I visited the school office a week or so ago. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I went to notarize some documents for a staff member. The office was being safe during Covid, they had on masks. I have many friends that have sent their children to the school and have heard good things. Many friends also attend the mass here and I recommend this church to others based on my friends that attend.

When in New Braunfels, we attend Mass here. Everyone is so welcoming and the Grotto is absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Great place to go to church! Lots of ways to stay involved. For all ages. Catholic Education is wonderful I loved it. My children loved it and now my grandchildren loved it.

Wonderful historic church. The people are very friendly. I love Maria the church secretary, she’s always so cheerful. I enjoy Spending time at the perpetual adoration chapel, very peaceful. There is always something going on in this church. Just Check out the bulletin and you’ll find something You’d like to get involved in.

Beautiful German Catholic Church. Look around after mass for the German in the stained glass windows.

This is such a wonderful parish community. Our priests are faithful and welcoming and theres a ministry for anyone looking to get plugged in. The sanctuary is just gorgeous and it is so uplifting to think about celebrating Mass in the same spot as the very first immigrants to our city. I also want to mention of pretty and peaceful the Grotto is. Its a great spot to come pray on your own, or to take a wiggly kid out to let out a bit of energy during Mass.

This resale shop has a wide variety of goods with a very quick turnover. The prices are very good and what I like in a resale. But, the best thing is the ladies that assist you and check you out. It is a rarity to get to interact with such hometown church people volunteering their time to sell me a crock made in England in the 1800s! Thank you so much!

I used to go to church just going through the motions. I attended an ACTS retreat sponsored by Saint Peter and Paul which was one heck of a spiritual awakening. A very welcoming, bustling parish in the middle of New Braunfels. We like to come here when visiting my brother. Right down the street is a winery called Water 2 Wine that is excellent. We go to Mass and then visit the folks there

Beautiful church and the chorus are a great voice like a angels. My favorite place is the chapel you can pray in silence and talk with God. You feel peace when you are there. I talk with the conseulor she is so sweet and she wants to help you.

I am hesitant to share this with you but being selfish is against my manners. The merchandise are in good condition and priced for people who watches their spending because of their income. They have antiques, housewares, furnitures, clothing (some designers), shoes, small appliances, decors, custom jewelry, some name brand purses and so on. The ladies are very helpful and well mannered. No contradicting opinions on the way they conduct the business. Always very satisfied on my findings and purchases. Compare to other Thrift stores that are over priced and merchandise not so lasting this is the best. Happy browsing and purchasing.

Good people, Mass is more modern than 5 years ago. The church itself is very old, there is a historical marker outside. The inside is gorgeous.

Beautiful church. If you want to come to mass here, come early! You will almost always have a hard time trying to find parking. But dont let that deter you.

A wonderful church steeped in history. The community is very welcoming and they offer many groups one can become involved in. The prayer garden is a little escape in the middle of town that can be a very inviting place to pray and meditate and they regularly have pray the rosary here at 9 in the evenings.

Best church I’m down town

I don’t feel that the pastor totally cares about his congregation. I had to beg for 3hrs for a priest to come give my mom the sacrament of the sick. Countless calls were made. I was told the pastor was off for the day & the other priest was on vacation.

It was a nice church service.
