The best!! Been all around the country, Cinemark is our most comforting place to visit, and grateful that they serve Orville Redenbacher popcorn, also the best!! Not a problem being crowded right now b/c of pandemic, so no anxiety, and now they have affordable options to rent out a theater for up to 20 people with quite a few titles to choose from!

Went here today to watch The Invisible Man. The movie was good. The theater was clean and seat was comfortable. Im happy.

Would have rated higher but the tray at the assigned seat had not been cleaned or saniized from.the last person who had sat there. It was up at the top row so maybe the person cleaning was too lazy to get the top rows?

First movie in the theater since COVID was a good experience. Only 4 people in the movie, so it felt pretty safe.

This is the only movie theater where I watch movies in Louisville. I like the taste of their popcorn and ICEE. The seats are luxurious. The cinema is clean and well maintained.

Great movie theater. They have really nice theaters, theyre clean, and the bathrooms are huge and clean too. Its almost always busy, so make sure you get here a little early if you need food or drink before the movie (especially during peak hours.)

Seats are very comfortable. Like that they have attached trays for snacks, but if youre not eating that can also be an annoyance. Picture & sound quality excellent. But no matter how much I like it, 4 stars is the best Ill give. I realize they need to make a profit. But Im also aware of what the food cost is on their snacks & think the pricing is outrageous.

I have been going to Tinseltown 2x a month for years. Really not happy with having to pick seating in advance, but went along with it. Started purchasing tickets on line. Picked the date of movie and seats. My confirmation showed date of purchase, not date of movie. Ok, asked if we could pick seats and see movie anyway. Was told No Refund. Under new corporate management, not their problem. I’ve purchased tickets many, many times and was always told if you don’t use them, no problem, I can get refund or movie pass. This time I’m told policy’s have changed. No posting on website or anywhere at ticket booth. But they’d be happy to sell me 3 more tickets. Seriously? I had receipt showing I’ve already spent $30.00 on a movie I haven’t seen. Sadly, the last time we’ll go to Tinseltown. Need to post changes in policies, and train managers on how to communicate ( shrugging shoulders doesn’t count).

Movies are hella expensive these days. But over all they provide a great amount of entertainment and the theater seats are super comfortable. I am a heavy set person and there is lots of room. I enjoy being able to put my feet up. Kid has fun watching her favorite characters on the big screenFood and drinks are expensive.

Theaters are clean and cushy thanks to the (newer) remodeling. Discount Tuesdays are great to take advantage of! My favorite theater in the Louisville area.

Really like tinsel town theatre. Popcorn is always fresh & the facility is clean. Very comfortable seats.

PROS: Good building. Good theaters. Good variety of movies playing.CONS: Ticket prices seem to be rising. All day discount Tuesdays seem to be gone. Concessions keep getting more expensive.

Our favorite theater. We drive over 25-30 minutes to this theater because of the cleanliness and the smaller theaters. Plus the chairs are awesome!!

My granddaughter loved the big chairs and the tray to hold her popcorn !!!!

I love the new seating. The chairs are incredibly comfortable. They even recline and have a leg rest. Being able to choose your seat is also amazing. As long as you get your tickets early enough you can get a great seat. My only complaint is that the food trays attached to all three of our chairs were dirty, sticky, or had crumbs on them.

The walls in this theatre are paper thin, we had to listen to the movie in the next us for half our movie. Which was incredibly annoying. The movie ends, we go up to the counter and tell the employees of the issue. They were aware, didnt care, and said since we watched the whole movie there wasnt anything they could do for us. We didnt ask them to do anything in the 1st place. Horrible theater experience. I wont be going back.

Really nice theater. The place is huge. All of the screens have the luxury lounger seating with a little table attached. Ticket prices were average $10.00 for an adult. Buying tickets online you choose your seating. Which you should stick to where youve picked. A few people were asked to move. Overall enjoyed the visit!** I gave 4 stars for the consession prices. Large popcorn shouldnt be $6.50, a large soda shouldnt be $6.50. Ticket prices are one thing. To profit 5000% off food is crazy!

First time visiting this location. While some staffing looked a little disappointed to be there on the holiday, we appreciated the great service we received. Had 10 people in my group, and we were all seated with our snacks in plenty of time for the movie to start.

Digital cinema theaters are somewhat smaller- but less likely to sell out the center seats with good distance from the screen so that was good.Some seats dont seem to sit up all the way. And you cant recline all the way in the rear row without blocking part of the screen with the barrier between you and the row in front of you.Overall good experience.

Clerks were efficient at the popcorn stand and rapidly moved the lines. Theater was clean and recliner chair was comfortable and had room for people to pass by without stepping over my feet (6 feet tall)

Great theater and their employees are always friendly. Ive had multiple back surgeries and its hard to sit for long periods of time but their soft recliners make it possible for me to sit through the entire movie without have to get up and move around for a bit and miss half the movie

The best popcorn in town!

Poor set up wanted to take my child to see frozen two and they said me and my 5 year old kid would have to sit a row away from each other. Why are they letting people buy tickets that cause single seating to happen.

One of my favorite places to see a movie. Dont forget to bring a large storage container to keep your popcorn fresh.

DH and I saw Avengers Endgame yesterday. Tinseltown has become our new favorite location for movies due to the ability to purchase tickets online as well as reserve our seats. The only issues I had was the bathroom was a bit... questionable as far as cleanliness. (In fairness this is opening weekend for Avengers so crowds were significantly heavy for a matinee showing. Id have a hard time as well keeping up with the state of the bathrooms with a crowd like yesterday.). I additionally found the temperature in the theater to be painfully hot. (A chronic problem.). I spoke with a staff person and apparently they got someone on the problem quickly as the place cooled off quickly.

I didnt know theaters could be so clean and have such comfy seating! I am very impressed and we will be returning. We went here for our 2 year anniversary, and were very pleased.

Just dont bother buying a beer. Unsurprisingly they dont know what size cups to give or how to pour a beer. I ordered two of the same size and she gives me two different size cups. The guy in front of me was complaining that he paid for the largest size and she didnt give him what he paid for either. Disappointing since youre paying a mint already.

They have converted over to reserved reclining seats. It is great for comfort and concession purchase time but more shows will be sold out as there are fewer seats per auditorium.

Always go there - for sure It is the only place in Louisville who brings Bollywood - Hindi movies. Loves the new Chair. Kids enjoy lot every time.

This is my local theater. As much as I enjoy the new recliners, I do not enjoy having to plan so far ahead to get a seat. They have easily decreased seating by 2/3 to get these recliners. Gone are the days of just going to the movies, you have to try and get a ticket a day or two in advance, especially if its something somewhat new. The popcorn is great though, and I always get a large and take the refill home for later.

Great theatre and best was that recipients recliners.. number of seats are less but its great. One of the few theatres in Louisville to have Hindi movie shows scheduled (Y)

Awesome theater that Ive been going to since the late 90s. They evolved with the times and have tailored the atmosphere to reach forward into theater futurism. Great food bar and all alchohol served for adults. Nice quantities for a fair price. An the screens and chairs are completely up to date with today standards (2019). Will continue to go here as long as it exists!

Everything was easy...plenty of parking, lines were short, yummy popcorn, excellent recliner seats, seats were spacious, plenty of room between seats, duel cup holders...one for beer and one for water, great sound system and clean bathrooms!

Saw Bad Boys for life. My home theatre...just need to replace carpeting in general walkways...big dirty spots.

Always a great time. Great options for food & drinks. Starbucks, shakes, chili cheese fries. You get a lot for the money you spend & the tray at the recliner seats makes it convenient. Normally a popcorn & soda man, but its nice to have the option.

Good place. But the refreshments are pricy. 2 large drinks and 1 large popcorn for approximately 19$. Seats are clean and comfy.

The place far exceeded my expectations. In the past theaters were dumps where one would be stepping in other peoples trash and filth. Tinseltown is exceptionally clean. They have lounge chairs and large screens. I was impressed with the sound quality. Clear and if the character in the movie was talking from a different location the sound made. It feel like the character was near by. If youre an avid movie goer there are unadvertised specials and future events.

Bessssst thing EVER. Beautiful: food, drinks, retail and more! Im a movie connoisseur and this theatre (complete with leather, reclining, oversized lounge chairs and extra leg room) met all my expectations. They even have special showings of concerts, ballets and old moviesin a handy dandy catalogue. Reserve your seats and they come as low as 6$ for a matinee.

Great place for movies you can purchase tickets in advance select the seats you prefer I believe they have an app for that reclining seats with a tray and cupholder they have a studio concession that serves icecream and other food items and some coffee drinks in addition to normal concession stand tables and chairs in lobby area includes small arcade room

Favorite Movie Theater in Louisville. Great quality food, decent prices compared to everywhere else, fantastic seats, love the assigned seating (though that does make movies sell out faster), and love the classic feel of the theater exterior. Would go here any day, any time. (Plus they still have $5 Tuesdays!) Good Rewards Program too.

My family and I love this theater, especially since they added reclining seats and individual tabletops. Each viewing area now holds less seating with more leg room... harkening back to the glory days of cinemas with its more intimate setting. Worth the price of admission.

The recliner seating is the best in the area. You have so much space and there is a lot of room between you and the people in front of and behind you. Also the reserved seating is nice.

A great place to see first run movies.

Pretty standard theater. Nice reclining leather seats. Movie was advertised as 3D but we found that it wasnt. Nowhere to recycle glasses like Ive seen at some theaters. Insane food prices, but pretty standard. Arcade was actually nice! Cost $1 total for me and son to have a motorcycle race. I was expecting $3-4.

This theater has so many nostalgic memories for me. My Papa and my dad both brought me here growing up. It’s my favorite theater in the area. They recently remodeled the theaters and put in new reclining seats.

The seating is amazing in there. I love the comfy chairs! The previews were way too loud. The movie was fine though. Its a great place to go with family but I never buy from the concession stand except maybe one item for us to share because its way too expensive. Movie price is okay but they get you with the cost of drinks and food at the concession stand. Otherwise its a great place to go with friends or family!

This is a great theater with reclining seats. The concessions has lots to offer. I like that you can make reservations. It is nice to know you can get a good seat before you go to the theater and not have to wait an hour in line hoping to get a good seat. Thank you Tinseltown for taking reservations!! I hope you will put one of your theaters in the Indiana side of the river! We need one badly!!

Hadnt been to this theater in a while. New power recliners were nice. Plenty of room and the trays are a nice feature!

As a movie club member, this location had been my go-to theatre, until my last visit, when I found a strand of hair in my popcorn. However, I only found it after pulling it out of my mouth, midway through partially ingesting some of the popcorn, and nearly the hair!!! I pulled it out of my mouth, wrapped it in a napkin, and took it up there to the concession stand, along with the popcorn for a refund. The manager (I’m assuming that’s who it was) refunded my money without incident, as it was clear the hair wasn’t mine, as mine is black, and that hair was blonde. It really baffles me why the people that work the concession stand are not required to wear hairnets, or adequately secure their hair in place to avoid such instances, as clearly those hats are not sufficient enough. This experience has left me scarred, and I will not be returning to this location!

I absolutely love this theater! I love the size, the arcade and the many concession stands they offer and the variety of foods. Plus the small bar. My absolute favorite is the reserved seating they offer. Its like sitting at home watching a movie on a large screen.

I have not been to the movies for years. I never felt comfortable in the theater.The lounge chairs are great! No more straining to see over the tall person in front of me. I will definitely be going to more movies now.

This place is ok and better price than other Cinemarks I just wish they would asked me for my reward scan because I always forget to use it

The chairs are the most comfortable movie theater seating youre going to find in the area, they have electric recline and footrest and are padded, synthetic leather which have a tray that swings in and out. Top notch. My only complaint is that it is SO LOUD. My 6 month old was screaming crying because he was so scared. I mean, I probably shouldnt have taken him but as a Mom of two whose 6 year old wanted to see a movie pretty bad, you do things you know arent a great idea and make the best of it. As always, be prepared to spend an arm and a leg for food & drink. $25 for 4 drinks and a big carton of popcorn. The butter is just butter flavored oil that really doesnt have much flavor at all. I still ate it but geez.

Horrible experience. A couple was able to bring an infant and a toddler into Pet Sematary, a rated R horror film. Their children cried and babbled through the whole movie. It turned out that all staff in the front had simply left the building, allowing them to enter unhindered, and ensuring there was absolutely nobody to bring up the issue with. Had to leave the theater early after searching for a staff to help and finding none, since the children were obviously upset and others in the theater were staring in their direction as well. Absolutely poor customer service and dreadful to allow so-called parents to bring toddlers to a horror film.

First time being there. The floors in the hallways were covered in popcorn and trash. The seats in the theater were just as bad. Employees were just standing around talking instead of trying to clean anything.

Wow! This is the best way to describe this theater. By far the best place to watch a movie ever. *Hint* Buy your tickets ahead of time at Costco.

The seats were very comfortable. The screen size was perfect for a movie. They also have Quality staff. I told them about any issue, they took care of it insanely. I give this place a 10/10

Really clean theater (although restroom was a different story). Loved the seating and the recliner chairs were perfect after a morning of site seeing. Ticket prices were reasonable, the concession stand prices caught me off guard being that steep but Im thinking of getting a membership for the discount. All in all a great experience!
