Not a tour, but a tasting experience. The $8 tasting was fun and educational, included two JBeams of increasing proof, one JBeam liqueur, plus a souvenir shot glass with a sample of a JBeam of your choice! They also sell cocktails, bourbon unique to the location, and JBeam paraphenalia.

Another must stop on the distillery trail. The tasting was ok. You taste the standard ones but then they let you pick one taste of whatever you want and you get to keep the glass. They do have a cool experience where you get to fill your own bottle. It doesn’t cost any more to do it if you buy the Urban Bourbon that you can only get there. I highly recommend it, a great experience for any bourbon drinker.

Best bourbon experience to date!!!! The Urban Stillhouse was so much fun. We will definitely be going back. If you don’t have much time they have a very short tasting and Spencer is the best. He is very energetic and knowledgeable about the history of Jim Beam. He is a serious credit to the company. I am going back for the mixology tasting and I want to bottle my own bourbon. If your in Louisville you have to go!

Very cute store where you can buy Jim Beam merchandise and of course various styles of Bourbon! The $5 tasting is well worth it! The presenter was very knowledgeable, fun, and interacted with the group. The souvenir shot glass is a nice touch! You can get a drink, and fill your own bottle and even have it engraved for a special memory.

This was a very neat place. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Bar to purchase different drinks. Different varieties of Jim Beam to purchase. Also different tasting opportunities. I participated in the Taste of History. 4 different samples of different Jim Beam bourbon and a lesson on what makes it a bourbon.

I did the Cocktail Class and bottled my own Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse Select Bourbon. The Cocktail Class, (Cost $25), was a solo, which I appreciated them doing for just me, led by Donald. He took me through quite a bit of American History, Bourbon History and Cocktail History, particularly around the Old Fashion, which was the drink we were making. He walked me through the steps to make the drink and explained each ingredient along the way and we ended up making a pretty good Old Fashion with Knob Creek Double Barreled Rye. Afterwards, I got a rocks glass and Donald answered my questions about other Jim Beam Bourbon offers. After that, another blonde girl whose name I didnt catch, walked me through the process of labeling and bottling my own exclusive, Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse Select Bourbon. (Cost was $48 for 750ml) The went pretty quick and she helped me fix my label when needed and at the end of it, I had my own personally labeled bottle.

Very informative and friendly knowledgeable staff. $6 tasting gives you 4 quarter ounce pours and you get select one which is awesome. Try a whiskey youve been wanting to try without buying the whole bottle. You can also try a cocktail for only $8. I was tempted. Some of the bottles you can probably get cheaper at a liquor store off the tourist strip if youre a local. Nice clean spot.

Wanted to do the tasting but told they had a large group coming in and it was not available. Was told I could still do the tasting but had to go the bar and pay additional. Why would I should I pay more for something. The website said the tasting is available during hours. Need to change your website. I was also going to do the fill your own bottle. Lost my sale that day and future sales. Go to Evans Williams or Angel’s Envy.

A great atmosphere for any Bourbon lover. The $8 tasting is great with a lot of Bourbon knowledge as well as history of the Jim Beam brand. The tasting includes 4 drinks and a take home shot glass. If youve got extra time you can order custom made drinks with any Jim Beam Whiskey as well as shop their Bourbon collection and buy merchandise. I was visiting the city for a conference. I saw a sign outside that advertised for personalization on a bottle of bourbon! My colleague and I entered the business. The manager greeted us and I explained that I wanted to personalize a bottle to take home to my father. I told him I was unsure of what exactly I wanted on the bottle. He created a design within a matter of a minute. He went a step further and asked what my father’s interests were. He looked on his phone, found an image, and uploaded it for me. He also mentioned that I could bottle my own for no extra cost. I was blown away by the generosity of all the staff, especially the manager for taking the time out to help me. I would totally recommend this establishment. Thank you again, my favorite activity in Louisville, this far!!

Fun way to taste and learn about Kentucky Bourbon. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The team members leading the tastings are knowledgeable. And yes you get to keep you souvenir shot glass afterward. For a great gift idea, dont just buy a bottle when you can have it etched. Yes, they offer etching! My gifts came out great. Parking is just what you would anticipate in a big city tourist area. JB is right in the center of the area. Its best to plan to park at any of the nearby pay to park locations as there are plenty, then its just a short walk but youll pass lots to see on the way.

This place appears to be a restaurant but it is not. We went to have drinks. When you walk in there is no one to great you. There is a open gift shop and tiny 3 seat bar that looked as if a couple was having a private tasting. There were picnic tables roped off and a young grill asking if we any one else was there for the tasting. Since we were not we couldn’t sit down. Finally we find the small corner of the bar you could order a drink. There was only one person helping us (6 in our party) and the service was so slow the first person who got a drink finished before the 5th person got theirs. Unless Jim Beam is your favorite I would skip this place.

Having been to the distillery in Clermont, this place is an awesome addition to fourth street live in Louisville. There is not much you can do for free these days... But if youre of age, come in--- flash an ID, and get yourself four samples of Kentucky Bourbon...for free! Also lots of great information on the Bourbon distilling process and a Stillhouse Bourbon unique to this location. I highly recommend you swing by if youre in the area.

The Stillhouse is a nice store front for Jim Beams products. It is not a typical distillery that you can tour, but you can do tastings, buy merch, and learn a little bit more about Jim Beam products here. The tasting we took part in was hosted by a knowledgeable and friendly woman whose name escapes me. This is a nice sanitized mini version of a working distillery. Location on Fourth St Live is killer. Why didnt someone think of this earlier? There are some obligatory consumerisms like filling your own bottle. Tasting was nice but somewhat uninspiring. You get three sips of things chosen for you and a fourth you get to pick. You do get a unique commemorative shot glass which is actually pretty nice. Items for sale in the store are things you would actually want and not really over-priced.

The place was in a nice and clean entertainment district. It was definitely not any sort of stillhouse that would exist for actual production of adult beverages in your imagination. I was thinking it would be something Raylan Givens would frequent, but its just way too touristy (which makes sense because I was a tourist...). Im not knocking it at all. I totally liked the place and the experience. The people that work there REAAAALLY know their bourbon. The bar is cool and it has a fun class where you make your own specialty sour with all kinds of history mixed in. It is designed to be a tourist joint, but dont judge it by that.
