What an awesome place for family. Theres fishing, walking/bike trails, a big sand box with dinosaur bones you find. A beautiful garden with flowers and veggies. A very nice playground and super neat splash pad. Plenty of parking and picnic tables. Pet chickens and a rooster wander the grounds here too. Kids love them!

Parks and REC does an excellent job at Fischer Park.

Such a gem! Wonderful nature center. Splash pad and park was very clean and my son and his cousins had a great time. Not crowded at all, unlike landa park. I would definitely return.

This place is awesome. We love it. Its a nice safe place to take the kids fishing. They rent small boats to get out on the water. Well maintained and very modern. Its a great family experience and highly recommended. Parking is good. Cant wait to go back!

Classes are small, archery is fun. Wish they had an archery club. Staff is great. Always a fun time.

The splash pad is super fun but there is no shade and they make you pay for picnic tables. Their playground is kind of scary to me as a parent, it definitely isnt safe for littler children.I like that there is a button to turn the water on by the frog toy and it turns itself off automatically to save water in case nobody is playing on it.

Great place to do partys and to spend time with your kids while they are playing at the park and feed the ducks. So much to do here: go for a walk, go fishing, play in A big sand box, splash pad is amazing. A fun full day for the whole family. Totally recommend coming here!!!

Nice park and walking trail. Beautiful lake, and cute play area for the chicklets. Covered area as well. Dog friendly. Just please clean up after them.

Beautiful place to relax in town

Great place to take the hound for a walkOver the last couple of years Fischer park has gotten pretty crowded, but it’s still one of the best dog walks in town. We tend to go pretty late at night when there are no other people around( much better that way).

Long walks, nice scenery, and plenty to do. This park has it all.And a splashpad for the little ones!

It was ok. My babies werent interested in the splash pad but my big girls loved it. The have playground options for all ages but like always slides are stupid hot. Lots of shade and seating. Only thing I would have is playground equipment covered completely in shade.

Great day, playing in the water, then taking a break to play on the playgrounds. Ending the day with a walk to the see the butterfly garden and gift shop. Enjoying the view of the lake was an added pleasure. 2nd visit within 4 days and planning on coming back as often as we can!

I have heard its the highest point in Comal County. This is what city park should be. Splash Pad, lots of playground equipment, tables and pavilions. There are clean restrooms, a butterfly garden, huge sandbox with fossils . Two large lakes, one has a wonderful pier with a kayak/canoe easy launch pad with rollers. Wide sidewalks through the entire park, many shaded by the large trees. I highly recommend this park to anyone.

This is one of my favorite parks in New Braunfels. There are many walking trails and ponds throughout the park. My favorite part is the butterfly garden, there is seating to just sit there and meditate, its really quite peaceful. There are also spring and summer programs offered by the staff here and a cute little gift shop with the usual shirts, hats, water bottles, maps Etc.

Always a great place to visit after so many years. Clean splash pad and pavilions. Decent bathrooms and lovely grounds.

Perfect park for picnic, water fun for kids, hiking and nature trails. Lots of covered shelters and you can reserve them. Miles of good paved hiking trails with good signage for wildlife and flora explanations. Great place for kids to run through sprikler type water and lots of fun. Good parking available.

Best place to go for a birthday parti with your friends. The water park is perfect for little kids even for adults. There is also two extra parks near the water park. The parks have a climbing area, babe area, and 4 sections of different activities. There are also 6 pavilions for your family to an entire birthday party. If you didnt come for the water park or the other two parks then you could go on a walk. There is a path for you to follow to visit other biutifull places.

This is definitely a five-star Park. I wish there was more parking and the water park was a little bit bigger. Because there are so many people that come here because this park is amazing. New Braunfels really took some time and consideration when they designed this Park. Theres so many things to do here. You have hiking paths that you can go on. They even have a pond that you can go fishing and rent canoes for only $5 an hour per person. There is even a little butterfly garden. They even have a center where your kids can go and learn about all the different things outdoors. There is even a little miniature water park so call. It has a huge bucket that dumps on you. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. If you come to you Braunfels you must bring your kids to this park even if you dont have kids come. It has plenty of restrooms and water fountains and plenty of shade.

We avoided Harvey and set up camp in New Braunfels. It was recommended that we stop by Fischer Park and so glad we did. Though we didnt have poles with us, we were offered fishing poles (though not typically something they offer). My two boys really enjoyed a little break from the hotel. Thank you! Beautiful park that with time will only get better.

Not overly crowded sits on a hilltop with a good breeze, closes at 9pm so we dont melt in the sun! Beautiful scenic views and landscaping good walking trails easy access to park trails, splash pad and lake!

This is a great place to bring young kids who like to get wet. Not much shade, so be prepared when its hot.
