This place never disappoints, hands down best course in Las Vegas, its always in great shape, it has great views and its just golf and nature out here. All 3 tracks are great but Wolf is definitely the better of the 3 and the one that challenges golfers the most. Wind is a factor out here and gold knowledge is definitely needed for the more competitive golfer to put up a score. These course challenge all levels of play with their different tees but it is also definitely enjoyable for any skill level beginner - pro. I did try to get a tournament here for an AM Tour coming to Las Vegas but never heard back from them after sending them a few emails. Its a shame as this wouldve been great to kick off the Tours inaugural event in Las Vegas but oh well, as a local I enjoy playing here. Maybe next year I can get a response or might have to get there early one day and try to talk someone in person... the course is till too good to ding them a star for that as most people are not trying to put up competitive tournaments when they read this review so it stays at 5 stars.
My friends and I played the snow and wolf courses. Absolutely stunning scenery and very challenging holes. No way to describe how well they take care of these courses. I think there were more groundskeepers on the course than there were players. Do yourself a favor and play here.
Great golf course. Staff was great also. Would recommend it to anyone.
Im planning a Wedding here in 2021, the wedding and events teams was very accommodating with my time since I am only going to be in town for a week. They told me all of the ways they were continuing to hold weddings safely through covid. They have great prices and have an open bar, DJ and officiant included in their wedding package, and absolutely stunning landscape to look at while you envision your big day.
The three courses here are amazing. The best public courses Ive ever played. The staff are all very friendly, the practice areas are very nice, the courses are maintained to near perfect shape, etc. I make it a point to play here every time I come to Las Vegas.
The course is gorgeous, impeccably kept. The surrounding views are what youd see in expensive pictures. Great bar and the restaurant serves great food. Sunday brunch is our favorite, with an omelet station, fresh fruit and pastries. Servers are casual and nice. Oh, and their pro shop has nice items for sale. Im no golfer so to me prices are crazy but theres always people in there buying items. Definitely a Las Vegas hidden gem.
Outstanding in every way. Beautiful views from the drive in, to the clubhouse and restaurant, to every single hole. With 3 professional courses and 2 full ranges and practice areas, this is a place you can play every week. Courses are all in pristine condition and if you can handle the desert wind, you’ll never want to stop playing here.
Great place to play golf. The fairways and the greens are well kept. Did I mention the view and the backdrops? Be there and experience it yourself. Enjoy!
Love this course. In great shape. Fast greens make it tough but really really great
Very enjoyable, great views all around this beautiful course.
Beautiful experience well kept course great support staff! Amazing scenery! Will be back!
Beautiful gold courses! I can’t even believe these courses are in the middle of the desert! What a treat to be able to play and have amazing scenery to take in! An appropriate amount of water and a lack of trees is a golfers dream! If you find yourself in Vegas... I recommend taking a quick Uber or Lyft out here with some friends to get a quick round in!
Great Courses and great facility! One of my favorite courses in Vegas!
Greens were perfect. Fairway and tee boxes were immaculate. Highly recommend!
Great courses always great condition great facilities and friendly atmosphere.
Played the wolf course and it was in excellent condition. An oasis in the middle of nowhere. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff, they took my bags and pointed out where I need to go.. the driving range is in fantastic shape, green unlike at other courses around Vegas. Played my best round, 18 holes in 2hr 15 min. Highly recommend. I will be trying out the sun n snow courses soon. Great experience
Very nice golf course. Great service and weather.
Spectacularly gorgeous setting into the mountainside. Very challenging but playable if your on youre game. Especially if you lay on a windy day like I did where half the shots were brutally into the face or crosswinds. Choosing the right iron was a crapshoot but its easily in the top 3 courses Ive played in Vegas so far along with TPC Summerlin & probably Chimera & Desert Pines. I played the Sun course at Pauite
This course is out in the desert but its an oasis. What a great golfing experience.
Paiute is a true golf oasis that is an easy drive from Las Vegas. Our group of 20 played all 3 courses on our golf trip. Each hole presents its own challenge with no two holes being alike. All courses are impeccably maintained from tee to green. The tournament staff was also a pleasure to work with and truly met the needs of each individual golfer. First class golf resort!
Best golf couse inVegas
My wife and I have played some exceptional courses around the country. Once we stepped into the clubhouse, it was special. We enjoyed a little bite to eat at the restaurant and then checked in to play the challenging Wolf course. We had our grandson with us and everyone was accommodating. We got paired up with a couple of Mounties from Canada and had an absolute brilliant time. The course was exceptional and the views wonderful. Greens were tough. You had to pitch precise but the course allowed you opportunities. The signature island hole was fun! Almost as fun as Coeur Dalene. The Wolf course was great, cant wait to return.
Get golf here, nice courses, in excellent condition. Highly recommend.
Love this golf course, with 54 holes. In the middle of the desert, each hole is surrounded by desert and the mountains. Fairways and greens were very well maintained, in great condition. The dining room has a fantastic view of the course.
WoW...a beautiful resort with an excellent golf course & stunning mountain views! The perfect setting for a wedding!
1 of the best courses in vegas. not that far like people say, can be there in 25 minutes, and the course is always plush.
Three GREAT 18-hole Pete Dye courses and two huge practice areas. Always in magnificent shape with an awesome staff
Great food limited menu nice views
Great track and the whole facility is fantastic. If you havent played there, go........
Beautiful course (Wolf)! Loved the 15th hole (islànd green). Hit from the tournament tees if you have a chance (high up above - incredible view!). Was not busy at all today - best kept secret in Las Vegas.
While visiting Las Vegas with my friends, the four of us played 18 holes at Paiute. This course is a bit of a drive off the Las Vegas strip - but definitely worth the drive. Beautiful layout, fairways and greens are pristine, and the staff was very good. Would definitely come back next time we are in Las Vegas.
This is an excellent facility where the staff treats you great. We played the wolf and snow courses and both were in outstanding shape.
Played all 3 courses here. Although mostly similar, all 3 were very fun. Great staff who allowed us to leave bags overnight with us playing the next day. Facilities are excellent all-around. Worth the trip, even if you are staying on the Strip.
Played golf only Snow Course awesome track greens so fast
We had our wedding here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is so wonderful and our day went so smoothly. Pam was extremely helpful and it turned out even better than we were expecting. We can’t say enough great things about the Paiute. Highly recommend - the ceremony space is stunning and the reception area is open with a beautiful view of the mountains. We’re very grateful that we chose to celebrate our big day here!
Loved this course as well as the layout by the notorious Pete Dye. Very challenging but the right shots are heavily rewarded where poor decisions are penalized. Hands down my favorite option in Vegas for this price range. Staff is ultra friendly and helpful. Loved my experience, just waiting for them to get some lodging so I can sleep on site and binge golf for 5 days straight!
The emoyees are all very professional and nice.
Excellent friendly professional staff, played all 3 courses wolf, snow and sun in late Febuary, course is in great condition for winter, everything was green (not painted like some courses). Tough greens to read and can be fast. Worth the 30 min drive from the strip. Driving range, chipping and putting green are also good and there were 2 of each. Wolf is their signature course but sun was harder can be long if you play the back or even the mens tees but due to elevation shots go longer. Hit 2 300 yard drives and I am usually a 250 yard guy. This place can be windy if its 10mph in the strip it can be 20mph in Paiute, was told that sometimes ball will not hold the green. When too windy check the weather.
Its a Beautiful place to go for a quiet meal. It has a Fantastic view of the mountains, golf course and a man-made lake out the window and its a limited menu but everything we have ordered is absolutely Great! Weve only been for lunches because we love the view so much!!
The course was beautiful and very well maintained. Enjoyed the practice ranges as well!!
The restaurant is a great place to eat nice service and great people
Very Nice course. Fairways are not that wide but you can hit you ball out of the desert if you can find it. Lot of cross winds
Nice golf. I played the wolf course and it has a replica of 17 at TPC Sawgrass.
No better golf course in Las Vegas. And a staff to match.
Very nice people and beautiful course
Beautiful courses and facility. Worth the drive
Great course with numerous lies and challenges. Greens were fairly quick and pace of play was good even with steady 15 to 20 mph winds. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. A must play again.
A paradise in the desert. What an incredible 36 championship holes. Ever green due to unlimited natural springs from the Indian land reservoir. Pro shop and restaurant staff were superb and courteous. Had the privilege of playing Sun, Snow and Wolf mountain courses. Greens are fast like 12 to 13 stimpmeter. Great job!!!
Great course and great views. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Recommend.
Attended my nieces wedding for 85 plus people. Food and service was Great!! The views are Amazing!!
Curiosity lead me to the Pauites Golf course. It was a great open drive heading towards Mtn. Charleston. About an hour away from Vegas with the open road and fresh air really did me some good.
Unbelievable sceneries surrounding golf course that make you hard to focus on the game. Probably one of the best courses I have ever been to, if not the best. A golfer must visit Paiute especially if in LV area. Golf course condition was at their best.
Played this original course again after 20 years, still challenges and pleases.
Good layout, service was great other than some miscommunication between the guys outside and inside. Was told a hour frost delay so we took our time then 5 minutes later the starter is hounding us to get on the tee box. As a non resident the $130 price tag is way too expensive for early spring golf in February for the condition the course was.
Would definitely recommend to play. Challenging greens that will punish you. Well manicured. Nice employees. Great clubhouse (seriously). Will come back again.Word to the wise, however. Its cooler out here because of the elevation change and we did not give that enough credit. In the summer months thats a plus, but in February there is a significant difference. Teeing off near the strip around 745 is cool but comfortable. Teeing off here at 745 is freezing, and it took us 5 to 6 holes to feel warm.
Great desert golf course! Never disappoints.
Well worth the 30 minute drive from Vegas - great facilities and amazing golf. Played here for the first time February 2018. Recommendation is to do it up right and do the ‘golfapalooza’ deal which gets you 36 holes plus a really great lunch and draft beer for reasonable price. Will be back!
Beautiful facilities... amazing that its so near to the Las Vegas Strip (around 45 mins away). The location is gorgeous: a lush golf course framed by mountains and set in a remote area.
Great though windy experience. Wolf course in super shape.
Underrated course will friendly staff. Well priced and great pace of play
I’ll start by saying that the course itself was very nice and most staff were friendly and helpful. However, the course marshal we encountered was extremely rude and condescending which ruined our round and perception of this course. In 20 years of playing golf, I have never seen a marshal talk to someone the way he talked to us. I recommend you find another course where customers are treated with respect and dignity. One hole did not have a sign marking when you couldn’t drive your cart any closer to the green. Our cart was parked on the fairway, a safe distance from the green, and we were in no way in jeopardy of damaging the course where our cart was parked. The marshal drives up, leaning back, eating a granola bar, talking to us while he was chewing with a cocky attitude and said “do you remember when we told you not to drive the carts close to the green?”. We responded “no” and said we had looked for a sign marking when you had to return to the cart path like the other holes but this hole didn’t have one. He replied, “well I remember when we told you, look at where your cart is parked, would you say that’s too close to the green?”. He talked to us like he was our dad and we were 10 years old and had disobeyed him and needed a life lesson. It was the most condescending way possible to tell us he thought we were too close to the green.Who treats their customers this way? If we would have replied to him with the same tone and attitude he did, he probably would have kicked us off the course. We basically had to sit there and let him enjoy his power trip and just say sorry when we had really done nothing wrong. He should have simply said, hey, you guys are too close to the green, please stay X yards away on all future holes and it would have been received perfectly fine and we could have moved on. Instead, our memories of this course will always be about this encounter with the marshal and how he could have handled the situation much more professionally. I won’t play here again and if you like being treated like an adult I’d recommend you find another place to play as well.
Got married here a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. Everything was beautiful and it was nice to just show up on the day without having to worry about the details. The wedding and reception staff were 5-star. We’ve made it a point to come back every year on our anniversary to enjoy a delicious meal with a stunning backdrop. The staff has even welcomed us back and wished us a happy anniversary, and even offered to take our picture in the same place we got married. However, the restaurant staff has been less than pleasant the last couple of times. You can’t sit outside because they’ll never come out to you and the golfers definitely get priority inside. It’s unfortunate that our experiences haven’t been “up to par” because we enjoy making the trip to reminisce.
Way, way too slow playing Sun. Played Wolf in past, no issues, Sun took forever and staff encouraged group of 25 plus to stage for pictures after finished round on 18th for at least 15 minutes while we waited. Several groups (actually all between us and them) quit before round ended due to very selfish (I believe wedding party) that were loud, drunk, and disrespectful to all others playing. On our 17th tee one male (not a gentleman) decided to urinate behind all his buddies while at least 2 groups playing their 18th more or less directly in view of anyone playing behind. I dont have an issue with public urination, it happens, just be extremely discrete, not a drunken fool. Course was in excellent shape and the greens where extremely fast, unfortunate that one (or 4 or 5) group could destroy an easy 5 out of 5 review.
So beautiful and quiet. Food is amazing!
Top notch golf course and amenities. Perfect fairways and perfect greens that are very quick but true. A treat for any avid golfer.
Very beautiful, a real oasis in the desert
Very nice, green course. Played the Sun Mountain course. Its Northwest of Las Vegas and cannot be seen off of the interstate. This is a hidden gem and definitely worth playing.
Loved this place. Facility was amazing, golf was fun, had the private feeling at a reasonable price. The cost to play $90, cost for rentals $70, Uber ride from the strip $45 we will be back. The course played was decent. I am a 15 handicap and I thought it was great.
Great course. Lots of fun.Great staff
If you like to golf and spend time in Las Vegas, then this resort is not to be missed. There are three courses to choose from - depending on your desired difficulty level. The Wolf Creek course is challenging but a fair test. The environment is incredible - far from the hustle and bustle of the city, its just you and the amazing landscape. The facilities - pro shop, bar, locker room - leave nothing to be desired.
Absolutely amazing venue! The sunset wedding was breathtaking!
Played the Wolf course, and wow! Loved the layout, conditions is amazing given that time of the year. Staff is welcoming and really helpful. The range and practice facility is awesome as well, worth the drive from the strip for sure! Loved the island green on the Wolf course (15th), dont go long! Will definitely come back this summer
Great courses and great staff! Worth the Uber out the course!
Its an absolutely beautiful course, very well maintained, and a challenge
Its a little ways outside of town, but worth visiting. Breakfast food was reasonably priced and they didnt skimp on the portions.
Course was in fantastic shape. People super friendly. Watch out.... it can get windy
Great course, and staff was very friendly
Beautiful setting for a wedding. The golf course is spectacular. Mountains in the background and green greens. Its a quick drive from the stip and worth it.
No place I would rather play. Three great courses. Staff is exceptional.
Wolf course is a one of the most tough course in vegas, but definitely worth it. Clubhouse has a great view and nice foods with a reasinable price. Cobb salad tastes so good!
Natural beauty. All about the course
Absolutely one of the best facilities in the Las Vegas area! Incredible attention to detail and one of the friendliest and most helpful staffs you will find. Great experience and well worth the drive!
It’s a BEAUTIFUL course, we had such a great time playing, and everyone who worked there that we encountered was terrific. The service was fantastic. I would go back and play again in a hot minute.
Very peaceful and a great break from the strip. Perfect to play a round or even just grab a lunch
Absolutely love this place. Im not a golfer, but its a beautiful course with lots of nice scenery. I take company there to eat in the restaurant and enjoy the view. The food is delicious, huge portions and reasonably priced. And, its got easy access for people with walkers. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its a hidden gem off the beaten path.
Showed up late on a Sunday but all of the staff was still on their game. We were greeted warmly by everyone from the bag drop to the pro shop to the starter. Everyone was welcoming and friendly and the Wolf Course was awesome. Everything was perfect. Cant wait to come back.
One of the best golf courses weve played. Of the 3 courses onsite (Wolf, Sun Mtn, and Snow Mtn), we played Sun Mtn course and loved it. Wolf is considered the signature course for a few reasons; however, Id rather play Sun Mtn. My wife and I played in March of 2020 and the course was in very good shape, the elevation change is minimal; however, the challenge is in flowing fairways and greens. This provided many uneven ball strikes (ball higher or lower than feet) despite being in the fairway. This is a 40 minute drive from Las Vegas. The clubhouse is very nice, provides good merch options to purchase, and has an attached dining room with good food and drink options. The range is large and the balls are provided with green fees. The staff are friendly and willing to help as needed. We would highly recommend the course. When golfing, take your time and dont rush, enjoy the moment. With our 9:30am tee time, there were several foursomes before and after us and many players behind us trying to rush through each hole. Thats not what this course is about though, enjoy it.Really pay attention to wind forecasts as that can be a factor. Had to club up 3 clubs on second shots for the last 3 holes due to increased wind levels.
Fantastic facility, cart girl was hard to find. Breakfast was awesome and the service was incredible.
Great place outside of las vegas. We went here for my nieces wedding and it was really nice. The golf course looked like a great place to play on and hope to come back soon to play a round. Not sure if the whole wedding setup is done by the golf course but they did an awesome job on it.
Great course.
