Beautiful hike, chance to see some snow in the winter, the trail crosses the creek, prepare accordingly
It was absolutely wonderful there! Peaceful, cool and clean. Kudos to the public using it and packing their trash out.
This trail never disappoints. Even in August it was green and beautiful! Dog and kid friendly, yet if youre feeling it, you can really get a good workout! Bring a little lunch, shut off your phone and just be for a while
Enjoyable trail that follows the creek. Lots of nice shaded areas and peaceful sound of water to enjoy.
Fantastic hike ... more than 8 miles. Steep towards the top, beautiful.
Its dangerous but fun to get of the electronics
This place is so clean and serene, my favorite getaway by far!
One of the best places to view fall colours in Arizona!
Cool retreat from the heat. The beauty of nature surrounds you. Gurgling stream, forest fragrances, butterflies and birds, amazing flowers. Enough said.
Beautiful views. No wild life though. Something has the creatures spooked in the first 4.0 miles
I got lost soni didnt see the springs. But beautiful area.
Fun hike, with beautiful forest and small stream.
Beautiful place.
Love visiting this place.
Just a beautiful nature, love camping here and also making daily trips just to hike to the top of the rim, very quiet, nice creek and tall pine trees,
Absolutely beautiful Fall leaves, clear running creek! Very clean!
Fun trail. Accessible without 4x4.
Went to Christopher Creek and this trail two days to hike. I really enjoyed the trail and all the beginning of the falls colors. It was kinda cold so I wished I bought a warmer coat. But that being said it was peaceful and quiet like I had the whole forest and trail to myself. I took a whole lot of fall pictures on this trail. The way to this trail is mostly dirt road except for the road from Christopher Creek lead to this dirt road. So I recommended you be careful after it has rained because there will be lots of mud and lots of holes on the dirt road. I recommend this trail to anybody who enjoys nature and like to take pictures of nature. It was one of the best I been for fall colors and to take fall pictures.
So beautiful! And not real hard to get to a beautiful area.
Its a long, hard, uphill hike. But it is totally worth it for the waterfall at the end!
Hike back about a mile, and youll have a very nice babbling brook shady spot to just chill or have lunch.
Moderate trail and short so its an easy do. The spring is small but nice and cold. Nice to get 1500 year old water. Many spots to sit.
Just beautiful and quiet
Hike here twice a month.
Best in the red leaves of fall time
Love this place!
Very beautiful spot. Great place to get out of the heat. Lots of scenery, last time I was there I saw a deer by the water.
This is a great place to enjoycooler temps in the fall. Color display in October is fantastic
One of my favorite hikes, especially in the fall!
Absolutely scenic and BEAUTIFUL hike. Lots of greenery, birds chirping, stream babbling, and trails well marked. Difficult to get to trailhead though, roughly a one mile, very bumpy, narrow dirt road to get there off of highway. It is so narrow in some points only one car can pass, worth the hassle though. There is cell service in this area, which is good.
Absolutely serene! The drive up was fairly easy and the trail itself was an adventure!
Phoenix Varmint Callers Hunt Club help maintain the trail for all to use..
Trail head is nice, great views looking at Christopher Creek. However people need to have more respect and handle their garbage
Beautiful if my memory serves me well.
This spot is great for riding (ATVs, dirtbikes, etc...) or hiking. The views are so picturesque and air so clean. I didnt see any wildlife which seemed a little strange because the conditions were so perfect for it. Also, it was never crowded with people. Occasionally you will see a couple or a family enjoying this location too, but for the most part you feel like you and your company are the only explorers ;).
The water was fresh and kids loved it!
Great area, get in early....I would like top explore it more
The small trail stops at the creek side. It is a beautiful open spot with the river running and places to have a picnic. Absolutely wonderful.
Nice trail and well kept
Great hike!
Smell of the pines, flowing water, wind whispering through the trees.
Beautiful spot!
Great hike! The first half is easy and the second half gets harder the closer you get to the top of the rim. We will be hiking this trail again!
Gorgeous place!!
Nice rushing river!
Such a beautiful place to hike, explore, and be outdoors. Gorgeous!
Great hike near Christopher Creek!
Loved it - great hiking and scenery
A beautiful spot to set up a tent along the creek and fall asleep to the sound of rushing water.
Parts of singletrack not maintained
Good hiking near water.
Gods country
Tranquil
Starting to get crowded
Love it
