Great place to get out of the heat and learn about nature. They typically have two different shows that alternate throughout the day.

The Lozier Giant Screen Theater is located in the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. We watched two feature films yesterday, Oceans 3D, and Superpower Dogs. Both were excellent, but our favorite was Superpower Dogs! This film features several dogs that save people from all kinds of disasters- these are some amazing dogs to be sure! The theater is very nice with a huge Imax Screen and very comfortable seating. Our admission was about $20.00 for an adult and child ticket. The concession stand had popcorn, candy, chips, pretzels and hotdogs. We had so much fun and if I lived in Omaha, Im sure I would visit often. Im not sure if you can ourchase tickets to the Theater without visiting the zoo or not. I highly recommend the Lozier Giant Screen Theater

Ive seen several films here as well as attending lecture series. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Theatre is clean and seats comfortable. Many good snacks to choose from to enjoy with your film.

Kids live it, always something informative for them to watch and cool off, always clean and good seating is always available

Great fun. Took my kids to watch the 3D film about nature in the backyard through the seasons. Excellent for family enjoyment. Kids loved it, and I had a good time, too. Fun to see close-ups of woodland wildlife and watch the detail of their antics.

Tickets are free if you are a member of the Henry Doorly zoo! It’s always clean friendly staff. Restrooms and concession stands! Attached to the zoo gift shop! Fun experience for all ages!

We love watching movies there and have seen more than I could count! The new 3D glasses are great and the 3D ocean movie was SPECTACULAR! It didnt feel like your typical slightly fuzzy 3D, but it was crystal clear and felt insanely real.

So youre at the zoo seeing all the cool stuff but want to sit down in AC for a bit? Giant screen 3D short movies are awesome! Heads up, pee before you go in and dont drink soda pop. Besides the fact that its really bad for you, you cant get back in if you leave to pee.

Outstanding! If you havent been there you need to. I went and seen a 3D movie and the sound system and the video was just fantastic. The seats are very plush and comfortable with drink holders. The facility is a must-

Cheapest concessions for a theater here lol but really the revamp they had made the experience much more pleasant. Gone are the stained nasty red seats and in is the new modern look with really comfortable chairs. Audio is definitely better and the picture is more clear as well. They did a good job, also make sure to show up early for your showing as they stop letting people in 5 min after the start time.

Its always a spot to stop and relax for the 45 min movies. Kids love going to see the latest movies. If you have a zoo membership its included so definitely worth it, especially on the hot days.

Free Imax with membership is awesome. Last show we saw about backyard nature in 3D was one of the best we have seen. Zoo treats are always expensive, but overall great addition to zoo experience, especially if you go on down hours like early in morning on a weekday when no one is there!

Amazing imax movies that are educational yet interesting. The super hero dog movie is worth the watch if your a pet lover. The seats are comfortable and the floor is always clean.

The staff is rude and they have had the same films as long as I can remember. If it was not free with Zoo memberships, and sometimes a good escape from the weather, no one would go there.

Great theater for the Henry Doorley zoo. Picture and sound quality is good. Comfortable seats. Shows are typically about 1hour.

We saw the Ocean 3D movie in the Lozier Imax - it was amazing and my daughter was sitting there in awe - great show and educational also! Best part is if you are a zoo member you get to see the movies for free - just make sure to get your tickets in advance and arrive at the theater with plenty of time to spare.

Ocean 3D was phenomenal! Well worth the time & price during your visit to the #1 zoo in America!!!

Popcorn is always amazing. Just like the actual movies the price of snacks are really high. Would recommend membership if you go often because you get free movies which is cool, otherwise its $6 per person. 2 and under do get in free tho

PHENOMENAL!! These movies are always amazing and we try to see whatever new ones come out. Plus they recently upgraded the theater and it is so much nicer. The zoo does such an amazing job keeping things at the top of their game!

We love going to these 45-minute movies at the zoo! If you have a Zoo membership the movies are free! The kids are always learning something new as well as the adults. They usually have a movie or two in 3D as well as one that is not in 3D. The screen is definitely a giant IMAX screen! And there are plenty of seats. They run the movies on the hour and rotate the 3 different movies that they offer. And its always a nice break from the weather outside, whether it is hot, cold or raining or just to rest your legs!

Inside the zoo, but always clean. Were patron members so imax is included. I probably wouldnt utilize this service if I had to pay for all the kids. The movies run between 30-40 minutes. The kids attention was held throughout the duration of the movie.

The IMAX itself is fantastic but choice in movies are poor. I just want too sit and watch a NATURE documentary not a car commercial or watch humans on their tablets tell me how important the environment is while a CGI bird fly across the screen.

As a zoo member and patron, I do wish new films would show more often, but the theater itself is very nice and always clean. Love that unlimited shows are included with membership! 3D shows are neat, but I always appreciate 2D for my 2yr old child to easily enjoy.

Not very organized, less than favorable staff, decent price compared to surrounding competitors. However, the movies and the theater itself are astounding.

Saw Oceans 3D. Some of those fish were almost hitting people in front of me. Well at 3D made them look that way.

I love the theater but I think to give the zoo more money coming in, they should have some regular PG movies at this theater. When its not Zoo time....after hours...I would come work....lol

The revamp of the theater is very nice. The seats are comfortable and the format change didnt affect the quality of the movie experience.

Great theater experience, comfortable seating and really cheap ticket prices! My only problem is that if you leave during the film, theres no readmittance allowed. Films are usually short, around 40 minutes, but the readmission rule can be inconvenient.

Loved the movie, only suggestion is to have signage of where the accessable area is instead of them going all the way into theater then having to go back out and the proper way.

This sunmer Ive been taking my nephews every other weekend. We love the zoo here! Theres never a dull moment. The food is a bit pricey but we can bring a backpack of snacks and Ive seen others with a cooler. We love animals and the zoo is huge. Lots to do.

We went to the zoo on May 14, 2016. What a disappointment!!!!! I grew up in Omaha and have always thought we had the most amazing and fun zoo around. This time there was construction EVERYWHERE. We wasted $30 on a train ride, and only saw the 2 oxen, prairie dogs, flamingos and some rare pelican. Really? The train used to be an awesome experience. Now all you see is construction. I understand renovations. New exhibits draws people in. I dont understand renovating all over and having multiple projects going all at once. Why cant one project be finished before another is started? I am glad we had been given a pass to get in, otherwise I would be completely pissed considering how much it costs to get in. Why cant a discounted rate be offered while so much construction is going on? If I had traveled far to come see the zoo I would be asking for a complete refund. Not to mention they are putting so much effort into new exhibits they have seemed to forget to maintain older ones. The lied jungle needed its glass cleaned. We kept having to lift the kids because the lower glass was too filthy to see out of. Aquarium glass in the jungle and other parts of the zoo was completely hard water stained or algae filled. Floor lighting in the Kingdom of the Night (which used to be a favorite of mine) was non-existent. I understand the minimal lighting down there, however at least when it first opened you could see the animals in a darkened environment, and knew where the path was. You cant even see the people in front of you anymore. Certain parts of paths all over the zoo presented trip hazards and were not marked. Many paths were way too narrow for the amount of traffic flow, especially when you add strollers or wagons. Its impossible to pass in many areas of the jungle and desert dome.I am sad to say that I have no desire to visit the zoo for an extremely long time. I will not recommend visiting the zoo to anyone until construction is minimal, and the cost equals the experience.

I loved the zoo! They have so many amazing animals and many attractions for all to enjoy! If you are planning on going to Omaha then this is a great place to visit!

Great theater to watch movies.

Made it to the end with granddaughter for the first time! Third time is a charm....

If you visit the zoo frequently you dont get much variety in the shows that they offer. But it is a nice experience for the ones they do have. I like the one in Des Moines Science Center of Iowa better, but thats mainly due to seeing shows that arent presented here and the pre-show demo is very cool there.
