The park is indeed a hidden gem in the NOVA region. Clean. Pristine. Natural. Winding paths, maze of trails, a view of Harrison island, the full expanse of the Potomac flowing in all its glory, historic structures well preserved to date making it a photographers hangout (we saw 4 professional photographers as we entered), fallen trees that dot the course...what else can one ask for amidst the hustle and bustle of existing and upcoming concrete jungles that line up Ashburn? The get away is a trail runners paradise and you cant ask for more yellows in the fall than what this park offers. Use address from Nova park website and not by looking up for the overlook on Google maps which guides you into Loudoun Waters treatment plant. Happy hiking!
Beautiful views. Usually very peaceful and quiet.
I took many a stroll while visiting with family in Leesburg. Only drawback is that its right next to one of the Orange Hamberdlers golf courses. Or would have been 5
Very pretty trail
Quick hike to a pretty overlook.
Great spot for geocaching
