When I purchased my home at Cabana, it was a nice place. In the past 4 years that has changed drastically. There is so much favoritism from both management and their maintenance man Joe. They seem now wanting to force certain residents out now because we stand up for our rights. They turn off the water services without notice despite having a phone system to notify you whether it be a scheduled or an emergency. Bad on the older homes pipes due to pressure build up.They spend the money on the office area, but not on repairing the driveways which they are responsible for or anything else beyond the office area. Their hired security service is a joke, often find them sleeping along the curb on Twain avenue.During the COVID pandemic, they not only cut themselves off from their residents, but actually have the Gaul to raise the space rents.The home that they rent out are not maintained and they don’t have to abide by the “taking care of your homes appearance, trash, weeds and the such”.Now they ticket your cars if you’re parked along the curb in front of the home you own for longer than 30 minutes, but if you’re a friend of Joe, then it’s no problem.The place is not Elder friendly anymore but most residents are on fixed incomes so cannot afford to move out.I would not advise you to purchase a home in the park. It’s sad too because I had hoped it would’ve been a place to call home for a very long time. But Grace and Joe have destroyed that over the past 4 years. Just ask Charles J. who’s investigated the continued code violations.Talk to the residents before you buy, I should’ve.

Would not recommend living here. Not a 55+ community. Loved it 10+ yrs ago. So different now. Last nite 7 shots rang out took police 45 minutes to respond; after multiple calls to 911.

I dont think they should use your credit report to stop you from renting from when you have perfect renters credit never missed a payment

Its always clean place is very safe many residents are moving in and new homes being built. This is a very well-established community under supervised management all year round.

Place is very quite, area is clean and Ive called for maintenance twice, jobs were completed the same day I called. Office personnel are friendly and helpful. I have nothing negative to say, and would recommend Cabana for renters 55+, nice place to live.

This review is regarding Cabana Mobile Home Park. Being that it is a 55+ community, it stays very quiet. Everyone keeps to themselves and follows the rules. Cosmetically its not overly appealing to the eye. It could use a little TLC but its not bad. Average I guess. There is security, although Ive never seen him, l But I know they are there! How else would I get a notice to move MY CAR out of MY DRIVEWAY! I can only drive one car at a time, so thats what I do. Both cars are registered and insured but I guess Im only allowed to own one car at a time. Havent figured that part out yet. Being that this is Las Vegas and it does reach about 120 degrees in the summer, give or take a few degrees, a pool is the best way to cool off. Plus I like to swim laps for exercise so the pool was a big selling point for me. Havent been able to enjoy it since Ive lived there. They waited until it reached triple digits outside, then shut the pool down to drain it and resurface it or something. Looks like it will be closed all summer. Seems like it would be cheaper to do that in the off season but Im sure they know what they are doing. Its good to see our dues being used wisely. The curbs are a bit annoying. When you look at them they look like normal rounded curbs. The kind you can bump and roll right over them. Driving a car over them is a whole different story. If you dont creep over them very, very slowly and then turn the wheels to the right for one tire to get down the curb, then crank the wheel to the left to get the other tire down the curb, all while going 1 mph, youre going to lose a car part. Took me a while to figure out how to do it without scrapping the bottom of my average car, but I got it now. I tried putting those metal ramps in the driveway but guess what? Another letter from security whom Ive never seen. All in all its not too bad.....just average. Could be worse. Could be better. I will be moving out soon. I dont like being told to move my car and I dont like scrapping my car when Im pulling in and out of the driveway. I have never stepped in dog poo though so thats a plus! Its close by shopping and a casino if thats your thing. You could probably walk it but I wouldnt suggest it. Especially in the summer when theres no pool to come home too. A bit of a walk to the bus stop also. A quick drive though. Just dont leave a car at home. You must take both of them when you go somewhere. Well I hope this helps you in your decision making. If it doesnt sound like the place for you, there is a much nicer community just down the street off of Cabana, and Ive seen thier security guard!

You do not want to live here. This supposedly Senior Park is now allowing any rif raft to move in, including drug dealers. A majority of the seniors are now moving out. The company likes to jerk all the seniors around, causing several seniors to just up and leave their homes. Our parents live there and are trying to sell their mobile home to the park and have been jerked around now for 4 months. No one ever gets back to you. Just found out that my parents next door neighbors are having the same issue. I would not suggest this place to any senior. My parents have lived here for 30 years and never had any problems until the last couple years when they started letting anyone in here (senior citizen or not). Stay away from this place if you can. I had to give it a 1 star since it would not allow me to enter a 0.

Watch out for the fast talking mgr. Grace. This place is awful. Rents keep going higher and higher. They refer to this place as a resort. Its more like the last resort run by Dis-Grace

Beautiful peaceful place for living,My fiances father lives there and it seems like a really nice and quiet place perfect for elderly people!

The drug dealers next door to me shot a hole in my window and killed my pet African Grey. The police said that they had outstanding warrants on most of the occupants of that house. Come to find out they are related to the manager here as well. I was told that I will pay for calling the police and everyday the make the gun sign pulling the trigger.I decided to purchase and train up on using a handgun and shotgun. I put a camera outside since they keyed my car and cut the tires. The manager who is involved does nothing and the company is of no help. I just hope they try something and I will put 18 rounds in them with my 15 rounds with a +2 extender and one in the chamber.Sad it has come to this but I think it is time to file a class action lawsuit and see if other communities are wanting to join the suit.Better Call Saul

I would love to give this place a better rating as l have lived as a renter here for 5 years and generally like the place. However, there are a lot of annoyances and inconvenience. Ive lived with substandard appliances for several years. My double oven quit working about 3 years ago and they refused to replace it with another. Cabana was willing to replace it with a single. We declined as a single mini oven is insufficient for us tho now we live with a half working double oven. Our carport awning blew off 2 years ago in a whirlwind. Scratched my car, left dirt on everything I had stored in an add-on that shared the roof. Cabana paid for the scratch only.The rent goes up annually by the max amount allowed, though no improvements or maintenance is routinely done. We have a great maintenance guy, but he is severely limited by mgmt in what he can do.If youre a grandparent and have children that like to visit and swim, I would not recommend this place. Cabana has ridiculously restricted the pool hours for children. I would like to recommend Cabana, but I cannot. It is not the same place that we moved into five years ago.

Great place for Elder people to live that have a lot of activities

Even though rent rates have gone up, the service is punctual and completed in a timely manner. With economic and social ills in our world today, Cabana is a clean, quiet and comfortable place to live.
