Very Nice people. They cleaned the tubes between people. Nice restrooms. We got in the river at the place instead of taking the shuttle up. It was still a nice float down. Took just over an hour. The shuttle there was fast. They have lockers you can rent, $10, so that was nice. Could use plus size tubes for us not so skinny people.

This experience was one that I will never forget. Starting with the beginning, waiting to rent the tubes, we were greeted with Tommy, and man, his enthusiasm and knowledge was amazing. So friendly and polite. I truly believe if every employee had the same enthusiasm a company wouldn’t fail. Lack of customer service is a huge issue nowadays. You don’t often see happy employees. So thank you for that tommy!Next, the river oh my god it’s amazing. Perfect temperature and amazing scenery. What makes it better is the company you’re with.They have spots along the river you can stop at and drink and eat. That was pretty cool.When they say can ban, they mean it. The checkpoints are real, never experienced that before and thank god it wasn’t us. Don’t do it, is my best advice.Matt was also really awesome.This place is awesome and the experience is one for the books, y’all have earned a repeat customer

We had an amazing experience at 444 tubing, Tommy and the other employees were excellent and very friendly. Tommy went above and beyond to help us out when we got rained on and even put gloves on to move our stuff out of the rain while we were tubing! He made our experience the best. I highly recommend 444 tubing.

444 Tubing Co. was the friendliest on the river. After the incredible float down the river we didnt have to wait long got the shuttle back. We were greeted going in and told thank you going out. The tubes were top notch as well. Well be back!!

444 is the only and best place to go down the comal with no issues

Place was very organized, from parking to drop off and pick up. Everthing thoroughly explained for those that have never tubed before. Max was very nice . Tube ride was just over two hours long. 10/10 would recommend.

444 tubing has, hands down, the best customer service I have ever experienced at any business! The owners and staff are incredible, kind, caring people. I saw them go above and beyond, for not only me, but every other customer that needed help. I will 100% be returning over and over again!!

444 tubing is one of the many tubing companies where you can go rent a tube with wristband that gives you access to charter boat and river ride for at least 3 hours. They sell different items that will make your float down the river well deserved like phone pouches to keep device from getting wet, hats, water shoes and etc. From 444 its easy access to the rivers and an exit off the river. Either way theyll get you what you need!

Extremely great to do with the family. You should know before you go to. 1. BUY YOUR OWN TUBE ( you can get one at a sports store for $8-10 bucks)!2. If you have little ones go early.3. Do not have on sneakers.4.LEAVE NOTHING I REPEAT NOTHING AT THE START POINT.Secure your sandals. Other than that it’s a great place. You will be able to stop, and get drinks along the way.

It was our first time tubing the Comal. We had a great experience with using the 444s. The shuttle was great, especially our friendly driver, Mary Joyce. She was very helpful and provided some great tips! Will definitely use yall again soon!

Had such a great experience. The staff was friendly, the driver was funny and extremely helpful. Super clean restrooms and covered areas with picnic tables. I definitely won’t be tubing anywhere else. Plus they give a discount for military, teachers, and first responders. It didn’t apply to me but it’s great to see

During this past 2019 summer season, I went every weekend and I enjoyed it all so much! staff were friendly, helpful, and made it an overall great experience. Bus drivers were nice, talkative, and the river. was always a great place to kick off a weekend. I will be going back with extended family in 2020 and I cant wait! definitely would recomend

The Comal is super fun and an easy float after the first chute. Staff very friendly and prompt at 444 and we love that our littlest could get a closed bottom tube at no charge. Grateful for the lifeguards looking us out after he flipped over though!If you want to take a family on the river, Im sure that a weekday or Friday morning would be best. It was already starting to get busy and wilder after our second run on a Friday in the summer. I cant imagine how packed it is on Saturday and probably not family friendly.So cool that you can go as many times as you want!

My family and I had a great experience at 444. The staff was friendly, the float was perfect, and we didn’t have to wait long to be picked up! Also, you can float as many times as you want with no extra charge! We will definitely use them again next year!

The staff was very professional, attentive and nice. The prices were great and the best part was that they offer Military Veterans and First Responders half off. Some people complain about the $10 parking fee but the service and great location made up for it. If youre looking for excellent service and top quality tunes then you must visit here.The shuttle service was excellent too, the shuttle driver even walked up to us from far away to help my wife and kids with their float tubes. I will definately be coming back to 444 Tubing.

We love 444! They have the most amazing people working there. They do everything they can to make it a great experience for us. We will come back year after year! I forgot to mention they gave us free popsicles.

Fun place for a hot day

This place is AMAZING!!! The staff was super helpful and friendly. We floated twice in one day.... It was beautiful. Id go back to San Antonio just to do the river float!

The service was 5 star staff great customer service front cashier to shuttle drivers . 5 stars for who clean the bathrooms and overall atmosphere.But Im a Texas sized man and needed a bigger tube, we went for memorial day on Monday tube ride was uncomfortable to the point I had to sit up most the time. Would be happy to pay more for a tube thats wider or one with a neck rest . Tuesday my neck and lower back were sore . Will go back once they offer a bigger tube . Im 57 and weigh 247 pounds .

Ignore all the reviews saying theyre racist. They are very friendly especially the kid directing the traffic, Austin I think was his name. Gregory, the merchandise seller was very nice and their merch is great! Enjoy a great tubing experience at 444!

I love this place, but last time I went I brought my pet fish with me. We were enjoying a great summer day tubing until he drowned. I was very sad but now I dont care anymore.

Customer service giving false information in regards to fees and what they offer. The white kid directing the traffic of parking informed my group that its $25 flat to park and have river access from their establishment. This one lady who works there (photo attached) kept harassing and rushing us as we were setting our things up and ready for a relaxation under the sun and nature. We started walking toward the entrance, the same lady stopped us and stated that their entrance was closed/shut down and that we have to pay $25/per person to park and utilize their shuttle service. At this point, we were all frustrated and hot. We are NEVER coming back to this fake establishment.

Pretty Crowded but really worth it

The service here was fantastic. My wife forgot to grab a tube and the shuttle driver hustled back for her tube. They grabbed our tubes after and were extremely professional. If we go back to Comal, we will visit again

Worst place is the worst. You pay 200 dollars to rent a cabana you would think it would come with a wrist band, instead they harass you and tell you to pay more or you will not be allowed in the cabana you rented. Cleared before hand to have DJS and music and then when we show up we are harassed repeatedly and forced to leave. Never go here. Float In is much cheaper and much friendlier.

I wish I didn’t have to give them one star. Owner was rude to friends who booked the place for a party. Racist remarks and called the cops. Don’t waste your money with this place. NB deserves better.

Love this place. Offer a great military discount. We went three times to go float. Theres a shuttle just like all the other ones. Keys are kept for deposit, never had an issue. Easy to find right off of the main street. Fun place to go and tube the Comal

Great service from friendly staff. It was my first time tubing, and I was a little nervous about the chutes. We managed to get three people and one cooler through without flipping. Only gripe is that I went on the weekend and it was crowded, which is to be expected.

Picked 444 because of an amazing phone conversation I had with them while asking for info about our first tubing trip. The experience during the visit to 444 was even better than the phone call. Everyone that works here is so nice and helpful. That was really refreshing because it was my first time to do any activitysimilar to that. We rented our tubes(got too choose the type we preferred) ...okay pause: this is where I say if you arent alone and dont want to get separated from your peeps GET A ROPE to tie your tubes together, trust me on this...un pause...were instructed on the dos and do nots and told what to expect. Next we were picked up by a bus with a trailer for our tubes. The driver was also very nice and informative. They let us out right by the walkway to the river and off we went. They picked us up right when we got off at the river exit and whisked us back to their parking lot where our cars were. It was easy and smooth no waiting around. I definitely recommend then to anyone especially family and friends

Could have a 5 star rating, but the lines take an extremely stressful amount of time to make your way to the ticket counter. This is kind of a good thing as it’s a reflection of the fact that they are so busy.

Easy peasy. Plenty of parking when we arrived, filled out the waiver forms, locked everything in the car and we were off. Less than 5 min ride to starting point and waited less than 5 mins for pickup at the end. Was able to save $11 via an available groupon. They did offer teacher and military discounts (not applicable to my group).

Parking is 25 dollars. They charge per person for shuttle service. Over 15 per person. Then the cost of tubes if you didnt bring your own. A bit on the greedy side not so much customer oriented.

Best place to grab a tube, place is clean and organized, staff is always great and the shuttles are always on time. Friend lost a phone in the river and it was returned to the cashier luckily by a scuba diver, I recommend buying the waterproof case with their logo!

We saw great reviews and traveled from Dallas for our vacation. We bought a Groupon, parked unloaded all of our stuff and walked in really excited. They immediately turned their nose at us and said how old is your daughter. Months away from turning 4 and I had my 6 year old also. They said they don’t allow kids under 4, but they were sure Groupon would refund us. We had our own life vests, I didn’t understand the problem and they weren’t busy at all. Groupon DIDN’T refund us since I had bought the Groupon more than 3 days ago planning our vacation & it was out of their policy. READ THE FINE PRINT on Groupon and don’t bring your children here. This clearly isn’t a family place.

Rental cabana awesome step to river private

It was $46 for 2 people, pretty standard pricing in the area, we had a nice day of tubing and were impressed by their staff. The comal is beautiful and is controlled, so during this dry summer it wasnt low like the Frio and Guadalupe, which we also tubed this summer (and required lots of walking). This ride includes the tube chute with has 2 pretty intense places, and the rest is really nice and easy. It can be crowded but we go during the week and its fine

Very racist. Gave different instructions over the phone and called the cops when we had music even though they said it wasn’t an issue. Had us escorted. Very embarrassing and uncalled for. Even lied constantly when the cops came. You just didn’t want us there

Easiest tubing trip ever - just show up. Park, pay, get in line for the shuttle and then get ready to relax and make new friends as you move down to the exit point. You get picked up and brought back to starting point. Easy peasy!! Down side was the parking. Gotta get there early.

We had a blast, we rented the cabana, and the customer service was suberb! From them giving us tons of popsicles to the help with our tubes, food and fun. Also I would like to mention that their location is right under the big bridge located near the 2 first shoots. Making it a great place to people watch as well. I would definitely recommend 444 tubing to my friends and family.

This place was so awesome the tubes are 25 dollars per person. I got mine for half the price for being a teacher.... Yay teacher discount, ️ when you get your tubes you go down the stairs and you can start the adventure of 2 hours or so depending if you stop. I definitely want to go back again it was the best experience for me something I can cross off my bucket list yay.The water is a little more chilled for me but once ur in it feels amazing...I definitely recommend for anyone to go you will have a blast. I wish I could have taken pictures but I left my phone in the car so it would not get wet .

DO NOT PARK HERE. BAD. BAD. BAD. Extremely overpriced with no integrity. The female owner/manager and staff may try to dupe you out of your money and harrass your family while trying to get your kids gear ready for the river. Once you pay they pull a bait and switch scheme. You do not get what you actually thought you were paying for which is to park in the lot as advertised and not in the grass and gain access to the river. They lie and tell customers they can access the river from their property but IT IS CLOSED. Tell customers the truth, you want them to pay $25 dollars a person plus $10 to park event though your location DOES NOT offer access to the river. Bad business and bad service. DRIVE TO THE NEXT PLACE!

Way, way, way over priced. Plus, you are charged the same price to ride the bus, even if you have your own tube and charged the same price to access the water from the location as tube rental.
