Love this 3 block by 3 block town. The visitor center is open, its also the train station. You cant purchase tickets for Amtrak there but you can catch your train there. VRE tickets are sold on the platform in a kiosk. Lovely visitor center inside, great knowledgable staff. The town has many great restaurants all independently owned and great shops. They even have art banners on the lamp post throughout the town and painted benches, and walls, very artistic place. Also there is a huge Framers market on Saturdays. You cant go wrong visiting a cute piece of history.
We love visiting here because there is always something going on. We went to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. They were so adorable, friendly and super nice. They had been there all evening and we were the last group of the night, but they did not seem to mind.It was nicely decorated all through out old town. The Christmas tree by the ice rink is really nice. There’s something to do and see for everyone.
Great Farmers Market and shops. Lots of activities through out the year!
Great way to kill an afternoon or evening. Some great non chain restaurants, coffee shops, retail shops and special events through the year. Very nice and polite people walking the town which is unusual for the stuck up losers around NOVA and the DMV area.
Nice quaint town. Very small, spend probably 30 minutes here if you visit the very small museum. Still nice to enjoy if you have to waste some time.
Quaint downtown location to take a stroll, eat at one of the restaurants or sit and relax at the pavillion or other benches staggered around town.
Great place. Very informative in items of the area. I ride Amtrak to roanoke every other weekend. I park in the garage and enjoy the train ride. Simple and fun. Thanks, bruce
A quaint area about 3 block area where there is places to shop and eat. Also place to explore the history of the area. Recommend to start at the visitor center where there is free four hour parking.
Great town for walking. Good shops. Lots if choices for food.
A beautiful small place to go, nice coffee shops and restaurants.
Do not underestimate Old Town Manassas! Walk the streets (safely), day or night. Enjoy fine cuisine, concerts at the pavilion during the spring/summer months, or ice skating in the winter. Stay at the Inn and you may meet the legendary ghost Miss Lucy. I did. Shes full of pranks, but harmless. Very fine people you will meet if you choose to stop on by.
Calm place to take time away from bust schedule
Very fun place, dont forget the train station
Old town Manassas is always fun in the winter- ice skating :)
Great place to vist civil war histroy
Wonderful Manassas
Congratulations on being probably the least friendly town in the south
