This hike is a good one to hike if you like nature and rough trail. The road to it is paved and its grovel as well. It is next to the Verde River and you can fish on walk around the verde River.

I have visited this Trailhead four times now its a little out of the way from Payson and very cool to sleep in at night time no facilities but an area you can park and go hiking for a couple days and come back and nothings happened to your vehicle.

Fun place to trail ride the Polaris RZR. Found a spot where the trail crosses a creek, with shade and a place to have lunch.

Scenic riparian area. Access to the wilderness area.
