The park is nice and I love going there for my dog and to see others as well. I’ve gone here for about a year but stopped since covid. I went yesterday and it seems like me and my boyfriend were the only ones wearing masks so just be aware most people that come here don’t care about that.

I used to walk this ground a long time ago and it is still a quiet interlude in the midst of the sprawling mess that is Leesburg. The pond is beautiful in the spring before the algae goes crazy and covers the entire surface.

It’s a pretty non-descript dog park. There are two areas, one for big dogs and one for smaller. If you are coming for the first time, it is tucked down a side road that says “no outlet.” I nearly turned around but followed the road on the off chance it would get to a dog park. Sure enough, down a one lane road and at the top of a hill, tucked in a corner of the parking lot is the dog park. The people we met were friendly, and so were their dogs. The only reason it lost a star is because of how difficult it was to find.

Lovely wooded dog park. Definitely a cut above the standard fenced in grass lot you see most places.

So take that as it is. A fun park, set up with benches, water, a small dog park along with a big and small dog park attached. Good group of donkey parents that go there, they were quite friendly when I was meeting them for the first time. The dogs were very cute! Very cute and very friendly, not an aggressive one in the bunch. Granted I could go when it was slow and Ive only been there once, so take that as it is. I will update my review Once I go there more.

Nice spacious dog park with the usual amenities like separate big and small dog areas, water and benches. The only downside is the benches could be a obstacle hazard when the dogs are running. I saw several dogs nearly run into them.

We were really sad when the One Loudoun dog park closed. Forced to chose between South Riding and this, this won because it’s usually busier and has water. Most of the dog owners are really chill too.

Great place to take dogs because of the dog park here. Right now the rest of it is looking weary from the long hot summer including the pond which is smelly and scummy.

They need to put new fill down in the dog park. They brought a truck last year and just dumped it in one spot. They need to actually put it all over the entire dog park. If it had been raining and it had been filled properly, then the dogs wouldnt leave the dog park totally covered in mud. Right now theres mud and puddles deep all over the place at the dog park. It needs to be properly cared for. The only thing good about it is that the dogs get to go up there and run around. It could be bigger. Theres more room there that they could use. And it could be better cared for.

It is a great dog park better than the one located next to One Loudoun. They have doggy bags and water for your furbabies. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run as it is one big open field and few picnic tables for people to sit on.However, the picnic tables are not that clean I typically bring something to sit on or I wipe it off with Clorox. It does get super muddy after it rains. I havent seen any major altercations between the dogs. My pet peeve are the dog owners. Some dog owners are too busy chatting, on their phones or just looking opposite directions from their dog and miss picking up the dog poo. There has been a lot of dog poo recently and the mulch needs to be replenished.

This park is a small gem. It is right off Route 7 and has a large dog park with a small dog area. There is a water source pulling from a well to refill the dog bowls there and the people who bring their dogs there are great. I try to go to this park whenever possible despite it not being the closest to my house.

Olde Izaak Walton used to be our favorite park in the area, but now there is construction going on right behind it and that really takes away from how beautiful and peaceful the park used to be. Not to mention the general public doesnt care and leaves their empty beer bottles/cans all over the place.

There are aspects of this dog park that I like, and certain things that I dont like. I do recommend this park to those who simply want their dog to socialize with other dogs.Pros: The dog park is very large, so it could host many dogs. There are trees surrounding the fenced in area, so there are shaded areas for sunny days. There are a few picnic tables and places for dog owners to sit. There is a water faucet, communal water bowls and dog bath available. There is a smaller separate section for small dogs weighing 25 pounds and under. There are plenty of dog waste stations (poop bags and trash cans).Cons: The dog park does not have grass, but it has small sticks and wood chips covering the area. This dog park does not have agility equipment. For the size of the park, there could be more seating areas for dog owners.

Wanted my dog to socialize with other dogs, learned that aggressive dogs here are the norm. Warning to other new owners, do NOT take your dog here. Too many casual owners who dont know s--t about dog group behavior or psychology.

I have taken my dog Zeus there almost every day for coming on 5 years. I recommend it to everyone I meet -that has a dog. When I first moved here and didnt know anyone the 9am group became my friends and local guides. It didnt matter our backgrounds. We all had dogs that needed to run. They became a pack, all while new dogs joined and other left. You have to be respectful to the other owner, the park and to the dogs and then it is all fun. Even if you are on your cell, or talking with people you just met, keep and eye for when your pup goes poop. They have recycled bags and cans right here. The dogs in the evening do tend to be more high spirited because owners were at work all day. If you or your dog are timid, earlier is better. Same with weekends.I have only met one dog whose owner was asked not to come back with him. Every once in a while dogs need to be separated. Use common sense and all is good. Leave if there is a problem but be sure to come another time. They are dogs. I usually find that the dogs work it out but it is the owner that is worried for them. Dont be. They know the rules and will figure it out on their own.Dont bring food or treats, and kids under 8 can not go in. It is for their safety. When the more muscular dogs start chasing and playing they come fast and can take your feet out from under. There is water and a hose. Lots of shade and even a pond with a walking path for after they blow off steamPlease come. The dog park in Leesburg is the great ethnic equalizer. So long as you come with a dog ready to have fun. Cultural and pup diversity is alive and well.Almost forgot, there is now a fenced area for small dogs.Come have fun! My dog is Zeus. Husky German Shepard in pics.

Amazing place to take a dog...I would recommend starting the younger dogs off at a dog park with a section for smaller dogs to allow them to acclimate to the socialization of other dogs...any aggressive dogs should not be allowed at any dog park...there owners should be aware of the dogs personality and weather there dog can play with others in an appropriate manor
