This is a great hotel where you can relax and have a great time while in Las Vegas. A wide range of amenities are offered here at a reasonable price. This is a great place that gives you a comfortable place to stay while not having to leave the Las Vegas Strip. Highly Recommended.
The Royal Resort is an older Hotel off the strip. It is in remarkably good condition and the rooms are being remolded, an area at a time. At first glance the grounds and exterior look very well kept! The inside area is very beautiful. It has a restaurant inside. We did not eat there. Expect to drop a lot on a meal. Steaks were around $55.00 +. ($$$$) Look like in its prime they had a full size bar and conference room. But for now it was being used as open storage. No breakfast is served. However, using your room key, you get a discount at the Denneys restaurant just down the street in walking distance. The pool was drained. The front desk was very friendly and professional. The room was nice, clean and large. All the front rooms facing the street have balconies. We booked the room on a competitors site. We stayed one night on a Thursday for a very reasonable price. As all hotels in Vegas, the price for weekend stays is considerably higher. We found out from another guest staying in the hotel and by posters in the elevators, that the hotel had a complimentary magic show on most evenings. We felt the front desk could have promoted it more. As we were the only guests in the evening 8pm show. Keeping in mind it was a free show, it was cute and entertaining lasting about 30-45 minutes. We would recommend the Royal Resort for a quiet stay off the strip.
I enjoy are stay for the price. during our stay they were still in the process of renovating the hotel so no resort fees for us that was a big amazing positive. Junior is a really good manager very helpful and kind I appreciate him very much!! Cant wait till you guys open back up so we can come back.
Positive: People on the 8 floor was smoking weed it was not clean at all I do not and the staff was unprofessional.
So glad I found this little gem. Located one block from the strip. Right by the peppermill and the Wynn Casino. They were still doing renovations during my stay. But they put me up in a new room it was great.I cant remember the last time I stayed in the room that actually had a balcony. Room with spacious but simple. Will definitely stay again.
Good location, cheap room $62 per night, decent shower but many issues. Super loud air conditioner, warm room, broken refrigerator, broken light, bad bedding with missing fitted sheet, unaccounted for in the hallway and in the room, very basic room. Left at 2:30 am because was hot and unable to sleep was to hot in the room and continuously running air conditioning unit. All my food in my cooler for spoiled because the fridge would not even turn on. Overall bad experience
My son and I really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was top of the line with customer service and was extremely helpful and delightful the whole time. Although the room was a little small it was perfect for the 2 of us, the beds were extremely comfortable and big, lots of big comfy pillows on both beds and extra blankets, sheets, and towels, pool was nice and the hot tub felt wonderful, whole place was very clean. I would absolutely recommend this place for any visitors. He location is right off the strip and nearby great casinos and stores and restaurants.
Hotel was actually a great value! The room was very spacious and offered a nice balcony to enjoy the view and get some fresh air. The staff was very courteous and helpful as well. Everyone I spoke with was very polite an full of information. Hotel style had a unique charm and was close to the convention center and strip. Check in and out was quick and easy.
Stayed at this hotel for two nights with my boyfriend. I really want to come back for a staycation when we’re not in quarantine because they have a piano in the lobby that would be nice to hear playing, a pool table that would be cool to relax and play, and a cool steakhouse and the pictures of the food look so good. The staff checking us in was very friendly and nice. The room was awesome. The view was the circus circus area and we even had a cool balcony to stand out on. The second night, we had a family with a little kid who was making so much noise and they were so loud you could literally hear everything they were saying. My boyfriend went to the lobby to ask to be moved and the attendant did not hesitate. He even moved us right across the hall so it was easy to move our stuff. That room was even better because it had a microwave, coffee maker, and a mini fridge which our original room did not. I am definitely staying here again!
The overall location was decent if you cant afford, or dont want to afford, a better place. Its low cost to stay there because the location is not the cleanest, not the safest (the elevator was scary)(the 1 of 3 that worked), and if I were to stop in Vegas again I would gladly pay $20/$30 more per night to stay somewhere else. But if budget is your game, this roll of the dice will keep you close to the strip and will have you gambling before your elevator touches the ground...
Great hotel for a good price. The manager Junior was nice and check us in quick and fast. He gave me and my fiancé one of the rooms they have renovated and it is set up very nice. We originally got a king bed but those rooms wasn’t renovated yet. He gave us the best room and we like it. He even offered us room changes if we didn’t like the room, but the new renovations are nicely set up.
Group of 6 stayed for the weekend. Rooms were SO nasty. Looked like it hadnt been properly cleaned in forever! A strangers hair in the sink, shower and bed. Leftover stuff in the fridge from a previous customer too! Never came in to clean or give clean towels during our stay. Booked a big balcony w/ a city view, got stuck with a three inch wide balcony with a view of a parking lot. The worst part; the pictures ARE NOT LEGIT. Do not judge this hotel by their pictures. Definitely false advertisement. All of us agree, we will NEVER book this hotel in Vegas again!
Royal resort. We stayed for 2 nights, Thursday and Friday. Plenty of free parking spots. Nice lobby. Our room was cozy, the furniture and TV seemed to be too old for 2018 though. The bed was hard, not comfy. I can here noises coming from outside at night. I noticed there were not microwave and safe. Found an earwig in the bathroom.... [>
We were traveling during the COVID19 crisis from Seattle area to Phoenix to pick up hubbys mom and bring her home to Washington for a few months! This was hubby and my first time in town and everything is shut down due to this virus! Not knowing anything about the area hubby and I turned to the internet to find a place to stay. The Royal Resort was clean, quiet and reasonably priced for just sleeping as we were just passing through. If we are ever in town again I would think about staying here again.
When I checked into my room, it was very hot. The a/c did not work. So, when I went to inform the front desk, the guy said it was nothing he can do. I asked for another room. He said unfortunately the a/c does not work in all the rooms and then proceeded to tell me how the old pipes work in the building. I asked him how can there be a/c in the lobby and hallways but not in the rooms. He said that they are manually turned on depending on season. At this point I knew he was lying so when I asked for a refund, he said I couldnt because I booked third party and that I needed to contact booking.com. At this point I am upset because I just drove 7 hours to check in and I get treated like this. Meanwhile, while he was busy, I asked the other attendant to let me have another room. She obliged and the a/c was working fine in that room. I will never be staying here again and management, if they care, should do something about this situation. Furthermore, I go to checkout and take my bags to the car then my key card doesn’t work to get back into the room. There was no front desk attendant and the after-hours number went to voicemail. I was locked out of my room and couldn’t leave for an hour. The staff was the biggest problem of my stay. The room was clean and remodeled. Ask for a view facing the street, otherwise they try to book the other rooms first.
Simple but great place to stay in Vegas, not too far from the strip, Walking distance!!Pros: The staff was nice, Very cute hotel...the bed was very comfortable . They are currently remodeling the rooms and I was able to stay in one of the newly remodeled rooms. It was very nice.Cons: No vending machines, there’s no water bottlers or any water fountain! The first night we had 2 bottles of water in our room, the rest of the days no water Bottles! There is a Walgreens across the streets.Overall I would stay here again. I was barely in the room so it was great to just sleep, shower and get ready.
I have had a very pleasant stay in Royal Resort. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning was quiet. This is a no frill place in a quiet location, but very close to the Strip. They dont charge you resort fees, which is fantastic! It is all around value of money hotel, and highly recommended!
Priced low for being near the strip. Two FULL size beds, not queens. Broken TV, TV had a huge crack and colors were gone. Ice machine on floor 6 didnt work either. Pool was under construction and was closed. Online reservation said pool was open. No breakfast. Location was patrolled by security often. Wouldnt stay there again.
Positive: Close to strip. Negative: Need to up date. Very old especially the bed.
It was a good resort/hotel. Something I didnt like was that the toilet flushed slowly, and another thing I didnt like was that the bathtub had no bath mat so it was very slippery with the water and soap hitting the bottom, when the person at the lobby said that we got new rooms. But overall good price for the room you get.
Check in took a while and the keys initially didn’t work! But we had a nice stay — close to the strip but just out of the way enough to get a decent night’s sleep. Quiet and comfortable, even on a holiday weekend.
Rather old one and requires some renovation. But cost to value is quite OK. Near by to Streep. Nice view from room.
Positive: Price was decent, but not worth all the problems I encountered. Negative: Shower curtain rod fell 3 times taking shower, Poor lighting/Murphy bed lighting burnt out, and Maintenance does not arrive to fix problems in room when I had 2 separate issues. Refrigerator wasnt in room upon arrival/I had to tell them to bring one.
Nice location, convenient to the strip and bus lines for easy exploring. Wonderful selection of food within the surrounding block. There was a McDonalds, Dennys, 24-hour Korean BBQ and sushi buffet, authentic taco taco shop, etc.
Great location if you are there for anything going on at the Convention Center. Its about a 10 min walk to the convention center. I believe some rooms and floors have been remodeled and they are in the process of doing the rest of them. Its right off the strip and has easy access for Uber to pick up and drop off. At the time we were there the parking was free as well and without any resort fees. For location and price its a nice stay.
Old hotel (under limited renovation process), with very few amenities. The hotel staff at the reception is not courteous at all (to say the least). I arrived at 1:15pm and they didnt even try to find me a room before the official check-in time of 3pm. Also, they booked me a room for 3 people (2 adults + 1 child) with just one queen size bed.
Good location, a little balcony, and pretty good price but thats about it. Drawers were broken in TV stand, no dresser, towels were dirty, rust in the sink, tiny TV, no blankets unless you ask for them, not enough outlets, lamps have a short (yes both), itty-bitty closet that doesnt close all the way, stained fabric chairs, and ALL the wood furniture is banged up. Ive been here about an hour and already noticed all of this.Update:Rochelle made this stay worth it! She got us a good upgrade and it was a much better room. She was so friendly and helpful!
Avoid this place. The room was not cleaned at all - hair on the bed, pieces of food, fingerprints all over. Called booking.com service and they said we can check-out right away and the refund will be provided after. One month later, several e-mails and calls with booking and despite pictures provided we still did not get any money back.
The hotel is ok. It looks like a simple hotel. But the room has a non working air conditioner and the front desk staff said that the hotel is built to only have the air conditioner run in the summer and not the winter. How ridiculous is that!? So we had to suffer in the hot room all night. The suggestion they have it to open the slider. If you open the slider you hear the road the noise and your neighboring rooms could walk from their patio into your room. If the hotel can’t get an ac working maybe they should consider quitting.
Small nice 100% nonsmoking hotel in Vegas, super clean and comfy bed. Good service of staff and no resort fee! Love it.
Very helpful staff, we had issue about loud music from a room they convinced them and stopped it. Awesome view of the city from the balcony. Perfect location and inexpensive place to stay near downtown
Nice place right off the center of the strip. Nice staff.
Nice place! But as the people in the next room over learned from security, if youre going to smoke weed, better do it on the balcony.
You get what you pay for. I heard the plumbing and traffic at night then thankfully I fell asleep. On the upside its cheap, clean and not at all far from the strip. Just make a left and another left to be at main las Vegas strip. Its definitely better than some of circus circus rooms.
Jus fabulous hotel..welcomebk casinos and hotels!
Best budget hotel. Doesnt have resort fees. So you can save a ton
2nd time staying here and I have no issues. Even though its older, the prices are excellent and extremely quiet! I can sleep with no noises whatsoever. Thank you Royal.
Would not recommend to anyone! Had dried urine on toilet seat, had to sanitize the entire room! DISGUSTING!
Did not stay. Very rude at front desk. They should have respect to essential workers during covid 19
No casino but nice and quiet. Very clean rooms and helpful staff.
Old fashioned, needs refurbishment. When i saw the TV i was like seriously??? This room feels like the 80s... however the location is good (walking distance from city center) and the price is ok.
Perfect location if youre attending CES or another big convention, where other people are stuck in traffic while you have a five minute walk to the convention center. The hotel itself shows its age, but everythings clean and people are friendly.
Nice and clean. Free parking was a plus
This hotel is in total disrepair, dirty, and overall a disaster. The lobby is taken care of, but the hallways are worn out and torn carpets, the room itself was dirty, the carpet here too was dirty and torn in many places, the chairs had rips and stains, the bathroom was small and dirty, the showerhead was very low hanging (though it did have decent water pressure and hot water), the bathroom floor was grubby, there was a large hole through the back patio door that couldnt be closed properly, the pillows on the bed were too high to lie down on, the bed was comfortable though. Overall everything had a dirty appearance and even had people smoking weed in the back parking lot in the open morning. Hopefully this place is being worked on, but right now its the worst stay of any hotel Ive stayed in throughout the many years Ive travelled.
Its the best kept secret near the strip! Clean rooms, free parking, no resort fees, no thrills - but an excellent location and always priced Right. I live the Royal resort.
Location is good as it is on strip. Hotel was going through renovation during our stay. Rooms are not in good condition compared to amount that we paid. It wasnt lit enough. No ceiling light plus table lamp dint work. Internet was poor. It was cheapest option available for new year eve and thats the only reason I had booked it but it was very disappointing.
Make sure to check your bank statement if you stay here. They pull a 100.00 deposit that they will say they just hold then release 7-10 days later, but they actually charge the 100.00 and don’t return it. I stayed there November 15th and called repeatedly telling them that they took the funds but didn’t return them and each time I was treated as if I was lying. In December I was able to contact the owner and he promised to get the issue resolved saying I would receive a refund. After waiting two weeks for the refund he then said the same thing as the rest and stated that they didn’t pull the funds and that they only hold it. He then said to dispute it with my bank. This was two weeks after sending him bank statements and him promising to refund the money. I’d be willing to bet they do this to all their customers thinking most won’t notice it or will just forget about it. They also probably think most people won’t sue because they probably don’t live in Nevada, however you can appear in civil court in Las Vegas electronically if requested. So if this has happened to you I would recommend pursuing it so that they don’t continue to do this to customers. Yes it’s only 100.00 but if they do that to every customer it’s adding up for them and on principle it’s theft. I was also there for work and booked the hotel for the WiFi but it didn’t work the entire time I was there and I was late turning in reports for work as a result. I was also moved to a different room after finding a jacket in the room and realizing that there was makeup on the pillows so the bed had obviously been slept in by someone else. I should have received a refund just for that so to be charged more than I should have been is ridiculous.
This is a good value for the price. If you are looking for some cost savings you will be happy with the location, friendly staff, and clean rooms.
DO NOT BOOK HERE!! UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!! We booked this hotel for 1 night at 11 pm. The NEXT MORNING we called to cancel the reservation. They told us we couldnt cancel with them, and we needed to call the company we booked through. We called the company we booked through, and they sent a request to the MANAGEMENT of the hotel on our behalf to cancel the reservation and refund our money. This is the MORNING AFTER the booking. The hotel did not respond to the request for WEEKS, so, I called them again asking to cancel, and they again told me they could not cancel the reservation. Called the booking company again. It has been 2 weeks, since the cancel request was made with NO RESPONSE from Royal Resort. While on the phone, the booking company tried for 35 mins to contact the management, and they put her on hold without even letting her speak. Then, eventually (35 mins later) disconnected her. She didnt get through. The representative from the booking company escalated my case, but still the hotel MANAGEMENT never replied to the cancel request. The date of stay came and went. 3 WEEKS AFTER the date of stay, 5 WEEKS AFTER my booking was made, the booking company finally got a response from the MANAGEMENT that they refused to refund me because I was a NO SHOW!! Um, NO! We tried to cancel, MULTIPLE TIMES, tried to get a refund less than 12 hours after booking, and there is record of it! Even after the booking company continued to let them know all this, they still would not refund my money! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Horrible and unethical business practices!
The staff were really friendly and it was clean. Its just old and the carpet in the hallway had an odor to it. I would say 3 and a half stars. Its not far from the strip at all. Dennys right next door was a plus.
Very clean, calm and peaceful. It also has a fitness center inside. Wonderful management.
Its closed due to coronavirus...
The front desk lady first name Michelle really should not be the first person that you see here. The staff other than her was amazing and polite. She obviously does not enjoy her job and thinks the way she talks to people to including profanity is ok in this industry. I will do everything I can to keep my group and attendees for future conferences away from this place. That’s a lot of lost business in rooms. It’s super unfortunate as there aresome great individuals here. I hope they put her somewhere she won’t interact with customers.
It was disgusting alot of hair of people on the beds and the hallways smelled really gross and so did the rooms, couch were so dirty, and the towels were heka dirty not even washed right.
Nothing Royal about this hotel. Its old, dirty and scary. Someone even opened our door at 8am while we were sleeping but thank god we put the latch so they werent able to fully open the door. Long story short, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
Jr. Was extremely helpful upon check-in he was quick and efficient. The room is clean it’s all that I could’ve hoped for for the price I paid. But where these guys really shine is what happened after we left. My son left his prize king llama stuffed animal behind. The cleaning staff set it aside wrapped it in a garbage bag to keep it safe. My wife called and Junior found it and set it aside. I called the next day and spoke with Victor the manager. He offered to hold it for 30 days or even to ship it to me . I can’t begin to think these guys enough for all their help
Great location and value. The remodeled rooms are really nice. I love that they didn’t charge for parking or charge a resort fee. This is one of my favorite places to stay in Vegas, if you can get a good deal on a room here, take it
Everything is toooooo old and cheap. Dont believe to pictures. Its not even close to what it is.The carpet is dirty, black. The bedding was not even changed ( there were stains either from chocolate or from blood). We booked 3 nights and survived only one night - could no longer be there. We left next day....even if they dont refund it was not worth to stay longer....
The security guard was nice, the front desk lady was also nice, the room they gave us was a bit dirty, the chair in the room had mark on it, not sure if its water or pee, the carpeting is not clean but its walkable, the standard room look like motel rooms, I had to ask for another room it was a tiny bit better but the chairs had marks on it too dont know if Ill come back to it.
Had seen its best times already, but the view is nice
A good, cheap off strip hotel with a great, if small burlesque show in-house.Not very scenic views, but great for the price, clean, good service etc.
Best deal going with no resort fee as should be because its far from a resort...like not even close...its a cheap hotel but safe and good enough.
Great for the price. Clean and neat. Friendly customer. I really recommend this place. Close to the strip and big hotels
Came in on a wimb. Our previous hotel messed up our reservation needed a few hours to sleep before we continued our drive. We booked and paid an hour before they couldnt pull the info even after an hour. There werent too many choices at 2 am so we went ahead and booked at reg price a little over one hundred. After tax and hundred dollar deposit (making it two hundred), we ended up with an out dated, dirty carpet, dirty bathroom (soap scum for days in the shower), hair on the tub and it was clogged! Piece of sh** room! The front desk help acted like she didnt want to help us and the parking lot attendant harassed my young teenage kids when we went in to pick up a luggage cart. He told them they couldnt stay there they needed to move their car. They are tall but cant even drive!!! We paid and booked a room!! Maybe the day staff is better but the dirty bathroom/carpet and employee customer service was an absolute turn off. It was worth more like forty a night. Ridiculous!!
Simple hotel. You get what you pay for. Room was clean. The hotel in general is a bit tired and seems like it has seen better days.
Quiet, off the strip, laid back. Rooms are clean. Not a luxury experience, but a decent room at a fair price!
This property should be looked into. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a hotel especially in Vegas. The front desk staff was very unprofessional and rude. When we arrived as a group of four we were told they over booked. The manager was sitting in the lobby and came to the front desk and said she’d be upgrading us due to the mix up. The room she offered she stated had a Murphy bed ( I had no clue what this was). I told her that there was 4 of us and each person paid equally to be comfortable. Once I realized that the bed was a you had to pull down off the wall I told her I didn’t want it. She insisted that it was MUCH better then the room we paid for. (It was NOT) once we got our bags and brought them in we quickly realized this was NOT the room we wanted. The bed was not made up and there was nothing to make it up with. The manager had previously stated the maintenance would come make the bed up. The cleaning lady came with trash bags of one “prison style” blanket, loose sheet, and single pillow. She dropped the bags on the bed and went to leave I asked her to make the bed up as we had paid for a room with two “complete beds”. She stated she’ll be back with “ her cart” and left. About 40 min later we went to get the rest of the bags from the car and she was standing at the front with the gentlemen who checked us in laughing. I asked if she was still coming to make the bed and with a very rude attitude said “I’ll do it when everyone is out of the room”. Which I found VERY odd since she had never said that before. We all agreed to leave the room for her to come make the bed. SHE NEVER CAME. An hour later we left with the bed still not done and returned back around 5 am still with an incomplete bed. At this point we were all exhausted and didn’t want to have to hassle with the extremely aggressive and rude cleaning lady so we made the bed up ourselves. After we finished we realized from our patio there was two employees from the hotel sleeping on the job. This was frustrating because all we were asking was what we paid for and the employees were rude and then sleeping on the job while the hotel was NOT in order. I called the front desk to address that we were not happy and the bed was never made up .. the gentleman who answered the phone was the same guy that had checked us in and was laughing with the cleaning lady... he stated “you told my manager that you wanted that room and that you’d make the bed” which I had NEVER said and I told him that he then said his manager would contact me the next day when they get in and no one ever did. They screwed me out of my money and added unnecessary stress to a nice Vegas trip
Staff is friendly, beautiful 1950s vibe. Cannot wait to see it when all the renovations are complete.
Excellent rooms. Even though they are going through remodelling, well kept, clean and not noisy at all.
Great location, walking distance to everything and friendly staff . Definitely would stay here again.
Cheap, clean and easy access to get OUT of Vegas
Minimal amenities. But clean and nice for a great price
Nice place for either a night or extended stay. Staff is wonderful.
The hotel was nasty. Front desk was rude and no help on anything. No breakfast or lunch not even dinner to order. The bar that was open at 5 pm was horrible. It is nothing but a glorified motel 6. It was worse from the hotel staff with there rudeness and bad attitude. What a disgrace. No business center for guess. Cigarettes in pool. My family slept in clothes from the night before fear of bed mites.
Had friends who stayed here. I did not know this place existed. It is tucked away slightly off the strip. GPS gave great direction to the front door. The friends said the room were ok. We ended up walking from there over to Encore. The lobby of the Royal Resort was nice - there is a display of one of the Jabberwockys costume. Also in the lobby is a show tickets office.
Beautiful spacious room, comfy bed, balcony, brilliant hot tub, convenient for strip, lovely people on reception. Cora, you do your job so well; I think you would be an asset to any people focused company. The hotel is having a tasteful refurbishment and I think we benefitted greatly. Definitely stay here again.
Never gave me back my deposit! We also had to change rooms because we got one without some of the amenities. Plus the cleaners never came to clean!!
Heated swimming poor, the service is adequate, the rooms were clean and a good distance from the strip. Great ubber prices from here. And has laundry facilities! Fridge in th room!! Would stay here again.
No resort fee. Nice pool. Great location. Hit up Tacos el Gordo around the corner.
I almost left a 2 star review because they had this horrible employee who made all the nice employees look bad. You are only as strong as your weakest link. Anyway, I just found out she doesnt work there anymore. My boss actually stopped making my reservations there because this woman literally made me cry everytime I tried checking in.Royal Resort is a great place to stay. Affordable, great pool, parking that isnt far, you get a fridge and there is a washer/dryer on select floors. Plus, you are a half a block from the Peppermill, one of Vegas oldest establishments. If you stay there, ask for a room with a balcony. On a summer evening, it is like no other. I actually got to see the historic Riviera Hotel & Casino get imploded from my 7th floor balcony. Also, this place is not a casino. The Royal Resort is within walking distance to the Convention Center, Wynn & Encore, Circus Circus and a whole lot more. Plus, Walgreens, Dennys, Ross and 7-Eleven are right across the street.I am excited to leave a great review. If I could only get back the bad moments. The past is the past. Moving forward, I hope to stay there again soon.
They have sweets close to the strip with free parking and Wi-Fi available in a fitness center
A quite old hotel, but good location and really good price.
Clean establishment with one of the best food choice The Peppermill across the street and also your clothing needs at a Ross across the street
Very Decent hotel for the price. No issues with neatness, hot water, parking or anything else. Note that this is one of the very few hotels which do not charge a resort fee. However this might not be the place for you if you are looking for some luxury. But perfect for a night or two if you are just looking for a decent place to stay. Highly recommended.
Good value for money, and the place is also pretty conveniently located on the strip.
Needs abarth or something to get people in. Nice show on Sunday.
Broken fixtures no service 2 days trash running over no manager over the weekend to inform...shameful
This hotel is remodeling, I was stayed in the 6th floor, I think it was almost finished?! There had something were missing, like the wall mirror and some furnitures like the sofa, the desk lamp etc... I felt so empty in the room. Also, I had to called the room service for the facial tissue. Remodeling is good, I stayed when the CES show was on, but it was overpriced when the room was unfinished and it missing something that the customers might need.
Lets says there is nothing royal about Royal vacation Suites. I can see signs of past glory but current condition is far from royal. Room was in acceptable condition but the carpets were dirty. Staffs attitude was very casual, there is definite room for improvement here. One of the good thing about Royal Vacation Suites is ample parking space because there arent a lot of guests staying in here.
I have stayed in a lot of places in Vegas and this is the first hotel that has not charged me a resort fee. Fees in most places range from $20. to $50+ per night. This can be an expensive stay once you add up the total cost. The hotel is now being renovated and updating the rooms and carpets in the halls. The rooms are simple and clean. You get a small frige and coffee maker in the room. This is hard to find in vegas for most casinos want you to spend more money on food and drinks at their locations. If you dont want to make your own coffee, you can get it from the lobby for free from 6 am to 11 am.I am a non smoker and also am grateful that you wont have to walk through a smoke filled casino just to get to the front desk. This for me is a huge plus. Walking through a smoke filled room is the biggest challenge for me in Vegas. The location of this hotel is also a great. If you are here for an event at the convention center, then you cant get any closer than this place. The convention center is a 5 minute walk. No need for a taxi. The strip is just south of here and you are also close to Freemont street. If you do end up needing a taxi or an uber, it wont cost you an arm and another limb because of its central location. Taxis are not cheap in Vegas.I will definitely be back to stay here again.
Good condition all over. Room has been in very good condition. Good starting point for the northern strip. Great price.
Reservation was cancelled by the hotel at the last minute leaving us struggling to find a different hotel for New Years Eve!! Extremely disappointing and would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
I’ll break this review in multiple categories.1. Staff: Friendly and helping, 5/52. Cleanliness: Actually not that bad but it’s kind of old building which you tell by the smell, 4/53. Location: Amazing, right in the heart of the Vegas Strip, also, there were wide variety of restaurants right next to the hotel. 5/5I wanted to rate this as 4.6 overall!
The staff was really friendly, close enough to the strip and not expensive at all!!
One of the few resorts on the strip without a resort fee. Next to the Wynn and has a nice pool. Rooms are clean and look recently upgraded.
