these rooms were created by people who love and appreciate a real puzzle/escape room! I cant wait to return!

My wife, her best friend and I never tried an escape room before and thought it would be fun. We tried the Jack the Ripper room 2 days ago and it was really good. While we didn’t make it out (we were very close), it was still very fun and we decided to book again for the Alice in a Wonderland took yesterday. That one was considered the most difficult, but we had 15 extra minutes to figure it out and we were able to escape with 5 minutes to spare. I’m very bad with names, but the game master we had was the same woman both times and she was amazing. She definitely does her job well and made the experience great. All in all, we loved it and definitely recommend giving them a try.

Had two great evenings here this week with our gamemasters Jian and Olivia. The rooms were challenging but also very fun, so much so that we had to come back and do it again! Would highly recommend for both beginners and more seasoned players.

Both rooms were great, and the Thai Prison is one of our favorites that we’ve done so far! The rooms are very emmersive and are very challenging. The staff was great and our game masters Aaron and Alexis were awesome! We can’t wait for the Alive in Wonderland room to open!

My boyfriend and I tried the Jack the ripper room, and loved it so much, we ended up doing the Alice in Wonderland room as well. Jon was our game master for AIW, and Jian for Jack the ripper. Both were awesome! For both of us English is our second language, but that didnt make the rooms harder at all. Not to say they were easy (we needed 1 or 2 hints..), but made it out and had a blast. Will definitely come back whenever were in Philly.

Group of 10 went and we had a blast! Minor technical difficulties at the end but the staff is super cool and makes it really fun. We did the escape from Thailand prison since we had kids with us and they had fun too! They said they have a new room opening next month so we will be sure to check it out again.

Different kind of fun- 1st time in an Escape Room (or rooms in this case). Its well organized, and perfectly set up. We had 12 people, which was a lot, but it still worked out great. I dont want to say too much more, because too many hints would spoil the fun, and it was fun! If you havent done one, give this one a try.

Had so much fun escaping Jack the Ripper. It’s definitely a lil difficult, but Thaddeus made it so much fun! The clues provided the help we needed to move forward and escape! I look forward to coming back and trying out the different rooms.

Such a fun place! If you like challenging puzzles i would definitly suggest going here. These maps really get your brain going when it comes to figuring out the puzzles.

We did the Thai Prison escape for my birthday weekend and had a BALL! Dill, our game instructor was awesome. We had a large group of first timers. The room was so creative...cant wait to do Jack the Ripper!

This was so unexpectedly fun!! such a perfect way to work together as a family! my husband and i and 2 teenage sons escaped from thai prison with only 29 seconds left before we would have been delivered a most terrifying sentence:). our game master, aaron, was encouraging and helpful, in a way that prevented us from feeling like we’d “cheated” when we asked for a clue. we can’t wait to go back and escape from a new adventure!

The Jack the Ripper room at MindEscape was awesome. I have done about 6 escape rooms and I have to say this one used some fun and interesting puzzles that I didnt see coming. They have a higher pass rate than I am used to (theirs is around 75%, the ones I typically do have a 30-40%) but it was perfect for my parents first time and for 3 people.

The prison escape room was awesome!! We decided to dress up in the orange jump suits they have. Cameron the game master was great too!!! I suggest definitely doing the room with more then two people lol my bf and I had a hard, but very fun time.

You get your moneys worth with this elaborate escape room (Escape Thai Prison). All the escape rooms that I have done previously, were escaping only a single room - but with this escape room, there are 3 rooms. I definitely recommend larger groups as this escape room keeps you on your toes. One of the nice things about this escape room venue was that once an object is used, it is not used again; not all escape rooms are quite so forward and it can cause quite the confusion when maneuvering your escape. The host was very kind and helpful and offered clues when we got stuck. I would definitely go back to attempt the room we did not experience (Jack the Ripper).

This place is awesome. Rooms are well put together and elaborate. Puzzles really test you and the GMs are always available for assistance when needed. Ive finished two of their rooms (Jack the ripper, Thai prison) and absolutely loved them both. Great way to spend an hour with friends and really test your problem solving!

Unlike any other escape room Ive done! Very interactive and entertaining. Not a lot of puzzles, because its more about the physical escaping of the room. Isabella was the perfect clue master. Cant wait to come back and play their Jack the Ripper room!

This was my first time trying an escape room and it was a great time. Mindescapes Escape Jack the Ripper was a completely immersive experience, filled with challenging clues and puzzles in a spooky, but not scary, setting. I went with three family members and a close friend, all of whom love brain teasers and the like, and we had to really work to solve the room. A completely enjoyable (and not at all easy) hour.

This escape room is different from money as teamwork is def more important here. Atmosphere is perfect as well.

This was our first time ever at an escape room and we were not disappointed. The staff accommodated us even though we were walk-ins and we had the room all to ourselves! Jack- the Ripper was SO much fun. Great experience, even better staff! Big Ups :)

Small and hard to solve

I took my management team here for a team building retreat and it was great! This was our second time here and it was not a dispointment. This time we did Jack the Ripper and it took a lot of team work to solve, great experience for a working outing or just for fun. The staff was great and took really great care of us. This place was not a disappointment.
