Positive: Everything Negative: Hot tub under construction

Room was very nice except for a couple things..we hope the kitchen table will be replaced...the rest of the room was refurbished. Mattress needs replaced..other than that very nice. Lot of room for a Studio room. All rooms have nice balconies overlooking the ocean.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. The location was great! The only irritant was there were 3 groups of people who would be at the pool all day (7am - till pool closing), saved multiple chairs (all the ones with umbrellas) for their friends/family who may or may not show up. The Mavericks policy was this was not allowed however, nothing was done. Other than that Id stay again!

Staying 7 nights in a studio condo. Nicely renovated. Clean. Attentive from desk staff. Great swimming pool and deck area overlooking the ocean. All rooms front the Atlantic.

I have stayed here several times and I am never disappointed. This vacancy came up late and I jumped on it. Location is great! Room had the aroma of cleanliness which is reassuring in these times. Bathroom is always clean. I love that most every room has an oceanfront balcony. The only drawback is the 10:00 check-out, but they let you use the facilities all day. I always try to stay here.

The Maverick Resort is absolutely wonderful! An Excellent location with beach access and walking distance to dining and Pirates Cove miniature golf. The staff was wonderful, friendly and accomodating. My room was cleaned nicely had everything I could need including a nice small kitchen area. The bed was extremely comfortable. I love that the rooms have balconies with beach views. I cant wait to come back!

Id stay here every time I was in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area. The ocean view was incredible!! Everyone was fantastic and went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay. Nice place with a beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was all friendly and kind. The only down side was the cable connection in the living room area was not working. Management did try to fix it. Other than that no complaints.

Nice clean place HUGE POOL. Our shower pressure wasnt great but other people didnt have the same problem so may be isolated. Had movie night and karaoke. Great visit

Resort is in the process of being remodeled in certain areas. However, it does not take away from the tranquility of the stay. Nice, clean resort; with friendly staff. This is my second time staying and will stay again.

Couldnt ask for a better location. Hotel is right of the beach and all rooms have a balcony overlooking the ocean (and the parking lot ). Overall its a nice place, but this is not a resort. They have a pool in the back and thats about it. I think they also know its not a resort since they dont even trying to charge a resort fee. Its a great place for a family vacation. The is no restaurants nor bar in the hotel, but its ok because youre close to everything. If I was to go back to Ormond beach I would definitely go back to the Maverick.

Great staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Found hairs on clean fresh towels. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner.

My family has had a room at the Maverick since the60s so ive been there at least a dozen times!!!! Always a thrill and always clean and the staff is smiling and helpful. Looking forward to see them all again soon!!!!!! Special thanks to Valerie, front desk and Cory.

We are headed home from our girls trip with sunshine in our hearts. The Maverick, yet small, was clean and neat. Our studio room looked to have been recently remodeled. Few amenities, but when you have the ocean do you really need any? All rooms are oceanfront. we would most definitely go back.

Adequate accommodations for a stay at the beach. No hot tub and no restaurant. Comfortable pool and lots of beach.

Positive: Loved the location and view. Really liked that there was a accordion like divider so there was some privacy if you have a child on the sofa bed. Negative: When you changed the TV channel in bedroom, it also changed the channel for the TV in living area. Parking fills up quickly and then you have to park across the street and cross a busy street.

Nice great rooms. Clean, been nice to have the doors and elevator working. Especially when you are handicapped. Friendly staff.

It was a very nice and clean room. The views were great and everything was neat and tidy. There were a lot of amenities that I didnt expect also like plates, bowls, cups, etc. Bed and couch were comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean, kitchenette fully stocked with dishwear. AC had a hard time keeping the humidity down, slept uncovered at night. Pool was lovely and oroximity to beach was great. Pool lounge chairs were not clean though. Elevators did not work part time, had to walk 5 flights. Staff was efficient and friendly and professional. Rooms are not cleaned due to COVID so be aware that you will need to do your own towel exchange and put trash outside the door (which was quickly picked up).

They were very accommodating when I asked if we could have a later check out time. The hotel room was even better than the photos. Everyone on staff was very friendly which I really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was AMAZING. We stayed in the Caribbean on the 7th floor. Best view in the place. It was clean, comfy and convenient. If I had to say anything I didn’t like, it would have to be how slow the elevator was. Lol but they are remodeling so it’s expected lol. They have an on-site office center which also allowed you to use their print to print out our race tickets.. friendly staff. We loved everything about it ... we did not want to leave :) Overall my husband and I were EXTREMELY pleased with the place and will be back in August 2020 for another stay :)

No restaurant yet. Just fyi.Check in was not my favorite. She said shed call when our room was ready. Didnt receive a call. After 4:10 pm I walked in and asked a different desk person if our room was ready. She said yes. Gave me anxiety.

My family has been owners here for over thirty years, lots of changes in that time but now, its absolutely beautiful since the remodel.

Great views! The rooms are newly renovated. Each studio room has a pull out couch. Each room has a balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool is heated. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. The price is great. Right now they are having a great promotion on ownership as well. No activities when I stayed, but it might have been the off-season. Convenient location on A1A.

What an awesome timeshare for a two-week vacation, great place friendly people. A great place to get away. Cant wait for next year to get here again!!!!!!

This is a great place to enjoy the beautiful Daytona/Ormond beach while at the same time avoid the crowds. The rooms are small but well kept and extremely clean. Mini kitchen with full refrigerator and built-in electric cooktop with two burners. Good quality sofa bed. All balconies face to the beach. Very nice pool and pool area. Easy parking. Just minutes from Daytona beach. Excellent customer service. Espectacular sunrises. Awesome!

Our week stay was fabulous February 23- March 2. Our timeshare is with RCI, we stayed in room 517. We overlooked the pool area. We enjoyed our stay!

JUST AMAZING!!! Staff and people are super nice. The resort is on the beach and has a huge pool and jacuzzi. Close to shop and restaurant.

My girlfriend and i spent a week here and had a great time. The staff is very friendly and goes out of the way to help. The Maverick is in a great location. They also have daily activities for adults and kids alike. We will be coming back next year. Hopefully the restaurant will be up and running by then, if it is ill give it 5 stars !

Pleasant place...I wouldve given close to a five, but two items: 1. I had to perform an inventory check of all condo contents and report it to the front desk. Ive never had to do this in 30yrs of world travel. This is guest services job. 2. I extended for one day and room service was not advised. They attempted to enter my room twice for cleaning on the extended day. I advised management of both items and I hope theyve corrected it.

I love the room and the location I love the beach and water just made me relax and sleep well

Every thing was fine but I was eating out by the pool and happened to accidentally leave my AirPods and I was tracking them and they seem to be stolen to this day they are still moving around on find my iPhone

They told me before hand the jacuzzi was open, and when I got there it was closed due to “Covid”Then the bathrooms stink, they just don’t measure up to what they use to!

Restaurant no longer exists, however we love staying at The Maverick. Weve been coming back for 7 years and we own here. Rooms have everything you need and you cant beat the view!

Great location. Easy free parking. Very clean. Bed was very comfy. We stayed in studio room 418. The only problems were no soap, no bag for ice bucket, no plastic cups, no creamer / sugar packets and there were old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Other than those issues, it was great and the staff were very accommodating.

I have been coming to the Maverick Resort and Resaurant for 20 years. I absolutely love this place. Last I knew it has the largest pool on the water in Ormond. The location is great because the Daytona pier is only about 10 minutes south. There are several options as far as room sizes go but even the smallest is more than able to sleep 4 people comfortably.

We love the nice rooms with living area and kitchen area. The only problem was that due to construction the heater in the pool was not working.

Property location very nice...all rooms direct oceanfront. Plenty of parking. Beach beautiful, pool area nice. The facility is older (as are most) but pretty well maintained and quiet. Theres no food service available but there are many options in the area even within walking-distance.On the negative side, its a hotel room, as are most in the area, though they are referred to as suites or apartments. Yes, they have kitchenettes, but are sparsely equipped and this unit had no hangers and no blankets. You cannot see the wall-mounted TV from the bed area and the bathroom sink is public with no door, with the toilet and tub enclosed in the bath room. Overall, a pretty basic, fairly small studio-style hotel unit. No luxury here, but clean, safe, very well located and relatively inexpensive for direct oceanfront.

This was a nice place to stay. The property is right on the beach. Each unit has its own view of the ocean. They are still renovating, but it didnt get in the way. I understand they are working on adding a tiki bar and karaoke night was so much fun! The pool and hot tub are a must, along with a visit to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Maverick. Location is amazing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were bright and new. We will be back again.

We arrived on Saturday nite our bedding was dirty . Then Sunday morning we were going to enjoy the pool but found out the heater wasn’t working. They then told us it would be fixed on Tuesday but it wasn’t then told us Friday . But we talked to a couple here too and the front desk told them not till next week !!!! We really enjoy staying here at the Maverick but we have a time share so we pay for maintenance fees to keep this place going ..

All rooms have view of the ocean, rooms are clean and roomy. Family oriented resort.They do ask you to do an inventory of all items in room which is very tedious. And currently no fitness center. However I was told one will be available Aug 2019. Will definitely stay there again.

Our room was stated to have a mini kitchen but ours had a full size fridge, two burner smooth top stove, full size sink, full size coffee maker, large microwave and a full set of cookware along with four place table settings. Definitely want to come back!

Honestly, this is one of the best hotels on beach side! Great spacious rooms, private balcony(that has an amazing view of the ocean) and great friendly staff! Will definitely be staying here again :)

It was a nice hotel with great views of the beach. The pool is a nice size that is heated. They have a jacuzzi and a small kiddie pool. The room had a kitchenette, sleeper sofa and a nice bed. Great place to stay for a getaway.

Heather checked us in and was super friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony is awesome. The room was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled. I would definitely come back.

We had a nice time staying here over Thanksgiving 2018 for the Turkey Run Car Show. Our room and everything looked newly refurbished. It was nice! We had a relaxing vacation and spent most of the time sitting at that table by the pool. There is also a hot tub and a fire pit which was very nice ! We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Duffs Buffet and it was very good!! The staff was friendly and very helpful but we didnt need much.
