A plesant place for a stroll with friends, family or with pets. There is a pretty big enough play area for kids.A small picnic area that seats about 20-30 people next to the play area that is covered.A mini hiking trail that goes parallel with the river. The trek area does have some steep slopes.
Nice, new neighborhood park.Main feature is a cute playground for younger children. Surrounding woods shade the area in mornings and evenings so it is less hot. Small picnic pavilion with 6-8 tables (can’t recall exactly) can be reserved. Only 1 grill. Access to hiking trails for Balls Bluff and connecting parks along the Potomac.Parking lot has limited space for maybe 15 cars?No restrooms or water fountains that I could see.
The playground is fine, but the trail system is really what makes this a great park. Good trails for kids and for running and they connect over to balls bluff park.
Winded up going off trail purposely by the river. crazy steep climb to get back to the trail. made it more fun.
Great neighborhood park and playground with trails into the regional park to the river.
Great park with covered picnic pavillion, large grassy fields and playground area to entertain the kids, and walking trails. There is plenty of parking and a porter john as well. Great way to spend the afternoon with the kids and family.
This is beautiful. Dont come here, go find your own beautiful hideaway!
Nice place to enjoy nature on multiple trails
Very nice
Nice park, nice trails
Decent trails but poorly marked. Make sure you have an idea where youre going ahead of time
Nice park for the kids with nice trails that lead to both Balls Bluff and Edwards Landing parks
Excellent play area, lots of hiking, medium pavilion for parties.
Great trails. Good for trail running.
Great park with a natural feel to it. Surrounded by trees with no fence make it feel like it belongs there. There are also hiking trails that lead on short hikes or you can hike to Great Falls. My 3 year old loves and there are usually good kids there for her to play with.
Great park with trails, a pavilion, and lots of stuff for kids to play on.
Cute park, clean and a friendly environment
Very nice little park with the kids. Its not fenced in so Im not given it five stars. But its clean. Theres a picnic area with barbecue stands. And its also a port O potty. Its completely surrounded by trees, so its kind of private. And also a place to park.
A couple of different climbers and a merry go round, covered picknick area and trails leading into the forrest nearby. Peaceful, nice area for kids.
This padk is a hidden gem. Play structures available forultiple age ranges. Covered picnic area that you can reserve in the warm months. And hiking trails that will take you to the Balls Bluff Regional Park too!
I bought my family and friends here because of the rating. But because of one white guy in a pick up truck staring at the kids, we had to leave.Creepy guy. Kept on staring at us while we were getting in the car. Beware.. predator.
Great park with walking trails, enough playground for the 3 to 9 year olds to stay interested and busy for an hour (or more) and covered picnic area with small grill for families snacks and/or meals.
Great place to access the trail network. Great playground for a good range of ages.
Good place to relax and be outside
Very nice park, little bit crowded, call ahead to reserve
Quaint local park. A hidden gem. Great for picnics and has a good play ground.
So many paths, great for kids to explore or just unplug.
Great place excellent food
A small playground for kids, not that much big we were expecting. Park entrance is from residential area with few parking spaces. There are few trails for hiking behind the playground but dont tried those.
Toddler and bigger kids playground, hiking, and a shelter for BBQs or parties!
We were refused to sit at a picnic table. A lady claims the park was reserved.
Used to have free parking. Now there is a pay to park machine, but you can still get to the Mall from there
A very nice park in Leesburg.
Quick, beautiful walk
Great place to take the kids
Standard
Its a little park, but it connects with a lot of trails behind it.
Empty park no maintenance
