Stayed in a studio with my wife and son for a week and we enjoyed our time here. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help. We requested pack n play soon arrival and it was in the room by the time we got upstairs and packed in a black plastic bag indicating it had been thoroughly sanitized which was appreciated. Our room had a Murphy bed and a fold out couch along with a curtain room divider. The murphy bed relatively comfortable but the fold out couch was pretty firm and I wouldn’t try to sleep on it for a week. The rest of the room was smallish for a couple with a one year old child but had it just been me and my wife the size would have been adequate. The room was clean and well maintained but the building overall felt a little on the old side. You have a view of the ocean but no balcony as the entry-way is on the ocean facing side which was a little unfortunate because you can’t just open the room up to the ocean without people walking by or your baby running out. The pool was nice and offers a view of the ocean.

The view from the widow of the room is wonderful. The positioning of the Resort to the beach is excellent. Its not over crowded on this end of the beach. The problem I had was i checked in on Saturday and I was so cold that night that I went and asked for additional blanket the next day. I was told I couldnt get it until Monday when they do exchange. I had met the head housekeeper Anita when I checked in and she told me if I needed anything to ask for her. Well I called and asked for her and she was out but, they asked me what I needed and they got my blanket. We had also asked for clean towels and was told Mondays and Thursdays. I was okay with this but, its 3 of us in the room and they only have 3 sets of towels. So, we are susposed to use the same towels for days. Most resorts give you at least a couple of days worth of towels to last till towel exchange day. Not so here. With this Covid stuff when I come in I want to shower with clean towels daily. However, i found out that they have a laundry room on the 2nd floor and the facility is free of charge. That was great because i went bought laundry detergent and washed my own towels which solved my problem. Another thing is the picture in the room. It has a fly trapped in the picture frame and you would think they would remove the picture or least open it and get the bug out. This made the room feel kind of dirty for I was wondering if there was other bugs. It was creepy waking up to this bug on the wall daily. See picture. Again, it has its perks. I might be inclined to give it a 3.5. Oh, the electrical plugs dont work. We had a time finding a plus that actually worked to charge our phones and tablets.

My husband and I loved our stay, very pleasant place... the maintenance guys where amazing. We are going back soon!

Road from Ohio and denied us the ability to check in without a mask. Didnt offer a outside option or nothing. They just told us to go buy one.Second complaint they crammed all the bikes into two little bit even parking spots. Each room deserves a parking spot or a larger bike parking area.

We just spent a couple of nights here. We had a wonderful stay right on the beach. We loved Denise at check-in. She is super sweet and helpful. We had a small unit with a Murphy bed which is all we needed for 2 of us. Wonderful ocean view. Sure can’t beat the sunrise her either. We will definitely stay here again.

I have a time share and was very devastated that they put us in this hotel. I was told I would have a sweet facing the ocean with my own balcony. I was very disappointed in how outdated the rooms were and no view in the hotel room unless you wanted to look at the hotel close by. I will never visit this hotel ever and I mean ever and RCI will hear it from me when I return home. Im sorry but this hotel dose not deserve will not doesnt desdeserve even one star from me

I have been going to outrigger pretty much my whole life and it is always my absolute favorite place to go every year when our week comes around I get so excited! The workers are amazing and sweet and are willing to help you with anything you need. The view of the beach is absolutely wonderful and their pool is always clean and perfectly tempered. It is just ten minutes away from the board walk and right across from a hospital so if you get hurt you are very close to help! I recommend them to anyone who asks!

This was a first time visit for my wife and myself to Outrigger Beach Club in OrmondBeach Florida., and, we will definitely be there again. It left nothing to ask for, and to not receive a favorable response. One word sums it all up! GREAT!.....Totally clean accommodations, and great staff.I suppose that we could have asked for a bit more sunshine, but....this is Florida.. This is all which I am telling.....You will just have to go and see for yourself!

Not a five star resort. But the staff makes sure that you feel like you are staying at one. We have a unit on the end of the building and thoroughly love the beach view and optics. The place is always immaculate, the pools crystal clear and warm. Security throughout the night helps you sleep a little more soundly. You have access to grocery stores and too numerous to choose from restaurants. From $$$$ to casual dining. Its always a good stay and we dont see ourselves stopping.

Good Motel use our timeshare. All staff was friendly owner or manager was really friendly room was a good size had a kitchen bar nice bedroom right on the beach parking lot is a little small but had plenty of parking for us also had some on the side

Friendly staff. Great views. Beach! Pool! BBQ grill.Listen folks, if you regularly stay at the Ritz Carlton, you might not like it here. But the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and its as close to beach living youre gonna get for a week at a time.

Its not the most luxurious spot on the beach but its as clean and well run as any you will find. Our room was nicely updated and had a gorgeous view of the ocean. Pool and hot tub were meticulously cleaned. Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The only slight negative of the whole week was our mattress, but it was a Murphy bed, so what can you expect? We would definitely stay here again!

We just spent Biketoberfest at this resort. Enjoyed our stay. People are nice and liked the security for the bike. Rm 409 was good. The ceiling fan is busted. Could have used it because it was warm. I will stay again.

Everything was nice and convenient. I liked that there was a grilling area next to the pool!

All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The studio condo was set up nicely with a full kitchen to utilize. The pool and sitting areas always had room and everything was taken care off well. The views out the front windows was amazing! Within walking distance of many stores and restaurants. We liked the quiter atmosphere away from Daytona.

Super clean and spacious with all amenities. Pool was super nice with hot tub, grill, and baby pool. And easy, safe access to beach. Everyone was super friendly, professional, and accommodating. I felt like I was staying at a hotel I shouldve paid a lot more money for!

Check in and out was quick and easy. Brad at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Great customer service. Surrounding area was easy to manage and drive around. Felt safe with night time security patrols and cameras around the facility. Parking was easy. Room was nice and neat. No bedbugs. Wifi and cable tv was good. Adequate hot water. Sink and tub drained well. Kitchen sink was slow draining. Dishwasher was a bit tricky to load dishes. Had to find the right combo and placement. A/c was good. The beds were quite firm, but pillows were good. Beach and pool access was very good. You can walk to and from your room with ease. The room in general could use a renovation/makeover, but that aspect was minor. Overall, a super terrific stay and we would definitely return if we are in the area again.

We come every year for a timeshare with our family! This place is the BEST! From the front desk staff to all the maintenance crew and security, you really could not ask for more! The property is so well maintained and the location is just beyond gorgeous!!

Not pleased. We booked through our time share (bluegreen) and were not informed that the only beds were a pull out love seat and a hide away full sized bed. (both were extremely uncomfortable.) The room was very small especially with beds pulled out. The rooms are all technically beachfront but there was no balcony. Just the front door entrance facing the beach. But if you have curtains open to enjoy the view everyone who walks by will be looking in at you. The only place to hang clothes was in a cleaning closet. Although they seemed very strict with their fines for not following cleaning & hotel rules we noticed a few cleaning look overs when we first got into our room. One example being the coffee pot had old coffee grounds in the filter, looked like it had been there for quite a while. Over all the staff was friendly at check in and check out. (Luckily we didnt misplace our key cards or we would have been charged $5 per missing card) The room quality was very disappointing. Especially compared to the usual BlueGreen hotels we usually stay at.We made the best of it this vacay and had a good time but definitely will not stay here again.

Small rooms. Initial challenges in check in quickly overcome by the hospitality of James and Bill. Security personnel very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but they work very hard to keep this property in top shape. Only suggestion would be to work and make sure the office staff are as committed to their guest experience as the above mentioned people. We will return

I stayed in an efficiency which is barely enough room for 2 ppl. The rooms were outdated and the beach if you can call it that is the least appealing in all of fl. I booked 7 nights and only stayed for 2. Come to find out they charged me a $75 cleaning fee on top of it. Absolute crooks. We left the room in fair condition by no means did it constitute or justify a cleaning fee. This has never happened to us before. Would never stay here ever again and also leaving a review on rci comment card.

Right on the beach. It is a smaller resort, the staff were friendly and informative. There were things to do and several restaurants within walking distance.

Denise is an incredible front receptionist! Shes real and honest. Rooms are simple but very nice and a comfortable space to be. Bed is comfy and sleeps very well.

We had a wonderful, but short stay here. The room was exactly as presented to us on hotels.com. Denise who works the front desk is awesome, very personable, knowlegable and fun! Excellent location to watch a beautiful sunrise too. We definitely will stay here again!

This is our second stay at Outriggers. It has a small rooms with murphy beds and kitchen, but being directly on the beach with awesome views from every room, large swimming pool, a 1ft deep kiddie pool, and a hot tub make it worth the smaller room size. The staff is all very friendly, helpful and overall awesome. We hope to stay there again in the future.

I was looking forward to sitting out on my balcony and watching the waves in quiet.!i could not do that because there was a PARKING LOT in front of me. The place is extremely dated and run down. We are not able to get into our room until after 5, even though we had a 4:00 check in. I will not be returning and advise everyone to go on to the next hotel on your list.

The rooms were nice and clean.The pool area was also very well maintained and always plenty of chairs available. But by far what made this an excellent place for our vacation was the staff!Everyone of them were so nice and friendly all the time! I must give a big shout out to Brad who went above and beyond anticipating our needs at every turn!Tim was also awesome! Job well done!

Fantastic Resort!

We have stayed at 90% of the resorts in FL, and many in other states (MA, MD, VA, SC, GA)... this is by far the worst room we’ve had, even compared to the cheap motels we stayed at over a decade ago before joining BG. I can’t actually believe BlueGreen Vacations is ok offering this place to their customers. The only decent thing about this place is the location. We are definitely never coming back to this one!

Just got home from a week at Outrigger Beach Club. This is an older building that they have done a great job renovating it. All the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. Also, its in Ormond Beach, yet so close to the Daytona action. The experience was 100% super !

Definitely old school.. Like stepping back into the 70s, but its right on the beach and a great Location.. Plus you have kitchen, etc..

Nice pool area and right on beach but condo is a little dated. Missing a closet door in our room....which isnt that big of a deal but also could have easily been fixed before we checked in. Only offers 1 bedroom condo options which is tough with kids since the only bathroom is in the bedroom. Nice, friendly staff!

Liked the fact it was on the beach, had a hot tub and pool.

We have owned for 10 years and this place is great for the money. Very close to Daytona and flagler beach. Sits right on the beach, all rooms face the Atlantic and the pool is right next to the beach. They have cookouts every week. Very family friendly

Staff is great! On Tues. They cook hot dogs for the resort. Everyone is very helpful and nice. Even though we had a Murphy bed the mattress is quite comfortable.

Bill is the best timeshare manager I have ever met. I want to sell my timeshare in Ormond Beach and buy one here because of him. The staff is very nice, the rooms are very clean. I love this place.

Rooms are decent with queen bed and kitchenette. Management wont let people into patio area until 8 am, which takes away from East coast sunrise.

Clean, well staffed,courteous crew all the amenities of a larger place. Rooms are old and in need of refurbishment but clean and ready for our stay. I will recommend to RCI as satisfied with this placement.

Beautiful & clean beach. Loved the friendly staff. Resort has a pool, hot tub was clean and not crowded even over the Labor Day weekend. Efficiency room well stocked with every essential..great experience overall. Free laundry on the premises.

Everything advertised and more. Clean well appointed units. All have ocean view. Staff bent over backwards to make the stay enjoyable. Quiet beach with easy access to everything that Daytona Beach has to offer.

My mom stayed here on family vacations as a kid. I finally was able to get a room. Totally worth it. Its a great combination of classic old school Florida (The building, inside and out, the décor, the Murphy bed) and modern comforts (flat TV, nice kitchen amenities, great hot tub and pool). If I can swing it, Ill stay here on every visit.

Spent a few days here at this rather rundown somewhat seedy resort. It has seen better days and is badly in need of renovation. Apart from a pool/bbq/shuffleboard area and access to the beach the resort has little to offer. No rec area, no lounge, no clubhouse, no spa. The rooms are poky and the air conditioning blasts across the kitchen every few minutes. When I arrived there was no curtain liner in our room so people could see in during the day. I eventually talked them into taking one from an unoccupied room. Management staff were rather unhelpful.

Owner week 33. Love it peaceful, security present, staff pleasant, 2 years prior staff changes and room house keepers, were rude, had very bad attitudes, 3-4 congregating in one room and not being efficient with their time. This year with new changes was a breath of fresh air. To employees, job well done this year. Keep up the good work.

The location is perfectly situated on the beach with incredible views from each room. The rooms arent large but theyre perfect for 2-4 people amd are very well kept. Theres also a nice pool deck with grills, a spa, and tables with umbrellas. The experience was made better by the extremely accommodating staff, whatever you need theyre there until 10 pm.

We own several weeks at this location. We have three small children and a Nana who come with us each year. The facility is clean and comfortable. The accommodations include friendly staff, a pool, kids pool, hot tub, several grills, and rooms that are spacious and cold! If youre looking for a get-a-way thats nice and simple but close to EVERYTHING, this is the place for you! Well worth the price...

Friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub, rooms are kind of small. We were in a room designed for six people, but was very cramped even for just my husband, myself and our two children (12 and 9). Is in a good location in Ormond Beach.

The Outrigger offers a clean pool and a hot tub. Also very great staff. Would come back again.

Ive been coming to this timeshare since 1982, same week, same place. The parking situation is terrible and its the Outriggers responsibility to fix it!!!!! They expect for a family of 6 with a baby and a young child to bring ONE car and to fit all of their necessities in that ONE car!!!! They will tow your car the first night youre there if you park in the wrong spot! $190 later our vacation was ruined! Volusia towing was called and they promptly towed my car!!! ABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST TOWING COMPANY EVER!!! Not to mention the strong smell of weed in their office. Also, bring your own bleach wipes because the cleaning service is terrible!!! Dont expect to go into a clean room because its disgusting and they dont care!!!! For the first time ever, our family will consider switching to another establishment for our week next year!!Dont waste your time or your money here. I suggest going to an establishment that appreciates its guests, and their Timeshare owners!!!

Very accommodating staff and a nice clean resort

Honestly, this was probably one of the worst experiences weve had from a Hotels.com booking. The room was tiny, Im not sure how they can legally allow 4 people to stay in such a small room with the way the beds have to open up to accommodate them. I am quite sure the local fire chief is not aware how the rooms are laid out when the beds are open. The worst part other than size were the people that decided to smoke outside our room, we couldnt walk in or out without the smell of cigarettes getting in to our room, we couldnt leave the door open to let fresh air in. When I mentioned something to the front desk whatever was said to the people caused them to have a party at their room that night, 6-8 people all standing out front smoking and drinking. It was not worth ruining the rest of our vacation over so we found another hotel and moved the next day. Unfortunately we were out the money we had already paid for the rest of our stay (3 more nights) The Oceanview from our room required us to stand at one end of the room to see past the stairs. The room needs a lot of updating and a thorough cleaning, Most of the staff were pleasant but we were disappointed at how the smoking situation was handled. We strongly discourage others from wasting their money on this one!

The front desk, attendants and even guest are all nice. A bit of an older crowd so it was very quiet. Nice location slightly dated property from outside but mostly updated inside. These are condos so no changing rooms...our room had a Murphy bed and was...moderately comfortable.

Great view of the ocean and great pool and pool deck overlooking the ocean. Friendly folks, small, dated rooms, but again, that view! Every room faces the beach.

This trip was my twins first time to Florida and they enjoyed it. The location was good with not overcrowding of beach. The location was perfect for us. The only thing I might change was two bathrooms. One bathroom for five people was not really enough.

Very nice hotel. Has a heated pool and hot tub. Even a kiddie pool for the little ones. The rooms are nice and they even came with bath and body works soaps and lotions! It has fully stocked kitchen and even a full size fridge. Not to mention a second couch day bed and a flat screen. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended.

Awesome place to visit and go on the beach for a walk.

This hotel allows people to smoke anywhere even though they say only outside their own rooms. Anywhere you walk smells of cigarettes and the hotel needs updating badly.

Great new management and very friendly staff. Good activities coordinator but they should encourage people to do more of the activities. Maintenance was efficient and quick to respond to problems.

The manager here is terrible. Me and my two friends were out by the pool and we didn’t know you can’t smoke on the edge of the pool because there is nothing that says you can’t. Well he came over to us and told us we can’t do that which was fine. We were in the process of getting out and he was still talking so my friend was listening to was he was saying before he got out, the manager kicked his hand to knock the cigarette out of it and said my friend was moving too slow for him. So if you want to stay at a place where management actually cares about their guests, don’t stay here.

Rooms are like a closet! Will never stay here again! They send you a picture of a great room and you end up in a closet! Great staff but crappy ownership!

The staff here is wonderful. They really care about their visitors. My sister and I have mobility issues. When the staff saw us attempting to load /unload our vehicle, they jumped right in and did it for us. Even the resort manager helped us.

We’ve been coming here for over 20 years. It’s a great lil get away spot for the summer. The rooms are clean and the staff is always helpful, sweet & friendly. My only one major complaint is that their WiFi is pretty bad. As someone who works online, I have to go to other businesses to use their WiFi which is stronger and more reliable. Other than that, the way place is very relaxing, chill and fun. Very family friendly!
