My wife and I loved this hotel! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a more low key, but still gorgeous, hotel. We loved the lights on the mirrors and the mirrors themselves because they made the room look even bigger. Honestly I have no complaints other than the fact that the pillows were too fluffy for my noodle neck but that’s more a matter of personal taste. The water pressure in the shower is phenomenal! Def recommend it if you coming to Vegas with your partner
The location sucked—the monorail was closed due to COVID stuff, which would’ve made things much better. Our room was clean and nice, staff were very helpful. (I did sit on hold for 25 minutes trying to ask check in questions, but found the live chat online to be more responsive.)Our room had a king bed, a long couch, an arm chair, desk area, two gorgeous infinity mirrors, a large shower, and a fridge.
The hotel was clean and overall I am happy with my stay. The rooms are quite small and the layout of the room is poorly designed making it difficult to enjoy the view of the streets and buildings outside. I really like that the casino area is separate from the hotel entrance. This made it nice so that I didn’t have to walk my kids through the casino when we arrived at the hotel. Pool closes too early @ 6 pm.
Made reservations for 3 nights. We went to our room and it was small, it smelled like cigarettes, no view, no fridge, no microwave. We communicated to the lady that checked us in if we could have a different room. She straight out refused. She claimed she already gave us a better room than what we were going to get. Although, when she checked us in, she never made any mention of an upgrade. She didnt even welcome us to the hotel. The staff is simply transactional rather than welcoming and friendly. There is no breakfast and no shuttle available. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.
I dont think Id stay here again. The room was super clean and I love that they sanitize the remote controls. The picture on the shade over the window that hung over the bed was rather creepy. The overall energy of that hotel was unsettling to me. Im an energy healer and read energy so Im sensitive, others may not feel that at all. I didnt feel the hotel had a lot to offer. Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The elevator situation was annoying but with Covid, I understand. While priced nicely, it wont make it to my favorite list.
Wow! The energy in this hotel is DARK, very bad, my god! There is something happening there sinister.. Guest are unaware of. Will never stay there again. My stay ended up only being a few hours because I couldn’t endure the terrible bad vibe. I swear if everyone was as sensitive to these things as me, none of you would stay there. What are they doing... Or what did they do there!? My god.
Positive: Just another night in a hotel. Negative: Nope.
Overall a great stay. I booked our stay from a 3rd party and everything went off without a hitch. The front desk staff were very helpful and rooms were nice and clean. The view from the room was spectacular.
The decor is modern and very swanky. Rooms are spacious, bright and clean. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was modern with walk-in shower, no tub. The room had a fridge, which is rare for strip hotels, but no coffee maker., there is a nice Starbucks just downstairs.Just wish there was an additional curtain to put in front of the shade, as once the sun came up, the light came thru on the sides, making the room very bright. I would gladly stay here again.
Positive: Variety of restaurants Negative: Too much traffic
Positive: Bang for my buck Negative: No I got what I paid for
The best hotel in Las Vegas. We go in two opportunity with my friends and with my family. All places that i was visited have a good valoration, but when you see the services and the differents options that you have in Sahara Hotel you really like it. Have a good Tacos and Margarita drinks..I add different photos about our last travel because want to learn people to travel to anyway and stay happy :)
It was my first time staying there. I wasnt putting high expectations on the rooom. The lobby was nice and clean. I seen there was a long line to check in. I thought it was gonna take long time to finely get to my room. But it was quick and easy to check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I went to my room and all I have to say is WOW!!! The room was so clean and the decor was really modern with huge mirrors that lit up. The lighting was perfect. I definitely will be a returning guest and i will be recommending this place to my friends and family when they come to town.
Awesome Strip property with that old school vibe. Great updates and gaming is wonderful as far as selections and minimums. A real throw back to what Vegas once had and needs again. The restaurants can compete with any of the Strip properties as far as quality and staff. Rooms were renovated ad they opened up. Never had a problem or issue with a room. GO NORTH STRIP!
The hotel is beautiful, rooms were spotless and comfortable, We visited in December and enjoyed a great view and the fireworks! The restaurants inside the hotel had great food, service was great all around. The Sahara was a great fit since we dont like crowded places, long lines or having all that people walking the reception at all times. This was a great family time and we really enjoyed the stay!
Very clean and cost effective. Absolutely awesome experience Food services awesome lil pricey. But for convenience to be expected. Enjoying the night lights and the strips. Casinos and the events that are Covid19 and social distance prevention measures included. #2020
Positive: It was very roomy. Negative: The bathroom did not have a door.
Everything is beautiful here, my only concern is the cleaning. I found hair in my shower and on the white couch I had to wipe up stains. No dine in service as it states, I kinda understand, to minimize mess, but workers should just clean better. Was looking forward to resting. Will probably not come here again because I’m clean conscious. Great deal. Not really comfortable.
Fabulous is the word!!! Gambling, luxurious rooms, stores within the hotel, swimming,, they definitely treat you like royalty,,,, Which they should, Because if your pockets is light this isnt the place for you. So if you come to Vegas, especially on the strip you better have some money to spend cause everything is so expensive. P.S. Beware of all the hidden fees that they or the airlines dont tell you. All the resorts have $ 153.00 dollar resort fee an a $200.00 deposit on the rooms.
Plenty of free, safe, and covered parking. Easily accessible via Paradise Road or Las Vegas Blvd. Close to shops but not in a crowded area. Affordable room rates. Contemporary room decor. Clean hotel, management very understanding and willing to assist with your stay. 2 pools, and plenty of elevators.
I had the best experience with this hotel.. If I could give 1000 stars I would! I had a family emergency and checked out prematurely. Well I made a serious mistake and instead of saying oh well Ms. you’re S.O.L.. Mr Greg, Enrique and Crystal accommodated me by letting me stay in my room for the night and are going to work with me to stay till tomorrow. They are truly the best of the “Sahara Hotel” and I truly appreciate them! Thanks again you guys.. ;)
This was by far the best stay Ive ever had. The service is beyond expectations. I celebrated my birthday this year here. I will definitely go back. Beautiful resort. So much to do. And their lounge area is everything. I had a 8 hours stay before my flight. And even though I had checked out. I was able to relax in their lounge area until it was time for my flight. Thank you so much Sahara for the best experience.
Positive: Staff Negative: Not really.
I love the new renovation. They took our temps before getting checked in. Masks being worn. Ladies cleaning. We checked in the alexandria tower. It was clean, not many people. Starbucks downstairs. Got tacos and couple of drinks at bar area. They were really good and fast service. Pool area for kiddies in the pool was absolutely great. People were friendly. Took our temps, checked our bags before entering the casinos. Felt safe even though I was really hesitant on coming to vegas. Our side of tower did not smell like cigarettes or weed. Extremely pleased with my stay!
With everything that is going on with the pandemic the Sahara has done an excellent job under these conditions. Will definitely be returning.
We absolutely loved our room. It was clean and very nice. It was perfect.. The staff was friendly we even checked in early. Hotel was close to every place we went too. Will be my go to hotel for Vegas...
Recently remodeled, this #Vegas classic is a tremendous stay at an excellent value! Hip rooms with large plasma television, complimentary water, and ultra chic lobby make this place very cool. This is one of the cleanest hotels I have been too, and the staff were Professional and Friendly. When I checked out, we left an important item in the room, and I called the hotel. Security went to the room to retrieve it, and special Thanks to Security Officer Larry Gilbert for all his help! I like the value of high quality rooms for less then $100, including the resort fee! WIFI worked great and I also like they only require $50 a night deposit for incidentals!Highly Recommend The #Sahara
There are so many hotels to choose from when trying to stay in Las Vegas. I chose this hotel because it didnt include any of those pesky resorts fees that many of the other hotels do.This hotel may not be in the middle of the strip but that didnt bother me, literally everything we needed was a quick drive away. Customer service was great and my wife had a fun time with the virtual concierge where you can literally text any questions or concerns to which is helpful when you have two kids! The beds were comfy but to me they didnt seem a full queen size, but we all fit nonetheless.Rooms were very clean and the hotel seemed quite Covid conscious, requiring all guests to wear masks (and even offered them). We did not get to explore the casino much since we had kids but the hotel overall seemed luxurious, clean and welcoming- definitely full of life! This hotel made our week stay in Vegas a comfy one.
Decent hotel. Clean rooms. A bit far from the action on the strip, which is the only real negative. Also because of Covid, some amenities arent available, but one of the best values on the strip right now
Positive: nice room Negative: view could have been better
Positive: Leaving Negative: The guest were trashy and rude.
Small gaming floor but clean and nice..employees seem friendly.. good food choices..Small poker room but have promos...I will return
Positive: Customer service Negative: N/A
Seems like a nice hotel, but, their mexican food restaurant is way over priced, $12 for chips and guacamole. Really? Room was a corner room that was cheesy in decor. Horrible. No view from windows. A wall! Should be a storage room. Try a different hotel I say.
Room is adequate for 60 per night. Older worn decore. Guest services was fast bringing ice bucket and hair dryer
Positive: Quitness Negative: No variety of food
Positive: the ease of checking in and out. Negative: it smelled to much like smoke
Positive: Very nice place Negative: Everything was good
Its was...OK. the set up inside is EXACTLY like the SLS except I think they moved the center bar off to the side and added machines where the players club use to be.The place is reeally empty these days. Its open to the public but oh so dead inside. At least the parking lot has a decent view of the strip. If youre looking for somewhere exciting to go to, this may not be it.
A bit out of the strip but is perfect location not too busy not overwhelming crowds, room was comfortable and clean, very nice hotel
Seems to take covid seriously with masks and cleaning and social distancing. Room was large and comfortable but the decor is abandoned carnival gaudy and there were 2 outlets, 3 if you count the bathroom. The van drivers that take you to and from the airport are supposed to wear a mask but they wear it improperly, clearly exposing their noses. Is it really that difficult to train your employees to wear a mask properly?
Positive: The overall cleanliness of the hotel Negative: No
This was my first stay at Sahara, my room was nice and the casino was very nice also. Limited dining options due to Corona.
Positive: Room and shower Negative: We got lost trying to find the the lobby out the parking garage
Positive: It had smoking rooms Negative: That the room wasnt cleaned up as it should be
Positive: Very helpful staff and guest services.. Great job team!!
Ive been here for a business trip last October of 2019 and very convenient that it was by the monorail since it had a stop by the convention center. I think as long as you use the monorail app on your phone rather than purchasing a paper ticket you are fine since the ticket can get stuck in the machine if wrinkled. The Sahara Las Vegas had a nice pool area not too crowded like other hotels and really good drinks by the cabanas.
Have enjoyed my last two stays at the Sahara. One in June and one this past weekend. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean which is great during these times. The Sahara has been pretty busy both times Ive been which has resulted in long elevator lines given social distancing policies. I understand the policy but 20 minutes for an elevator is not great! Other than that, thank you Sahara for a great time (and I even won $ the second time).
GREAT experience. Loved the restaurants, the casbar, our room, the view, the atmosphere. EVERYTHING was phenomenal! I personally loved the lighted mirrors in the room and my husband loved the window shade above the bed of the crowd which I have attached!
Although not all restaurants were open, we experienced great service in the Northside Cafe with Eddie and Miguel for breakfast. Their sunny dispositions helped up each morning to swallow the cost of the breakfast which was prepared excellently and was quite generous in its portions. Eddie even remember our coffee selections by the third day of out trip (that made us feel very welcome). We also tried the Bazaar Meats where the steak was succulent and the service by Stacey was superb. Very expensive but with comps we could enjoy this fabulous, 5-star restaurant. The gaming was great, the dealers and especially the hosts, Kurt and Daisy took wonderful care of us. The experience was pleasant and comfortable. This hotel and casino although huge is a great place to relax and enjoy the time you came to spent with family and friends.
My family and I had never heard of this hotel before. It looked good on the website, with pictures of the rooms. It was way better in person than the pictures. Staff were amazing and the roof top pool is fun for the whole family. The Spa,with steam room is so relaxing. What a pleasant surprise The Sahara resort turned out to be.
A really nice hotel with great views, two pools and a few restaurants. This hotel was a great value and very nice inside. It is on the far end of the strip and with the Monorail shutdown currently (9/4/20) it is inconvenient to get down the strip if you dont like walking. The attached picture is the view from our room!
Positive: Room Negative: Pools are small and over crowded
It was a very quiet stay I love the rooms and mirrors the lights on the mirrors I like that their TV goes black so I can still hear their voices in the background that is something that I really like because I like to hear the voices but hey sleeping with the TV on crazy right
I honestly really like the hotel the customer service makes it for me Ive been to some of the 5 star 5 diamond hotels in Las Vegas and the customer service ruins it but the sahara stay consistent
Nice hotel. Great value for the price. Classy and nicely decorated. Was not happy that someone vomited in the Alexandria pool and it was not vacuumed out:/ Gross!!! I got out and did not get back in. GREAT complimentary packet of face masks and wipes in the room. Need more hand sanitizer stands available near doors, the slots, and elevators:(
Negative: They close the pool so early, and the elevators waiting time was really hard at the check out time..
Positive: Very clean room and easy checkin Negative: Cigarette smoke from hallway into our room
What an amazing little gem! I loved the uniqueness of my room. The room and bathroom were very clean and the shower has a special rain shower feature . Its sweetService at the registration desk as well as the front desk to to upper floors was friendly, helpful and I was happy to be there.Room service is quick and efficient. They communicated very clearly in regards to wait time and delivery. The food did not disappoint! What did disappoint was Beers & Bets, located right off the casino. The service was bad and they just didnt care. I got a take out order so I could sit on the patio, by the time I got my food it was soggy burger bun and mushy truffle fries. It was inedible, unfortunately.Live and learn! I still very much enjoyed my stay!I also visited the spa a few times and got an incredible massage one day and a relaxing facial the next. Both did an amazing job.
The hotel was nice overall, and cleaning staff did an amazing job coming into room everyday to clean. The hotel offers a variety of restaurants and games in casinos, not as popular as I expected hotel to be but it could have been due the pandemic. The reason I am giving the hotel a 2/5 is due to lack of communication from management to hotel guest. On our last day of our stay we got up early to get ready for our early flight. As we were brushing teeth we noticed water pressure started to cut off. Shower was not working and toilet would not flush. We continued to try to make it work but nothing. We called front desk, but the person there was not helpful or understanding or the situation. She not once apologized for the inconvenience or tried to make matters any better by stating the issue was trying to be resolved.I asked several questions to understand what was going on, that’s when she stated that there was a maintenance issue and water had been off for over an hour, and stated it would be off for a couple of hours. I asked if there could be something done about the situation since we needed to get ready and leave in an hour. She just stayed quiet and made it seem like it was our issue to resolve. Then hung up on us.I have worked in hospitality before and understand issues do arise but that is not the way to handle a situation like that.We ended up going down to front desk and found that we were most definitely not the only ones complaining of the issue.A hotel with this magnitude and popularity should be able to handle situations like this, I wish we would’ve received an email (email current guest) notification about the issue as soon as the issue occurred. Or a note under the door like many hotels do.This is definitely not something I was expecting from a hotel like this.
Definitely going back to this hotel. It was nice and everything looked remodeled. Staff were really friendly and the room was super clean. We also got a complimentary upgrade thanks to the staff at the front desk
Grest place to stay and play. Great location in Vegas. Great Staff. Clean cool rooms.
Nice, friendly, clean. Room was great. Would definitely stay here again. Restaurants were good. Pool was nice also.
Nice place. Only bad thing was the long wait for the elevator, and the room doesnt have a fridge or microwave. Never had a chance to see the pool. 150 refundable security deposit is required. Staff is nice, room can be cleaned a little while better mean dusting. Might come back soon.
Positive: Size Negative: Location is far
Excellent and courteous staff. Super helpful, and allowed me to park my boat trailer on property. Great room at a very affordable price.
Negative: Nothing available hotel still charge the high price resort fee
Negative: The smell of marijuana in the hall and at times in the room. Complained to staff multiple times. Improved but never went away. Caused me to have headaches daily.
Positive: Good location and easy parking Negative: Charged us additional fees
The renovation to the casino is Top Notch. Due to covid restrictions theres not a lot of open tables available & the tables are cramped by bystanders due to the social distancing practices. Good food & clean fun environment. Definitely a recommended place to stay or play
Front counter staff and Room were really nice. Casino was adequate but average. Availability of food and drinks very minimal. Went down for coffee at 3:30 in the afternoon, Starbucks closed 6 hours early and nothing else open. Nothing nearby within walking distance.
It was my first time here & I had a good time. It was good value for the money. The room was big but had too many mirrors; did not have a good view. Comfy beds but they were small for two people to sleep on the same bed. My biggest concern was no doors for the bathroom. There was no privacy at all while showering or getting dressed. If youre here with family youd want to make sure you dont get this room. The hotel is still under construction so there were few disturbances in the casino. Some good and bad sides of SLS.
Positive: The lighted mirrors and beautiful strip scenery through the windows
I loved it, so clean. Will definitely come back from Miami. Had a beautiful view from the room.
Positive: The expensive look. Negative: The fridge was too small. Wanted to freeze something but I didnt see that the fridge could.
Positive: The location and overall it was a nice hotel. Negative: I didnâ€t get the room that I choose via the website & the line to get on the elevator was RIDICULOUS.
Positive: The Room surprisingly nice. A little small
Positive: The room was beautiful. I loved the lights and the bed was very comfortable. Negative: They allowed too many people into the pool area. It was very crowded and the lines to the elevator were terrible. The casino was open, but the exercise room had hours and closed early. Most of these issues are really the fault of Covid 19.
Positive: How beautiful it was inside and out. Negative: Housekeeping did not clean our room and changed our towels.
So sorry to see one of my favorite towns being a ghost towns. But the Sahara did not disappoint. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the pillows a great way to sleep. The rooms where very modern because we had no drawers to put are cloths away in. But they did have hair dryer and an iron with ironing broad. The mini bars where empty so we could keep our drinks cold. But over all i was happy with price and room. Too much detail to cover the whole room.
Positive: The food and the staff Negative: no microwave I couldnt stay here again. I couldnt warm my coffee or food that was a waste of MY MONEY.
Really nice hotel w casino shops restaurants.. beautiful rooms.. No complaints at all. Comfy bed. Love!
Sahara Las Vegas was an excellent hotel. I had tons of fun at the hotel. The rooms were amazing. I stayed in a room that had not yet been newly remodeled and was thoroughly pleased. The reviews frightened me so I did not know what to expect. Wow I am so glad I stayed there. When I say the staff the room the lobby the halls were all amazing, I was so impressed I took pics shared with friends as soon as I arrived. This is a delightful hotel. In every respect
Positive: Staff, amenities available
Great hotel with great amenities... just too bad bad its a bit off the strip.
Inside looks similar to the Wynn.. Super Clean and Elegant. Pools were nice and not overcrowded. Cudtomer service and security staff were super helpful and pleasant. The rooms were perfect, modern, clean and stylish.. we will be staying here again..
Its a very nice beautiful place to stay and lots of fun, stayed there twice so far and enjoy both times we stayed
Positive: The room very nice Negative: No
Clean, nice showers. They charge $30 to use an empty mini bar....which smelled bad. When I called at 10:50pm to ask if someone could clean the fridge and they said they would send someone up no big deal. So I waited until 1:30am and no one showed so I went to bed. Honestly because of that I probably wouldnt stay again, not as nice as I thought.
Very good hotel! Very cleaned and organized the only downside is that smells like marijuana everywhere. Other then that a nice place to stay.
First of all, all the construction going on can get you lost in less than seconds. The pictures that are shown are pretty deceiving in my opinion. They are extremely small and not like whats on their website. I was in the casino on my very last day of stay and I was not offered a drink at all. My friend actually ordered a drink for me but the waitress only brought one for her because she said, The section i was at was not her section. I also tried to get someone else to get e assistance but he also didnt help me and walked away. i would recommend a different place for the price we paid. Laura
Positive: The shower Negative: There wasnâ€t any smoking rooms available
Nice rooms.. And the slots are really hitting right now.. Got a great deal on our room for a few days... Countless other shops and activities for all ages..
Remodeled rooms r amazing! The machines r fun the staff is friendly and I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed. Definitely my new favorite get away spot as Im a local and like to get away from time to time.
Absolutely beautiful place! Minutes from the hustle and bustle on the strip. Only problem I had was the two pools were very small for the size of the hotel and amount of people. The elevators weren’t all running so it caused a back up for people getting up too their rooms due to them only letting 4 people on at a time. The line stretched through the lobby and it was like the staff were not worried at all about the problem. Hopefully things are better next time, but I’m they still get a 5 stars for the great room and it was very clean.
