The new historical markers really add to the experience. The new garden is beautiful and I cant wait to see it in the spring. I was happy to see a building for bathrooms, but they werent open when we went last week. We plan to go back and walk the hiking trail. There have been so many improvements over the last few years.

This is the birthplace of the American Civil War. A Historic landmark. Sometimes misidentified as the McLean house. Home of the Wiers, relatives of the Carters.
