Its a really clean theater. The customer service was great. This is one of the first theaters I have been to that had electric recliners that brought your feet all the way up. The seats offer plenty of room for people of various sizes. The concession stand is...amazing. They have great combo deals and lots of selections to choose from. Oh. They have a good selection of alchohol beverages on tap and in the bottle. The alchohol isnt cheap though but its a nice option to have. Me and my family will definitely be returning for sure.

What a place. This is my new favorite theater. Clean, helpful staff and the reclining seats wow. Only problem is staying awake.

Always comfy and clean. Staff is good on the days I go, normally on the cheaper Tuesdays. Premium prices for a premium viewing experience. Food and beer on tap is good, prices are what you would expect from a theater. Not very packed unless you try to go on opening night or something.

I dont go very often but tonight was a disappointment with the theater. This is suppose to be one of the best and it needs help... the seats are getting worn out and the floor is getting gross. If they would spend some time, effort and some money on cleaning it could be a lot nicer.. I will definitely try another theater next time. Xscape please clean your seats and your floors !!!

Huge theater at a good price even at peak times. But you can go on Tuesdays for extra savings. Parking lot is a bit small, but thats not a big deal really. Staff could stand to be more friendly.

Came at 11:20 AM showing on a Monday. Only one other couple in the movie theatre. The reclining seats were most comfortable. May have been my most enjoyable movie experience. Already planning on going to our next movie.

Very nice comfortable cinema experience. Awesome surround sound. Although I dont believe they have the advertised ceiling speakers. The theater is easy to access. In spite of me using a cane. Definitely a top choice entertainment experience.

Escape is a great theater to go see a movie. Ticket prices are good. Concessions are a little more than Id want to pay.

Clearly one of the nicest theaters in the entire city. The plush, tall seats that you can literally sit back and relax fill the theaters here. Screens larger than any Ive seen in the area. The facilities themselves are very clean and the parking lot is very organized as well.With all the perks comes the caution to make sure you get there earlier as this facility is very popular for the entire city. Parking is sometimes scarce and some lines have the potential to be longer than expected.

Lost my wallet there a few months back. The staff waited after hours to deliver it to me. Honest people. Of course it is a great place to see a movie too.

Havent been to a movie theater in the long time it was nice to sit back and relax and recline in the chair. But I didnt like having to pick my seat before I went into the theater. Next thing youll know youll start getting charged by the location of the seat

This would be 5 stars except I keep experiencing lenses that are not in focus, so my supposed to be crisp 4k experience is more like 1080p. A bit underwhelming when my 4k tv at home looks better.

Luv this place and the seats. Luv the fact that they hire disabled people and care about the community. Louisville has a lot of movie theaters to choose from, but we only like to see movies here.... and they DEF have the BEST seats! We go to the movies almost every Saturday and this is our FAVE.As of 8/15/20, still not open cant wait to get back in there

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here. And while I wish the prices weren’t so steep they’re at market price for movies today. And the quality of the facilities far surpasses that of their competitors

Recliners like home, yes! Beer and wine, yes! Good movies, YES! Complete with the overpriced candy, drinks, and popcorn. But thats everywhere. If I want to see a movie this is where I go. None of my friends can talk me out of it.

This is the only theater we like to go to. They have really comfortable reclining seats. Very clean atmosphere. There is a big variety at the concession stand. We always bring a small blanket & recline back & enjoy the movie like we are at home.

Lines were not long and it was easy to pick up our prepurchased tickets. Love the comfortable seats at the theater. They recline further back than Tinseltown. Enjoyed our time at the movies yet again.

The seats are comfortable but I thought it was overpriced. And if you are an allergy sufferer, there is a visible amount of dust on almost everything! And I expected the restrooms to be cleaner

Best movies theatre in KY

Upon entering there was a single staff member at the concessions. She was inundated in preparing made to order food and had a very long line.Finally someone else showed up to help. The drink counter was covered in coke syrup and popcorn and was disgusting.We proceeded to the theater where the door was shut. We entered the theater that had not been cleaned. Coke cups, water bottles and popcorn bags everywhere.This is the most disgusting theater I have been to. They are clearly understaffed. This was my first time here and will certainly be my last.

On New Year’s Eve me and my family went here to see jumnji 2 and there was this rude family that came up and just told us to move and my mom said no cause we bought the seats then he went to go get the manager, the manager told us to sit on row G or leave so we went to row G and my mom asked for her money back because of the thing that just happened and in order for her to do that she had to leave and the other family didn’t even stay for the movie. The manager was just rude. They even threatened to call the police. So we’re not ever gonna go back there and I hope they loose a lot of money from that and apparently the manager has no respect for his costumers. They also paused the whole movie just to cheaply everybody in the theatre tickets. So I am warning you guys of the disrespect that they showed us.

Bought tickets online in #9...the recliner seats for wheelchair accessible D1, D2 & D3. Seats D2 & D3 were broken down and remained in recline mode like the backs were broken. Luckily we moved to the middle section and was able to enjoy the movie. Such a shame because its a new theater and the price around $13 per person.

I love this theater! Its always quick to check in and get tickets, get food and drinks then get into movie. Fair pricing on food and drinks but not for a full family. The seats are comfortable and recline back, which is amazing. The surround sound they have makes it seem like youre in the movie!

Great place. seats were very comfortable. screens was huge, restrooms was clean and handy for someone who is older or might have a disability, staff was nice.

Normally a nice experience. Today however, not so much. Movie start time was 7:40. As of now its 8:25 and still no movie. Must be trying to find a 6 year old to reboot the computer.

This is a good Theatre Ive been to a few times. The recliner seats are very nice and very comfortable. The seats also give you plenty of room to move around and the theater is not too crowded. They also have some of the largest screens in the Louisville area. However the ticket prices are pretty expensive comparative to the other theaters in the area and other theaters are starting to also have recliner seats.

We had a great time here. The recliner seats are so comfy! Ticket prices are average. For my family of 4 it cost $45 for tickets. Consessions are ridiculously over priced as usual. Popcorn wasnt great. When I asked for popcorn salt the cashier could not comprehend what I was asking for. (Average teenage employees)

I have back issues. 1st time I have gone to a movie theater in about 10 years. I was able to remain in the lounge chair the entire movie without having to walk around!

First and foremost the popcorn was horrible and in my opinion this is a major part of the experience. The get through the lines quick at the snack bar. I dropped some change out of my pocket and I was super surprised at how dirty the seats are when you look down in them. Theatre seat A1.

I like to go on a weekday and enjoy a Tuesday special. We bring our blankets and kick back while Dad is at work.

The place was clean very nice seating the concession is a little pricey but ok the popcorn was not that warm but everything else that we got was good for that price I think the popcorn should have been fresher it tasted like it was made the day before

Fast and easy to get your tickets, the line for the snacks was fast, popcorn was great. Movie overall was awesome, they had reclining cushion seats that were perfect, sounds system to the movie was great overall a great experience to being your family. We will definitely be coming back!

I always LOVE coming to this theatre! Comfortable seats, real food, friendly staff. I love the fact that the seats recline and you can get cozy in the chairs. The only thing missing is heated seats! That would make this place even better!Concessions are expensive but thats like all movie theaters. But the quality of the food is quite good. I always get the soft pretzels or pretzel bites and they are always hot and delicious.

This theater is the epitome of modern. Seats that are luxury seats, reclining, alcohol being served. But, I picked a chair in a theatre as your now required to do and it was moderately broken. It was still comfortable just the reclining function only half worked. The floors were moderately sticky. The snacks were overpriced like many theatres. The soda area was kind of grody, and the butter machine for popcorn 75% of which were out or didnt work. Plus the tickets were more expensive. I.may is this theatre again but I would prefer other theatres in the area.

Best in Louisville. Bring a blanket and pillow for the kids. Excellent power reclining seats. We typically go early to buy tickets, then eat nearby before heading back. I have seen movies here on their first day and their last week, no issues and no complaints.The only negative is the cost and particularly the refreshments cost. That unfortunately is true of most all theaters today.

Recently went to see the latest version of Star Wars. We purchased the tickets online. However, when we got there, we realized that there was a special price for seniors on Mondays. I went to the concession stand and the attendant refunded the difference without question.

Love the huge screen and audio along with the amazing recliners. First time i had a beer at the theatre, although $8 each felt steep.

Best theater in the area. Reclining leather seats, smaller crowds, exceptional picture and audio quality. Food prices are expensive but all theaters are. They are on par with others in the area. Very easy to get to with plenty of parking. Staff are efficient and friendly. Bathrooms are very clean. Place is well maintained.

I enjoy visiting Xscape. Other than the fact their prices are slightly higher than a few other theatres. Overall, each theatre is well maintained. The seats are enormously comfy. Sound systems are excellent. However, like most places, the restroom experience can be an adventure in peoples disregard for others.

This theater used to be so nice!! The concession area is the dirtiest I’ve ever seen at a theater. The ice machine was broken, straw dispenser not filled just a box sitting next to it. The grime that is visible makes you want to vomit! Bathrooms are filthy. Popcorn was stale. What happened? Management is clearly not doing their job.

This place is the best theater ever. you can go in you can get popcorn or a pretzel or whatever you want you can also get a beer if youd like. You can take in a blanket and the recliners are wonderful. You go in there you get comfy you pay back and you watch your show. They have two different kinds of theaters one is a Xtreme theater and then the other is a regular theater both are great.

So much fun, nice recliners and they serve beer !

I love going to movies there. I have bad knees so the reclining seats are great. The theater is cleaned after every movie, and if someone 7 ft. tall sits in front of you, you can still see the movie!

Always had a great experience here and loved the seats that leaned back. Although you cant buy the tickets online so, my advice is come early because this theater is really busy. But there are no complaints. Great costumer service and clean.

Few things:Even though you purchase tickets prior to arrival you still have to wait in a ridiculously long line to show proof of purchase and have them printed.Out of 4 fountain drink machines one kind of had ice and one was completely out of order. At 9 dollars a drink you think they’d have ice in one of the 3 somewhat functional ice machines. Workers didn’t seem to want to address this issue. It was a free for all.Bathrooms are gross. Men’s restroom had only one working faucet out of three and only a handblower, no paper towels.Theater itself was dirty. We were last here on a busy Saturday night. Get it together guys.This place was quite nice when it first opened but now it’s starting a steep decline. For as busy as it is I’m surprised they are so understaffed and there are so many things broken and in need of repair. Will start going somewhere else.

First time to visit this locale. It was on a Sunday matinee and we were absolutely pleased. Yes, popcorn drinks blah blah are overpriced that is EVERYWHERE. It was the staff who were mannerly and the movie experience was top notch. We have avoided movies due to the comfort of them...However this theater just changed that. When I saw people coming in with blankets even a pillow (small) I thought hmmm?Enter my new theater room!!!Recline, relax, and just forget about the world for a couple of hours.After this visit, no other theater will compare!
