We went to see the dead dont die in the main theatre at 7pm, but the bulb in the projector broke. They decided to have an additional showing in the micro theatre at 9:30, but many werent happy. They gave us the option to refund our tickets too. Although the mishap happened, I love what the place stands for and supporting art. Very cute place too.
Wonderful place, great employees who make your experience their a treat. The movies are absolutely awesome, I enjoy getting to watch the fun, unique movies that come to this theater. I hope this place is around for a very very long time
Great space. Friendly, helpful staff and volunteers. Interesting choices of films. Ample free parking!!!
Tiny but cute theater. Great movie about mushrooms
If you are into film as an art form then this is the theater for you. Some of the best movies that not about just making money come to the Film Streams big screen. Just an all around cool place to hang out and catch a movie.
Awesome, cheap movies youve never heard of. If you become a member you get access to cheaper tickets and food, as well as cool social events
I havent been to this theater in over a decade and WOW was I impressed! Very modern but yet nostalgic. The last movie I saw here was A Christmas Story when they brought it back for the holidays many years ago and was sad when I heard it had closed no too long after that. So glad the theater lives on! Loved it!
The Dundee Theater is a beautiful restored landmark thats stands as a reminder of a golden age of film, while also being a focal point for the preservation of film and its art. I was elated to find plush, blue velvet seats, and ornate finishes throughout, but more thoroughly impressed by the quality of the movie viewing experience. Roma was masterfully engineered, but it really cam through here. I was very taken back by this. Even more so, the staff were great and personable, and it is truly awesome that this place is not for profit. If you love movies, if you love your community, go support them both at the Dundee Theater.
Ill always be a member as long as I live in Omaha. Always a great selection of quality movies.
I know, I know. They dont have the recliners but the chairs are still comfortable. Theyve got food, snacks, cocktails (better quality than the bigger theaters) and it really is a pleasant little piece of historical Omaha. As much of a fan I am of the recliners seats and big theaters, this place has grown on me and I will be happier going here instead!
This is a very fun place to bring my grandchildren. They love it here!
Great theatre and friendly crew. Loved the movie Remember My Name about David Crosby. Looking forward to Lolas opening there soon.
I love this theater. I had dinner at the Kitchen Table. The options are limited but growing, and the food is good. It does take a while. So, if youre planning to eat there before the movie, go at least an hour and a half before the movie starts. The theater is comfortable and is always playing wonderful, independent films, that you cant find at other theaters in Omaha. Filmstreams at either location is a good idea.
I have been in Omaha for nearly two years and until this month had never been to a movie here! I knew this had to change and I needed to get out and not only see something great, but visit a theater which shows independent and exception film. I found it! I dont know if this is the only place, but it has 2 screens and a place to eat/drink as well. Ill be back, and in fact have been twice this month.
This theater makes the old new again. Refurbished and remodeled, it provides dinner, drinks, and movies. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they show film festival winners that we normally wouldnt get to see in Omaha. Its a great theater, with a great vibe. I highly recommend it.
Awesome programming and film selection. With a clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff.
I love the changes they have made to the theatre and I was so happy to see it open again. I think popcorn as a side for their food is a bit strange, but the food is good. I would come back.
I really liked the movie FIRST REFORMED,(I think its Oscar material) which was atthe larger theater at Film Streams DundeeTheater some time ago. They also ranWONT YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR, which wasboth touching and inspiring. Film Streamsis progressive in the best sense of the word.
Absolutely love this theater! The staff was phenomenal and brought us our popcorn so we didnt have to wait for it to finish popping. The movie was terrific and the choices of films are great. So reasonably priced and First Mondays are free for students. AND everything is composted or recyclable!!
Nice breakfast and very nice redesign from the original Dundee theatre.
I waited YEARS for this place to reopen. Having attended the final showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show immediately before the Old Dundee Theatre closed back in 2013, I was delighted to see it reopen with a fresh coat of paint. Its not just the paint thats changed though. The staff, the vibe, and every aspect of this place is quintessentially Dundee. There is an inherent coolness about this place, from the menu to the wait staff. Even the 25 micro-theatre feels less like a sardine can and more like lounging on a couch with close friends. While the larger auditorium is wonderful, if you have the opportunity to visit the micro theater, do so. Youll appreciate the experience so much more. Also, their bottled root beer is perfect!
Nicely restored. Love the type of movies/documentaries that see shown here
Great movie selections and atmosphere.
A great theater. Glad to have it in the neighborhood.
Great atmosphere. Great popcorn. 1st time after the remodel.
Always an excellent venue to see a film, have dinner, hang out or all of the above. The renovation was excellent and it created an open, welcoming space. It has a fun and lively atmosphere.
Film Sreams Dundee is a magical world in a historic setting.
Great experience! Helpful, friendly employees and volunteers. Nice, clean theater. Great concessions. Updated bathroom. Improved parking lot. I do miss the original Dundee theater, but Im so glad that Filmstreams rescued it and gave it such a thoughtful update. Ill be back soon :)
Nice old school theater. Good food as well. If youre in the mood for an artsy or indie film, this is the place.
Rolling Thunder Review was excellent, the venue is excellent. We really enjoyed the experience
An amazing space with a great selection of movies. Theres a snack bar and a restaurant inside. Food/beverages from both are allowed in the theaters.
Nice theater. Great improvement over what it used to be. Offstreet parking is somewhat limited.
Loved Aretha Franklins movie Amazing Grace with NC100BW. Popcorn was fresh
I love this venue. Fun, classic movie theater.
I love this clean theater with great prices and food, and wonderful film offerings. Free parking and a restaurant on site are also plusses.
Great time, remodel looks great. Thrilled to see Legend Comics And Coffee sponsor the return of midnight movies! The only drawback is Im older, with a family and work responsibilities which makes that start time a bit rough. Maybe schedule a second, earlier showing for those who work early Saturday?
Very cool setup! Used to go here as a kid. It was great to visit old times!
Good classic movie theater and movie experience.
The really have retained the feel and look of the old theater while upgrading and making it beautiful. People are friendly. Great amenities. Good film selections.
Saw Free Solo and the theatre was meticulously clean. Doesnt have good soda/water, choices, so i drank nothing. Really nice experience at the
Great theater for art films. Row chairs unfortunately, but still a nice place. Good food at kitchen table too.
Very nice. People are welcoming. The bar/ restaurant is a very nice addition.
Went for the first time last night to see I, Tonya. Very impressed with the new theatre - I love the Ruth Sokolof so I had high expectations and the Dundee does not disappoint. Reasonably priced tickets and concessions and definitely catered to film lovers. Cant wait to be back
Watched Howls Moving Castle in the Micro theater (about 30 seats). High quality visuals and sound...seats comfortable but nothing fancy. Good experience!
Always a great time at film streams! The best popcorn in town and with our membership pricing is great too!
The theater was nice, but the popcorn was gross. Had butter on it and it wassoggy. Ask for water got a cup with ice in it had to go to the water fountain and get it. Water was warm so the ice melted. Dont like drinking warm water.
Very nice and cozy. Friendly staff and excellent dining facilities.
Lolas is great!
Impressively modern redesign. Clean theatre and easy parking.
This was our first time at this location we njoyed our visit hope to visit again soon the people working there were friendly and customer service friendly hope this helps.
Dundee and Sokolof Theaters are great supporters of independent films you wont see anywhere else. Filmstreams membership is the best bargain around.
Loved the clean new theater...Movie : Mr Rodgers was EXCELLENT! It was too crowded in their cafe ...but menu items sure appeared great !
Great to have the theater back in the neighborhood. many childhood memories from there.
A great independent film experience. Once discovered, we have been back three times since.
We really enjoyed taking our 4 year old to Mary Poppins. The new location for Film Streams is really open and spacious.
Nice place to take in a movie
Great theater. Staff was very helpful
Awesome place...very sharp. Parking is a little tight but way better seeing a movie here than at some homogenized cookie cutter multiplex.
First time, its ok I guess
This place is awesome. Very quaint and was a great experience overall
Love that kitchen table is attached! lots of yummy snacks and beer to bring with you to your movie.
Classic movie theater. Comfortable seats, good sound, reasonably priced concessions. Friendly staff and everything well maintained. Parking could be an issue during peak times.
Great theater, staff and eclectic ambiance!
This is just the place I wish I had grown up seeing films. Its the place I want my kids to grow up seeing films. The perfect balance of modern nostalgia.
I saw bernard and huey movie ... very good ... theatre is so nice inside
Popcorn and movie (Roma) were excellent. Parking was available.
Great independent movie theater. Get a membership, its worth it.
Wonderful vibe, staff had great dinner recommendations, and the movie was spectacular!!!
Used to work here in the 1980s, so the remodel was shockingly modern to see. Great that the Dundee is thriving, Kitchen Table, the new, attached restaurant, is outstanding.
Very very very nice.
WOW! A really great place for a bite to eat and a movie! Remodel success!
The Kitchen Table restaurant here is fantastic ... Fresh and great choices for vegetarians.
An old wonderful theater in Omaha. The Oscar animated shorts are fun every year.
The best cinematic experience Id ever had so far.
I absolutely adore Filmstreams and I am glad to see a gem like the Dundee Theater be restored for the masses once again. The addition of Kitchen Table is absolute bonus.
The best, most artsy, fabulous little local theater. Highly recommend.
The remodel looks great. Theres a good selection of food, drinks, and snacks.
Awesome place that offers opportunities to enjoy good cinema.
First time back since it closed years ago. They did a great job remodeling it and breathing new life into a revered landmark
Great place
Cozy...sound system very good
Such a great place to catch a movie, or still at Kitchen Table to study and read
Dundee Filmstream is in the refurbished Dundee theater. It has a large main screen theater and a micro theater that seats about 25. Omahas Kitchen Table restaurant has a location in the lobby for good eats before or aftwr the ahow.
Wonderful. So nice to have food there too.
A top quality not for profit movie theatre.
Lovely updated old building with an interesting selection of films and good popcorn.
Decent prices, nice environment, cool staff
Great new/old theatre. Happy to have it here in Omaha.
It very nice.
Saw the Oscar nominated short documentaries... quaint theater
Saw Wont You Be My Neighbor with some friends, and stayed for a drink. Pricey on concessions, but you get some bang for your buck for flavors.
Much better since they completely remodeled the building.
Pleasing atmosphere and the snack bar had unique items.
Wonderful experience after the remodel.
Newly Renovated/Remodeled! Pics of Ladies Bathroom
Great theater, updated with old theater feel
Id love to give this a 0 star rating
First time visit to the remodeled Dundee, will be back!
