Cant say enough about the Wyndham Desert Blue. We had a three bedroom deluxe, rooms were clean, staff were friendly and courteous. Not far from the strip, with a shuttle that runs a few times a day to the strip. Pool area was clean, with Co-vid restrictions which we appreciated. Only complaint is lack of restaurants, for a quick meal or a snack. Would come back.
The rooms/apartments/suites here are just amazing. They definitely make you feel at home when youre in them.
I love staying here when in Vegas, its the newest of the Wyndham resorts with a modern design, COVID compliant
Found the room on Hotels.com. Didnt know it was a time share/vacation club until we got talked into the sales pitch for discount tickets. Other than the sales guy who didnt seem to understand the word No, the place is great. Room is huge (3 bdrm.) and decorated nicely. Had everything we needed including dishes and cookware. Didnt use any of the amenities such as the pool because we were here in March but they looked nice. Loved that they had a free shuttle to the strip. I would definitely stay here again.
I just want to mention after putting my review. I have been responded back by wyndham group to send email and they will contact me. I did that and sent 3 more reminders but no one call back. So it seems they just put in portal to show they concerned. But actually not follow.I know Wyndham is a chain of hotel. My review hardly make difference to them. But I still want to put this as I want to share how they made me and my family feel. Who planned happy vacation and they made the WORST EVER MEMORY to me and my family. One of the TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE of my life with this property and the lady at the reception (I know her name but humanity does not allow me to put that on social media) But she is the pathetic one that a hotel can make stand on reception. Well my family started 4:00 am from NJ. I was my friend and there are kids in my group. We reached here in Vegas and had a reservation about a month back for Presidential Suits 2 Bedroom. When I reached property the lady at the front desk about to give me/offered me Standard Studio -- Even though I booked presidential suits (confirmed on my Itinerary). Well she lied, yes she lied and told me, Ok so the Suite will take some time to get available and cleaning done and told she will call me when things done. After 30 minute she called and shared. There was an issue on booking and we can not give Presidential Suite. They SHAMELESS PPL keep on saying that I booked Studio Though I have in my Itinerary clearly mention I booked Presidential Suite. Wanna accommodate 6-7 ppl to a place of hardly ok for 4. She asked me to reach out to my Bank I used to book the reservation with this property at Vegas. This was proved to be the worst ever day of my vacation and I ended up almost 5 HOURS CUSTOMER CARE and my family remain waiting in CAR without room for whole day almost. The worst ever property and worst ever staff... pathetic experience.Never - Never Recommend and I wish they may feel same as I felt and my family felt. Dishonored and No-Respect.
Good resort, nice facilities, and you may still visit the computer room and activities room despite COVID so long as you keep your mask on. Room service and cleaning employees are friendly and warm. The front desk employees I found were not friendly but they were knowledgeable. The pool and cabana is so nice that you should spend a couple days there! Not to mention you get a bar in the pool area and a fire!!PS the beds are the most comfortable, cozy, warm yet breathable resort beds Ive ever laid in!
Love it! Front desk is awesome very friendly and bell persons are unbelievable great effort enthusiasm and kindness everyone is so respectful and the guy with the long curly hair took my bags up for me never met someone like him very energetic funny very respectful forgot his name but will see him again soon
Convenient location close to the strip. Food is limited to the pool bar but it was very good. With covid restrictions if you want to hang out at the pool all day you need to reserve a cabana, otherwise you are limited to 2 hours. Newer property so its in good shape. We dont go to Vegas much but if we do we will definitely stay here again.
We reserved the presidential suite; comes with 3 rooms to accommodate up to 8 people. The suite itself was spacious and had a modern style; simple yet elegant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Only thing is the hotel doesnt have a casino to play; reasonably close to other casinos/ hotels.
Good when did a 3day vacay. Only thing was parking was only in the back maybe doing construction but I enjoyed the stay and somewhat view my room was racing The Rio and I have a 1 1/2 so lights were perfect
Reserved a beautiful 2 bedroom presidential suite. Much more than needed. Beautiful space. High end appliances. High ceilings. Huge windows. Staff was exceptional. Picked up the phone immediately and Was never put in hold. Unfortunately because of covered. The game room and the pool hall room were closed. But the market and the business room were still open. But they had to wipe stations everywhere. The gym was open but to a much limited capacity. The pool was beautiful but the kids splash section and the two Jacuzzis were closed. But the pool was also empty while we were out there. There could banners are extremely cheap and only 100 bucks. My only issue is that this place is a timeshare so theres no daily housekeeping. They do offer daily housekeeping but at an absurd price. Would definitely stay here again
Awesome rooms. Definitely recommend staying here except when you go to the pool they have a life guard on duty that is a complete waste of money. There are two swimming pools and all the kids go to the pool with no life guard. Adults that have NO kid have to hang out at the pool with kids and no life guard. They have people out front watching the number of people coming in but not telling people kids should maybe hang out at the pool with a life guard on duty. You’d think for the money you’re paying they’d at least make your stay a little better. Don’t waste your time here. Especially at the pool.
We had a very good visit. No complaints. Thank you .
Great property. Recommend highly. Will stay there again
Great place, clean and has great views of the Strip. Staff is friendly. Weve stayed here before and will be back in the future
This hotel is a hidden gem! Just a 10 minute drive off of the strip it is far enough away for a more quiet vacation but close enough to all of the action! Fremont Street is also only a 15 min drive away. The property is beautiful, the pool deck is amazing! They keep the water super warm, we were comfortably lounging in the pool when it was only 55 degrees outside! The food at the pool bar was decently priced and delicious! The staff is very warm and friendly. Their shuttle service is also pretty decent with complementary rides to either the Rio hotel or Ceasurs palace. I was very impressed and plan on staying here again in the future!
We arrived and were told there was a welcome packet. Come down in the morning. We came down they gave us a bracelet to access areas. That was it. There was no restaurant. You couldnt swim at the pool. The ice maker dispensed black ice. The TV was worse than basic. The positive the rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable. We never used the shuttle.
It is a nice place to stay with whole family, employees are friendly and the place is very nice and clean. I will highly recommended it!
This place feels new and its just so comfortable. This is a nice getaway from the strip. The pool is gorgeous, the beds are comfortable, the whole building smells great and is conveniently located near the strip and about a 6 minute drive from the forum shops at Caesars. Theres complimentary valet and shuttles run to the Rio and Caesars alternating every half hour. I was visiting from Orlando for business and this felt like coming home at the end of the day. The studio made me feel like I want in a hotel room. Definitely a great place to come back to after a whole night of drinking and gambling.
My sister reserved a presidential suite in this hotel for my birthday. Pleased with the actual hotel overlooking the city. It was gorgeous at night, nothing but city lights, it was beautiful! I love that there were four rooms and four bathrooms to accommodate all the guest in our party. Very spacious and clean. Things to take into consideration, the hotel doesnt provide a complimentary room cleaning, they charge over $230 per cleaning service requested, which I thought was very unreasonable. Also, its approximately 5-10 mins away from the strip depending on traffic. The hotel offers a shuttle but its not 24/7 as advertised upon booking so expect to catch uber/lyft. Another plus side of this hotel, its 100% smoke free inside so if youre like me who is sensitive to the smell of smok, then consider staying at this hotel. I was going to rate 3 stars but the bartenders in the pool area literally made our stay worthwhile. Constatino and the other lady were extremely outgoing and customer service was beyond our expectations. My friends and family truly enjoyed there stay mainly because of them. I was not pleased with the front staff, specifically with Ashley, they need to replace her with someone more pleasant. When we approached her, we didnt get any type of greeting and she sounded as if she didnt want to help check us in. This wasnt the only unpleasant encounter we had with her. I would given this place 3 stars but as mentioned the friendly staff by the pool earned this another star!!
Very clean. Well maintained. The kitchen was a huge money safer, instead if eating out every meal!!
Clean, well appointed, spacious suite. No membership or timeshare presentation required if you book through extraholidays.com
Even with certain things closed this place still rocks. The suites are beautiful with a beautiful view. My first time in Vegas and I loved everything about it.Just some FYI for the company. Your pictures online of the rooms do you no justice. I was skeptical before we came but boy did you prove me wrong and also you should put a manual with the sound bars and subs in the presidential I was confused on that
They almost made me feel like were back to normal living during this coronavirus time
We loved our two day respite from our RV. Wyndham has done a fantastic job managing COVID-19 regulations and allowing their business to open. The Desert Blue is a drive to the strip but a welcome location to access everything in Vegas. We had a RV and a tow vehicle and they allowed us to park it during our stay. It was not busy due to limited reservations but we were grateful to have the ability to park freely so we could spend a few days in the area. Pool was beautiful. Our two bedroom presidential suite was extremely spacious. The staff was very helpful. Thankyou for making us feel safe during our stay.
Nice place very clean close to the strip about 2 miles but not too close so it is quiet
This is a beautiful resort off the Strip. Its across the street from the Rio Hotel and Casino on the opposite side of the 15 from the Strip. There is plenty of parking with guest entrances in the front and back of the building. The views from around the resort are great. The rooms are modern and all have a full kitchen and laundry. The beds are comfortable with extra pillows and blankets in one of the closets, and the resort will provide them if asked. There is a shuttle that will take you to the Rio and the Strip for guests with a resort supplied wrist band. The pool area has 2 pools and Jacuzzis, as well as a wading pool with fountains, and plenty of seating. There are reserveable cabanas, a gas fire pit, and a restaurant/bar in the pool area. There is an arcade, game room, gym, and office/workroom. Each floor has an ice machine and soda machine. Its distance from the Strip makes both the in beside and outside of the resort a quiet and relaxing place to spend your time, with the Strip just a short car ride away.
If all you want is a great room with a kitchen and some good activities then this place is perfect. Be aware there is no restaurant on property or nearby. Shuttle service is limited and not convenient for our needs. If you are wanting to create a “home”feel, buy groceries and eat in it will meet your needs.
LOVED it there was there for 11 days. Enjoyed the sites of Vegas Babe!!!
If you ever go to the Wyndham you can actually buy a room where you dont have to pay for flights and all that go to the lift program is worth it I bought one and the rooms are so lovely
Nice place to stay in Vegas. Feels like away from the strip yet is just very close to it.
Exceptionally clean and beautiful. Semi private. Offered an upgrade. Had an amazing meal in our suite. Thumbs up!
Kind of off the beaten path but they have a free shuttle that will take you grocery shopping once a day the rest of the times theyll drop you off at Cesars. Rooms were excellent along with the little convenient store near the lobby to get coffee sodas and pastries. Had a decent view but nothing exciting. Pool area is nice. I dont recommend trying to walk to the strip from here. Its a bit far and the Vegas heat will make you exhausted.
Beautiful rooms with a great view of the strip. Walk to casinos or take a Wyndham shuttle. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice and many other amenities are available.
Best Wyndham to date that my family and I have stayed in!Check in didn’t take even 5 minutes! I wasn’t pressured to buy more time share points or to go on timeshare meetings! This was the cleanest facility ever... and the quietest ... We wished we could have taken home the bed! Loved the comfy bedding! The shuttle service ran to two casinos, the Rio & to Caesars... this made walking in the strip easier. They even have a daily grocery store run.We were fortunate to get a ‘room with a view’ from our 4 bedroom on the 15th floor! The night lights were magnificent !
Nice place. Beautiful rooms great view of the Las Vegas strip
Great location, near to the strip. Very clean and comfy room. The receptionists and the valet service are also friendly and helpful...Just excellent!!!
This place is super guest accomodating with complimentary shuttle to grocery store, the strip and shopping mall. And love the pool area.
The best room. Great view. Very helpful staff.
Beautiful Resort. Worth every penny. Had a blast!
Beautiful sceneries, a lot of activity areas (includes swimming pools, arcade room, computer room, pool table area, and kids room), and comfy beds! Loved staying here, felt like I was in my own apartment! Its away from the main Las Vegas casino-smoking-weed area but thats what makes it unique and quiet at night, if youre mostly in Vegas to sleep in and explore the place in the morning!
Wonderful location off the strip; pleasant staff and very clean property
I love this hotel, two bedroom suit was perfect for my family.
Pretty cool place to stay off the strip. It was very quiet and staff was very friendly. Would stay here again.
It was very comfortable and the service was excellent! I will definitely use them again...
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean. Only down fall is having to schedule pool time.
Beautiful unit and great customer service by lobby staff.
Absolutely beautiful timeshare!! Amazing for the family!! Better if you go with adults only!! Great for romantic get away!! Adult pool!! Spacious rooms!! Beautiful views!! Friendly staff!! Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend!! If you’re a owner, fantastic!! If not, don’t worry you can get a guess pass, hopefully you know someone who owns a timeshare!! Don’t miss out!!
Wonderful place to stay!! Nice staff, complimentary valet, our room was so nice!! The pool area was great, two pools, two hot tubs, a water spray area for the kids, cabana rentals, and other outdoor activities...oh and I forgot to add that there was an extremely nice lifeguard, my granddaughter would give her, her little pool toys and she would throw them in for her...I dont know her name, but thanks for entertaining her!!
Very quiet location. Shuttle is not optimal, but still a very nice place to stay in Vegas.
Be very careful when taking the timeshare tour at this location. They are very friendly to your face but are very shady. After we declined to buy we left with our gift card. The card was not activated and this has not been resolved a week after. A week later I received a letter in the mail saying I had a loan opened in my wifes name from Wyndham and a Wyndham credit card has been opened in my name. They informed us they would run our credit but did not agree to opening any accounts. They are using highly unethical tactics. I would avoid them at all costs.
Modern and smoke free! This is a great Vegas timeshare! It is close to the strip but quiet. The staff is super friendly! Box I and Vanessa are awesome! We love our Wyndham time share. Every property is just like home!
The Margaritaville room was amazing the whole floor was greatstaff was very misinformed on many things though and give out a lot of wrong information
This place was awesome. Clean, roomy, snacks were provided, clean fresh smelling sheets, beds were a dream to sleep on. We didnt eat there because my family who lives there picked us up to take us out to eat. We had a 4 bedroom, two shower, 3 bath rooms, rooms. It was a wonderful place to stay.
A member of the Wyndham Discovery program. Got harassed as soon as I checked in about tours and was lied too about RAC charges! The last thing I look forward to after a long flight and checking in is saying no to a tour and getting to my room and then getting phone calls and texts about tours. They really need to change their approach and disrespectful, lying employees just to earn a buck!
Nice clean establishment. Room is excellent very comfortable bed.
It was quiet and an easy place to relax. If you want to have fun but still have a quiet haven to go to at night. Its perfect. Shuttle runs ever 45 minutes to the strip.
It was everything we expected and More! We got a 3 bedroom presidential suite and the rooms were fantastic. They even provided us with items that we forgot. The pool and splash pad were fantastic the kids loved it!!!
I was expecting to not like it here because I always stay on the strip. However I plan on staying here when I come back next time because everything was so comfortable convenient and relaxing. Unlike hotels on the strip I could find a lounge chair right by the water and the food was not overly expensive at the pool bar. Parking is free and there is a free shuttle every 30 minutes that drops off at the Caesar Forum Shops. Having the convenience of a fridge sink and ice maker is an added bonus.
Everything was great here from the staff, amenities, cleanliness, including a short distance to everything in Vegas. Only complaint is the horrible view from our room in the resort that only allows you to see a bunch of old run down business with junk cars & scrap metal in the back of their buildings & warehouses!
My wife and I visited this place as part of a timeshare pitch. Once it became apparent to our sales agent and her manager we werent interested their attitudes ranged from disinterested to openly hostile. After asking pointed mathematical questions, they couldnt answer them. Instead they focused on trying to manipulate their audience into a false equation that quality time could only be had by purchasing their timeshare. They offered to speed up the process of getting us out the door by letting them perform more intense data collection including credit checks, to which we refused. At that point we got to sit alone looking at a wall having our own quality time with each other. Both ends held up their part of the agreement to get a pitch in exchange for negotiated compensation, but how the pitch was executed basically soured the relationship with Wyndham to the point even if it ever remotely made sense to buy a timeshare it wouldnt be with them. Overall anyone considering timeshare ownership needs to deeply understand the legal and financial consequences before purchasing anything. If you have a few hours to kill and want something in return, consider the timeshare pitch. However be aware they are salesman, not financial or legal councilors. They will tell you what sounds good, but not raise the important fine details. Do your own homework and review if it really does make longterm financial sense before committing.
Great resort and great staff. Excellent customer service and they go above and beyond to make sure you enjoyed your stay.
Its a hotel. Basic architecture with limited resources for enjoyment. I am comparing this to their grand desert location with has it all. The room had a foldout couch with the cheapest mattress they could find. The kitchen was made for people who are 6 foot or over as Im 58 and could not see my food in the microwave. The bathroom is nice, but lacks a bathtub. There is no washing machines and the only attractive part is an outside pool. Head over to the grand desert until they add more to this location.
Beautiful hotel! Got the 3 bedroom presidential, could not have been more pleased. Washer and dryer in unit was fantastic towards the last days of our vacation. Jacuzzi tub in the master was also relaxing. They even had a Bose sound system in the living room!!!
Beautiful place and less than $10 Uber to the strip, or you can easily walk to Cesars Palace in about 10 minutes.
One of the nicer properties in the Wyndham family. I appreciate that there is no gambling here. Parking is free and thats a bonus although you can also use valet. They have a limited restaurant but there are plenty of eating choices nearby. All that being said I would recommend never buying a timeshare.
The presidential suite is very good and property is clean, smoke free and elegant. Its also a great family and kids friendly property. I am happy to recommend this to my family or friends.
Love this Wyndham. Clean, quiet, and great service. We took the shuttle to Caesars Palace and Jerome was great!! He even sang us a song.
This place was perfect for the group I traveled with. we stayed in a three-bedroom very spacious living space. Each room has its own bathroom one of the rooms actually had a jet bathtub. We had a full kitchen dining room as well as the living room. The hotel provided a shuttle service to the strip area because its away from it. The other great bonus is that there is a shuttle every morning that will take you to the grocery store. and from the window you see a picture of what will be the Raiders stadium. this location has great amenities and is perfect for larger groups of people we were able to fit six in the space however 8 can fit comfortably. only downfall is that if you do not want to cook there is no restaurant on site
Everything was perfect from the entrance to the customer service to the ambiance of the atmosphere. One of the best hotel stays Ive experienced to date.
Check in was smooth and quick. The staff was amazing. The condo was perfect. Great location. Shuttle service dependable comfortable and convenient.
Wonderful property sadly only one night, got upgraded to a monster suite! Insane room must be over 1800 sq ft. Staff very curious, pleasant and helpful. Great views of mountains and part of the Vegas strip.
Nice quiet location in Vegas with a beautiful pool area. Loved the heated pool! Short walk to Rio for breakfast. Used the shuttle to Ceasar Palace, worked great to spend time on the strip. Room very comfortable
This is one of THE best off the radar but VERY close to the strip places to stay. We had an amazing suite that had EVERYTHING. the location is good, & the pool is great... it was very convenient & Not crowded. i enjoyed the stay.
Amazing resort, clean, with nice friendly staff
This is a beautiful hotel and the amenities are nice, but its more than a little off the beaten track and the shuttle goes only to the two very nearest casinos.
Amazing room and amazing view. I got the 3 bedroom suite and it had 3 bathrooms. Cant wait to stay there again.
Beautiful Resort. The rooms are gorgeous they come with a full kitchenette, says the lady who loves to cook. The view is breathtaking. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and will accommodate any request or concerns of their guests. Enjoyed my time there.
Equidistant from both The Rio and Ceasars, this place is in Vegas most perfect location. The pool is this propertys standout feature and we spent nearly our whole trip out there. Never crowded, but still enough people to feel like a fun time is being had by all. Play cornhole, grab a drink and a burger at the bar, take a walk through the splash park to cool off and take a nap on the loungers that sit in the water. Lifeguards on staff make this a perfect place to bring families (kitchens in the rooms too!). Shuttle service to casinos, the strip, and the grocery store are all like a swiss clock -- the bus never left later than 30 seconds after the scheduled time. We were unsure about staying at a timeshare place but the staff made it feel like a 5-star resort. This will be one of the first properties we search for our future Vegas trips.
Fantastic service . Bartenders at the pool were the best !
I have been to numerous Wyndham properties in Las Vegas and I have to say, this one is my favorite for a number of reasons. 1) it’s incredibly close to the strip (and there is a shuttle that takes you there super easily) 2)There are delish restaurants within walking distance from the hotel (so you don’t have to fight the crowds on the strip) 3) The pool is AMAZING (yes I have been to the Wyndham with the lazy river and this one is still better) and had chairs you can sit in that are IN the pool as well as has cabanas that are actually worth paying for. I could go on and on about how much I love this place!
Clean n felt safe. Beautiful place.
No onsite lounge or restaurant. Liked that there was no casino but a place to relax and grab a bite to eat or drink would have been nice.
The rooms are very nice. No covered parking.
Amazing place I will definitely stay here again!!!:)
Great place to vacation with the family!
Very nice resort away from the chaos of the strip.
Stayed in the presidential suite on the 15th floor. The views were Beautiful. The room was spotless and smelled great. Wyndham Resorts never disappoint. Highly recommend this location. Pool needs to be heater though, it was freezing. Restaurant grill in pool area, no room service.
Just off the strip nice view
Its a nice joint. Sell your soul... etc
Beautiful hotel and amazing pools!
Had trouble with hot water the whole time. Water pressure in shower was almost a fast drip. One set of shower products for 3 guests.
Amazing rooms and service. Quick leather shuttles to Rio and Caesars is so nice.
Very clean, away from the strip but has a shuttle bus to the strip, free Starbucks brewed coffee, Provides ride sharing discounts, nice rooms, great staff with welcoming vibes.
Exceptional reception staff and accommodations.
