This is a great place to take your kids. Or if you just want to run, walk, play tennis, basketball baseball, or just sit and listen to the birds. Its a great place to go to get away or just collect your thoughts. And its super safe there is a police station right next to it.

The kids enjoy visiting this park. As you can see, the book nook(book exchange) is a hit! How cool is that to see all three kids engaged in reading so intently. They wanted to participate, so we later returned with our donation of several books for the nook.

Nice clean park. Kids can play, people can walk on the walking track, play baseball etc.

Park just upgraded but I usually play ball court has new paint and looks great. Really nice due to police center in front. Walking trails a few. Dog friendly not a small park. Great for kids baseball fields 2 tennis court 3 basketball court. You can leave a book take a book station is neat.

I love this park. The paved path is over a half a mile, theres a police station next door, half of it is well lit when its getting dark, and theres normally people around but not too many.

We took our three month granddaughter to see the lights. She enjoyed them. We love Highvew Park. The playground is awesome and the walking path is great with all the trees.

A nice environment and fun for kids and adults. Public restrooms are available. My kids even made friends with some kids there and as the parents we just started talking as well. This was my 1st time at Highview Park but i think I will be visiting there again.

I liked walking through the Christmas display. It only takes about ten minutes to walk through.

Nice park. Has ball field, soccer field and tennis courts. The playground area is good for little kids, not for older. Parking was peculiar. GPS takes you to government center but theres limited parking there. Theres a parking lot off the side street entrance.

Great place and my kids love to go next door to the Police station to see police vehicles, ambulancess and helicopters!

Mostly everything you need from a park, fairly clean and safe for your children

Trip down memory lane. Grew up across the street from the park. Lots of changes - park has more open spaces, more game fields. This time of year there isnt much activity in the park. Folks sitting in their cars eating lunches. Otherwise - nothing going on.I mainly came by to look at the old house. Its been changed a lot. All the old neighbors are gone now.The woods are still there, but smaller and thinner. Park has walking trails extending all the way over to Outer Loop. The park didnt have them way back when. Its nice, clean, & seems to be well upgraded and taken care of. Maybe Ill drop by again when the trees are full and green, the sky is clear blue, and the weather is warmer.

Always picked up and clean however some things at the park raised a little concern such as the dino or dragon whatever it is its boarded up which means someones fixed it but it holds me and Im a bit on the big side so I guess not a huge concern... also someone hit a baseball and it landed on the walk way thankfully it didnt hit anyone but plenty of children running around I feel it should have a taller gate with net to help insure safety. For the most part its a great park and I like taking my children id recommend it.

Super clean, and the playground is pretty cool. The only thing I didnt like is how one of the steps was damaged and repaired with plywood. However, they fixed it.So A for effort.

Ive only ever come to this park to play softball. However, it is one of my favorite parks in the city. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, a playground, walking path, and a softball field. Theyve also recently converted a second field from softball to soccer.The park is always busy. Not so busy that it is unpleasant, but busy enough to feel safe and to feel like you are part of an active community when you are there. The playground is modern, with plenty of equipment for children of all ages. The walking path is a good length, and mainly shaded beneath the tree canopy.

My son got to play here and me and my aunt loved how clean and safe it was . Will return as soon as possible. He got to ride his new bike for his birthday. He was a very happy boy. He made 2 new friends too .

Nice park. Two good size walking tracks. A very nice tennis court. Bring your used books to fill the Little Library container. Brand new restroom facilities.

Good for multiple activities. Tennis court, batted ball courts, sometimes there is a concert, and park for kids. Shades from big trees keeps you cool.

I like this park. Fun play area, clean bathrooms, nice walking trail. The grounds could be kept up better. The grass was long and there was shattered glass all over covered picnic area where I was eating lunch with my kids.

Its a lovely quiet place to sit and reflect or play softball or tennis or throw a frisbee with my puppy dog etc. I just like it alot there

We visited the park for a community Christmas function at LMPD 7 building. It was a great experience. The park was well decorated with Christmas light. The newly constructed restrooms are heated and top notch. The play ground and walking track it wonderful. The tennis courts are well kept. Great place to spend a few hours outside.

Walk through there almost daily to get to work . Its very charming with jungle gym and swings for little kids and basketball goals and tennis courts for big kids. They have picnic tables and benchs throughout and over all its just awesome .

We hit softballs this morning and the park looked great. Grass cut and overall the park was very clean!

Nice playground, and walking trails. But the area is a hangout after dark.

Bathrooms are more out of order than in order. When they are open they are dirty

Parking was decent, the grass was mowed and the ladies restroom was clean. The paper towels needed restocking & I believe there was no air dryer. However, it was a fun filled adventure!

Nice park. Plenty of room and playground equipment. Nice Holiday display in December. We went over for the annual Christmas party. Free hot dogs, chili, cookies and drinks. Free carriage rides and Santa Claus himself. This night is packed with people from the area and carriage rides are a favorite of most folks coming. Get there early to sign up for the carriage rides. Four carriages at this years event. Much less waiting in line.

The Friday concert series here is pretty neat and fun for the whole family. It would be nice if there were recycling options since a recycling center is right next door...

Very well maintained. Something for everyone. Walking path, clean male/female restrooms, swings, slides, tennis. Leashed pets allowed, doggie bags provided. Plenty of parking. Open 6 am to ? Pm. Ive always felt safe and secure. Hats off to their maintainence and lawn care folks. Lmpd station is adjacent, so stop in and hug a cop! Best entrance for me is from Briscoe lane that runs into the road that connects outer loop and fegenbush.
