Harris Teeter is always clean, everyone is very nice and helpful. They have great fresh produce, always a good selection. Their online shopping is very quick and easy.

Absolutely beautiful! This park has it all. it has various soccer fields, which I really like because some other Parks will only have 2 or 4 and when there are various groups at the fields awkward because there are not enough. Also has some Trails which I look forward to walking on when the weather gets better. they have basketball courts, tennis courts, and an area for barbecuing. This is a great family fun place.

I only used the regulation baseball field here, but these fields are very well maintained and were probably the best field Ive played on in the area. The park itself seemed very clean also. This would be a great place to bring the family for a nice outdoor outing.

Great place to hike, walk, bike, play sports, romp on the playground, and even check out a book at the neighborhood library.Can be crowded on Saturdays, when team sports games are held. Some concessions available seasonally. Bathrooms available near some of the sports fields, open seasonally (typically closed during winter).

Short little one mile trail with exercise stations along the path. There was plenty of parking even though there were a crazy number of soccer games going on today. The trail was very well maintained and not difficult at all.

We love this park. Weve had many sports practices here plus play ground time and some trail hikes. Its a great convenient spot!

The walking trail is ok fairly easy. Not much else to do there unless you play baseball or soccer.

This is a very nice play ground. While there arent any swings the playground it self is suited for a wide age range. Its right next to a big open field so kids can run and play ball as well. Bathrooms are also right near which is very helpful with little ones.

This is a great path to walk and have a great pace. I took my 10 year old granddaughter with me and she had a great time. We talked during the walk and she didnt realize she had walked a mile so quickly.

The turf soccer fields are excellent. The other fields are always needing repair because of huge holes and water damages. There needs to be some type of system in place to remove standing water.

The fitness trail is a great way to do something fun and fit a work out. But at the same time you get to see nature unraveling infront of you

Great park. Usually clean and well maintained. Really, the only thing bad about it is the soccer people hold up traffic and you have to drive through the soccer area to get to the baseball area.

Love the playground. We also love the library there.

Great Place!

The walking trail through the wooded area of the park is the perfect size for my toddler to be able to walk with her bigger sisters and me. The exercise stations provide entertainment for my three older girls (ages 7, 5, and 3) while allowing my 2 yr old to catch her breath.

A well-kept and attractive park with jungle gyms, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, and some walks in the woods. Its not the most scenic by any stretch, but it is very functional.

The park and all facilities are great! Be mindful of all the parents while driving, they are more apt to walk into traffic without looking than the kids are.

Equipment has decent shade and restrooms close by!

Great park but ridiculous that the bathrooms are all locked up on a Saturday morning. Why spend the money to build a good facility with bathrooms and then not open them?

Great soccer and baseball complex. Probably the best baseball complex in the state. For Little League fields. One asked for turf soccer field. In one grass. Once you come in there are four other soccer fields. Playgrounds around as well.

Well maintained, dog friendly park. People are polite and allow you your space. Lots of things to do here than just walk the trail.

Went here for a soccer tournament, its ok. We played on the turf fields that are a bit harder in the kids than the grass of Valley View.

This is a very busy park. There are 2 big open fields at the front that serve as soccer fields. There are 2 larger grass fields used for soccer in the center of the park adjacent to the extremely well used playground. Beside the playground is 1 covered pavilion that can be used for parties or picnic. The NVSC headquarters is located here as well. The are 2 turf soccer fields here as well as several baseball fields located in the back. You can always find parking but during soccer season it can be tough. The best part is the 1 mile walking trail through the woods. It is gravel and is well used. You also have the library here as well. Tennis courts and basketball courts are also available with FCFS.

Visited the Independent Hill Neighborhood Library - truly impressed with the high degree of customer service.

Nice park with well maintained fields, trails, and facilities. The park offers a 0.8 mile walking or running trail with lots of up and down hills. There are a good amount of grass soccer fields and 2 turf fields, but they are reserved mainly for the soccer club (NVSC) that practices in the evenings. The baseball feilds are also in great shape but the same thing applies. My only complaint is how crowded some of the parking areas get when the place gets busy.

When they tore up the woods to put the fields in I was hoping that they would put in a recreational center with an indoor swimming pool - they didnt. This would have benefited those who commute from the South.It might have been nice to have a fenced in dog park also - they didnt. My dogs do like to poo on the fields when I walk them there now, it is not the same as when it was woods.

Love this park, has a very nice playground, exercise trails, there are 2 very nice turf soccer fields, and 5 baseball fields including a wheele chair accessable field little league fields, and a highschool field. Everything here is very nice, I highly recommend it.
