Do not take any classes here for Parks an recreation. Let me tell you how bad it was. I purchased my Archery ticket online and got a receipt and an address at 110 Golf Course, new braunfels. I got there at 1pm for the class. The building was closed, no answer on the number provided. I was then texted by a friend they were here at Fischer Park!! I never got any information about fischer park!!!! So then i had to google and DRIVE there its then 1:54PM IVE DONE WASTED 3 HOURS OF MY LIFE AND THIS RUINED A PERFECT SATURDAY FOR ME i was invired to do other things today chose this, what a waste dont bother just buy a bow and watch youtube videos. Ive never felt soo ripped off any annoyed. Maybe is was cuz my last name is spanish they just decided not to send me the info....thats how im feeling.

Very nice place to take the kids. Super clean and and easy to find. The small water park is perfect for cooling the kids off and I enjoyed the family atmosphere. I highly recommend this little park!!!

Its a small park, but very well done. Has two ponds, splash pad for the kids. Great place to walk the dog.

Great place for walks and fishing. Nicely maintained. Dogs must be on leash and poo bags are provided.

Fish? Nope. Turtles and waterfowl yup. occasional sweet smell of methane which appeared as wisps of smoke with tendrals spreading out. Nice fishing and canoe ramp. Clean facilities and very child oriented for all ages. the staff how ever failed to acknowledged us when they moped in to work and doubled charged us dyno eggs

This is a great park for adults and kids. It has a great water pad with different places for the water to spray out. Theres are also covered play areas and concrete paths. You will have fun here!

We dont do much in the park but my kids are obsessed with the splashpad! Clean with lots of table and seating options. Beautiful area

I love Fischer park!! You will find me there like a child on s playground with my camera! I love the views and the night sky there on a beautiful day you can see forever!! In the spring and summer the trees and plants are beautiful. It’s a photographers paradise. Many many gorgeous pictures taken at at Fischer’s park.

Nice if only folks would be considerate enough to not sit there with their vehicles running pumping fumes/noise in the parking lot.

Loved this place so much we got places similar to this park in Houston but not comparable to the specific spot where they build this park its more natural and up on a hill.....

Very beautiful park for the whole family. The sand pit has an archeological dig and the kiddos loved it. You can easily fish and still see the kids while they play in the sand pit. We came during the off season for the splash pad but it looks clean, and roomy for lots of kids to play.

Paved trails with varied degrees of difficulty, beautiful scenery, nice fishing spots, education center and classes, large pavilions, sandbox, butterfly garden, plenty of benches and sitting areas. The kids and our dogs love it!

Awesome park, plenty for the kids, walking, running, water activities, and two ponds to fish in.... education area, snack shop, gift shop, what a place to go and hang out...

This is a very beautiful park on the backside of new Braunfels Texas. The landscaping is very exceptional they have a water park splash area for the kids in the summertime the pavilion we used was very nice. I was there for a camp gladiator work out on a very cold Friday morning. I am looking forward to returning on a warmer day when I can enjoy the park more.

I totally recommend this place. It has everything to do for your family or just you. A small pond to go fishing, a pretty big sand box to have fun, a pretty long walking trail, a play ground and a water pad that the whole family can enjoy. Picnic tables cost $10 and the gazebos it depends on which one you get. Its something to check out. I take my family there but do something different every time we go.

Kids loved this place and the splash pad is great in the summer heat. The hilltop location means there are nice views and a breeze. I cant wait for the trees to grow and give more shade. Could really use water fountains that squirt water high enough to refill a water bottle.

A beautiful park, perfect for families to enjoy the natural beauty of central Texas. The have a very pretty butterfly garden and learning center too.

Beautiful, clean and peaceful. My six year old caught his first fish here. Lot of things to do with the family, the playground is modern. They have a water park too. One of my favorites for sure.

Amazing park! The trails are well maintained, the facilities look new and the ponds are beautiful. My only complaint about this park is that there dont seem to be any fish in these ponds.

Always a favorite for my dog and I. May I suggest one area of performance improvement?Can there be another strategic look at canine point of care (POC) locations (i.e feces collection/disposal)? One area of consideration can be the most southern point of entry from the pavillion which is identified by a wide sidewalk. This is high traffic area for walkers, families, and dog walkers but there is no canine POC until you reach the nature center. There are several areas of dog feces that are left untouched that need attention. If one of two POC locations were to be installed along this area it would allow a deeper appreciation for all those that admire the beauty of this park. Thank you.

This is a beautiful park. Lots of pavilions to hang out with family and friends. A large splash pad for the kids. Two padded playgrounds. A small lake and garden. I just wish they would finish working on the trails around the lake so it would be more fun to explore!

Down the hill, there is a small pond for fishing and canoeing with ramp. There is also a massive sand pit and beautiful, paved, scenic walking paths. Up the hill, there is a splash pad and small playground.

Plus vending machines for drinks. Walking paths to a huge pond. Parking is free. They even have Park Rangers walking around to ensure your safety.

A fairly new park with new growth, fishing ponds, splash pad, dinosaur park and butterfly exhibit that sits on a hill top overlooking the city of New Braunfels. Shared some Winter and Spring pictures. Beautiful sunset behind a flowering Dogwood tree. Full moon on one of the fishing ponds.

Fischer park is a real gem. Its a city of New Braunfels park, with separate playgrounds for 2-5 and 6-12. There is also a small sprayground water park, covered pavilions with plenty of picnic tables, and clean restrooms. And its FREE!

Fisher Park has multiple playgrounds for both bigger kids and toddlers. It has a lake, sand pit, spot for fishing and its generally full of friendly people. There is also a water feature open during the spring a summer. Plenty of tables for those looking to picnic.

If you want to take your kids to a nice park that has something for everyone this is it.Walking trails, water park, and jungle gyms for different age groups. Or take a nice bike ride around the paths. Check out the butterfly garden. Or play in the giant sand box. This park is beautiful!

Im from Houston; so to see small peaceful sceneries as New Braunfels has to offer; love @ first sight. Im a pretty laid back kninda girl.

Well kept. Very clean. The trail was beautiful. Maybe a few more lights out there but very well kept. The water park portion wasnt on just yet but the kids were raving about how they couldnt wait til they turn them around. Plenty of parking. Spacious room.

First time visiting this park and we had a great time. I loved that there were tons of picnic tables. Our little one really enjoyed the splash park. I liked that she could go back and forth between the splash park and the regular park and I could see her from where I was sitting. We will definitely be spending more time here!

A fantastic park. Another gem here in new braunfels. Fishing, kayaking, splash pad and wonderful walking trails. They also do a great job with school field trips. What ever the reason you are headed to the park this is a great park to head to. Clean bathrooms. The nature center has a small store with everything you might need for a day at the park. Fishing poles and sun screen among other things. We had a great time

Plenty of parking, public restroom access, vending machines, splash park in the warm months, and lots of walking areas to bring your pups. Ours love it here!

Blessing for the people of New Braunfels. Due to its location uphill afternoons are super awesome over here and splash pad is cherry on the top. We celebrated our son’s birthday and everyone enjoyed the views and had fun

Great park for running. However, I dont recommend it for novice runners (unless you like a challenge) There are a lot of steep inclines that push you and your endurance pretty hard.Im a novice runner.

Nice park and splash pad. Its $25 to sit at a table (the only shaded area) even though most of them are empty and the park rangers single out certain people to ask if they paid and make them move, while not asking others. So if your kid (or you) need a little shade or rest, be prepared to pay.

They built a very nice park. Great walking paths and a splash pad. Different playgrounds for different age children. The butterfly garden is beautiful.

Great addition to New Braunfels park system. Great playground and splash pad in the summer. Dont forget to visit the fishing pond, sand pit and Nature Center. Been there several times before we realized the nature center was there. Excellent learning opportunities.

Definitely a fun place to visit. Awesome and clean. Fun for the whole family! Fish here almost every week. Kids love the water park as well.

The splash pad Was great. Just wish the park people would enforce the rules. We had a party going at our reserved pavilion. Our guests had to stand around and wait while they packed up to leave. Said the rangers told them they could use it since we were running late and they left a mess. Also had several people with their dogs running in the water. Our kids are all smaller (4 and under) so we werent very comfortable with the large dogs. Park is beautiful.
