Positive: Bed was so comfy, showers and ac Negative: My room view wasnt too great
Location is great you are right on Fremont street. Definitely try out Evil Pie short walk down the street (pizza restaurant). Only downside was that our room happend to be looking at the light show and the noise level was loud. They did offered ear plugs in the room. A lot of cheap restaurants right outside the casino, Lobster & steak for $11.99We probably messed up buying pizza but it was really good.(2 Pictures are what we see looking out our room window again just the screen).
Four queens has been the best place to play slots! You actually get to sit down and play for a bit versus when you play at the MGMs you put money in and its gone in seconds. Here you actually can leave with a positive amount of money. The Magnolia restaurant is an awesome place to eat. It is very affordable (like prices from the 90s) and its not bad kinda cafeteria style but well worth the price when you compare it to any other restaurant on the main strip. Outside of the casino feels much safer. Lots of security and street performers have circles they must stay in. A+
To be honest I thought it was going to be worst, it isnt too bad, but they may improve little things like fix the safe box, clean better the carpet but I understand that this place is old and maintenance is harder. I stayed in a room next to the Fremont experience and the noise is insane but I think that was my fault cause I didnt specify that with your registration guy.
Positive: Location is great. Staff was nice. Negative: Room was dusty. Decor is old and shabby. Got bug bites on my feet and legs. Bedbugs.
Positive: Location in the Fremont Experience. Negative: Crowded smokey casino floor.
Positive: No resort fee Negative: Rooms were dirty run down
Positive: Location, price, gambling Negative: Sink in bathroom was clogging up.
I like it here, I will be back. The rooms were small but comfortable. Parking was easy. If you have stayed across the street you will love it by comparison.
It was so hard to get someone to validate my parking ticket. I asked 3 people who worked there and they all have so much attitude with a touch of snobbery. I was on my way to purchase a drink from the bar when THE sweetest lady we happen to stumble upon ordering saw our ticket and asked if we would like her to validate it. I really appreciate her kindness and because of her we didn’t have to wait until a bartender noticed us, from the 5 people sitting at the bar. Wasn’t even busy and they just dismiss us because we look “young”. Yes, we’re young but we spend just as much money. We contribute the same. It’s reasons like these that scare us off from supporting smaller hotels/casinos.
Was a great time, some of the mask restrictions are bit over the top. Watching people told to raise their mask between drinks and drags at the bar was extremely bizarre and irrational while irritating anyone at the bar. While I understand the restrictions in place, the rudeness I saw to a couple havimg a smoke was a bit extreme and the only reason I took off a star. Otherwise was a pleasant experience considering.
Our original room was gross. The standard double queen room was damp and smelled. We went to the front desk to upgrade our room, and Im glad we did. The suite we upgraded to was beautiful. Over all, I probably wont stay here again though because the entire hotel reeked of smoke, and when we got home, all of our clothes and luggage did too, despite the fact that we were staying in a smoke free room.
Beyond great. I love the fact that they dont charge a resort fee. There is no hidden charges what you see is what you pay. The beds where super comfortable the bathroom was nice. The staff was professional and willing to help.
Positive: location Negative: elevators not working majority of my stay.
Negative: The room was nothing special not clean looking at all staff not that friendly at all wont be coming back
Positive: location Negative: Room on 1st floor overlooked a very dirty rooftop that was littered with cigarettes and garbage.
Positive: The casino. Negative: Very dirty and stinky.
Best players club 1st time enrollment bonus option down town these days. 5$ free play. Employees seem content. Traditional.
The room is super basic. A bit shabby. Pretty cool view looking out over fremont experience tho. Road construction on all corners and parking garage elevators not working makes vehicle access super hard
I have been staying and playing at the Four Queens for 40 + - years. Most all the employees are wonderful and extremely friendly. Plenty of spots to get food and drinks. Dont miss Hugos Cellar for fine dining! We have made lots of memories and many friends there.Duffy
Positive: Location Negative: Maid service was not good
Love that you can sit outside the restrooms to wait for for your spouse.. Love how clean and love that you dont smell so much cigarette smells..
The casino is pretty basic, old fashion style classic. Magnolias is a good cafe, diner food, no frills.
Parking structure was unavailable due to having recently caught on fire. I had to park at their sister casino down the street. The room Im in isnt even the room I booked. What good does it do to reserve/pay for a Premium King Suite and get stuck in the peasant quarters? Either I watch the TV with the volume up while i go to sleep..... or I listen to the various rock bands/DJs scream into the mics.
The price was good.NO RESORT FEES HERE EVER!!!!! I will pick this place again just for that reason alone. They also have a few 24 hour PLACES LOVE THAT TOO!!!! The Magnolia was a great restaurant plus they give you discounts when you sign up for a players card.I got free T-shirt deck of cards a mini hand sanitizer free play.Im not saying anything about the others places right there in the casino and that is so convenientIm not saying because we never went. We started at the Magnolia and that is were we ate every time. I will stay here again. We never left the casino but on our way home we noticed 99 cent shrimp cocktail. It like old Vegas use to be.We enjoy some good deals.
Awesome vintage hotel. Lots to do and right on Freemont street. Only thing is one tower of rooms over looks Freemont and is noisy until 2am. But if your one that stays out late that may not bother you. I still enjoyed it regardless
I stayed in the North Tower 18th floor. Who ever is the housekeeper on that floor ahead needs to learn how to clean. My room was full of dust the tub was dirty. Anyone can come up to the rooms. I had someone testing my door one night. Trying to open it. Everyone needs to wear a hair net. I found hair tangled in the majority of my towels as well as my food. Oh and I also found dirty ear plugs in my room.
Positive: The location and that they didnt charge resort fees Negative: The bedding was dirty and the rooms smelled like marijuana
Four Queens is always nice. They wear masks, they take care.
So, here is the reality on 10/23. Fremont experience is open but no bands. Masks are required but can be removed when eating, drinking, smoking. Street performers are again doing their thing. The vibe is pretty close to normal. 4 Queens rooms in the north tower are very outdated but the bed is comfortable. Most resteraunts open. Stay at the 4 Queens for a cheap room with no frills and no resort fee. If you need a coffee maker or hi def TV, stay elsewhere.
I love the FOUR QUEENS. For its nostalgia. For Binions steer ensconced Cadillac parked outside the hotel entrance. For the affordability. The quality. The accessibility to Freeman. The alternate exit to other domains. The spacious comfortable rooms. Mine eastward facing-greeting the sun every morning. The onsite eateries. Comfort food. Defined. And, last but not least, the casino. Where I won what I had spent on my trip. My last night there.
Positive: No resort fees Negative: There prime rib was just a pile of fat with a small dried out potato
Its a great casino on the Fremont experience you can pop in and gamble and out to checkout different art performers and on to the next casino
Positive: No resort fee and restraunts were open during covid19 Negative: Staff was not friendly or helpful
Rooms are dated and not in best repair. But for the price it is good value in Vegas. Friendly staff and services were good
Positive: the shower and bed Negative: the elevators being down in this extreme heat
Love the free spin off Fremont street in front of the four queens, the machines paid out pretty good, however the line for a players card was way to long and took forever!!!!!
Just run down and old. Some people prefer the old strip. I did not see the appeal in it whatsoever. It was more wannabe NYC like than the new strip. When I eventually go back to Vegas I will skip the old strip entirely.
Room was so nice and clean. Sleep like I was home. I will return.
Four Queens its a great place to be and hang out whether inside or by the outside. The Casino Floor is amazing.Very relaxed atmosphere.
Love Four Queens! No resort fee. Prefer South Tower over North Tower because we are older and want sleep without noise. The noise is Fremont Street noise and no blame to the hotel itself. Love the atmosphere and the staff. Look forward to our next stay.
Positive: Negative:
This was a pretty good experience based on play time and getting good hands dealt on video poker. Unfortunately the overall feel and energy of downtown has gotten way harsh homeless approaching you while you gamble and gang activity makes it more stressful than it should be. Hopefully this will handled soon and it will return to its wild FUN ways.In the meantime be safe.
Positive: No resort fees
No resort fee so you get what you pay for. Wish they did a better job cleaning the rooms, repair elevators, and the television would switch input on its own.
This casino is always friendly and I can play for a while without breaking the bank. They are concerned about distancing which also helps. The machines are all on but chairs have been removed unlike other casinos that turn off alternating slots making less chances of play & win.
This is an older Freemont Street property, but has been well maintained. Definitely one of the friendlier staffs in Vegas. Ive always had good luck here on slots. Ive enjoyed many meal at Magnolias and prices are really reasonable.
Great staff but the rooms are kinda dingey. No tub, small shower, pathetic shower head goes from barley warm to cold and back every few seconds. Rooms are very large, lots of empty space. Feels like its missing furniture or something its so big.
One major plus to the four Queens is No resort fee... Nice, but older hotel, there were several times only 2 of the 4 elevators were working but all in all a great experience. Had a nice big room with plenty of space, would love to come back once the shows can start back up
My stay at this hotel was great and very happy. The customer service was excellent and thank you to Demetrius for helping me and my husband out on are situation we had with grayhound bus. I would come back
I enjoyed my stay at the Four Queens and will book again soon. My room was great the only problem I had was my window needed cleaning. I had a blast the casino was cool too.
The rooms were not too updated. the bathrooms look like cheap rental apartments where they use paint to update countertopsoutdated TVsoverall it justhad a very cheap feelthe 2 little pillows on each bed were flattened and cheap feelingthe staff was very nice and appeared to be safethey took our temperature when we checked in and gave us hand sanitizerno valet service and the parking garage elevators werent workingthe Cellar restaurant was very accommodating.i recommend making reservations
The front desk was so considerate and kind. Would love to stay again.. Great job at the customer service..
The hotel room was nice and clean. The staff were all friendly and made it most accommodating during our stay. My stay here was pleasant with the only thing didnt like was that the pool was located at the Binions hotel across the street.
Its in the heart of the Fremont Experience. While fun its pretty touristy, Lots to do, 4 major Casinos, lots of food places, people watching. low class stuff too. Overall a good hotel.
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice & when I say it’s AMAZING & CHEAP! It’s the only downtown location with no resort fees. Please stay in the South Tower!!!!!!! It’s very clean, updated & way better!!! 1928, 1426 were my rooms & I loved it.Sidenote; North Tower is very low budget, I stayed in a room on that side for less than 2 hours & caught a crazy rash & bumps on my skin. Had to change rooms ASAP front desk took care of me Stay away from North Tower & also can’t book for more than 2 weeks so keep that in mind. Overall good experience for saving money!!!!
Positive: The access to the strip.
I am giving it a five. My south tower room is newer and clean. I read a lot of reviews saying the place reaks of weed. There is a slight hint of it in the air, but I think most of vegas smells like weed. Even with the masks Freemont st. Is off the hook . I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget or just want to party.
Always love going downtown, had such a good time! Old time lights and ambiance, a great way to spend a Sunday evening after Hugos Cellar scrumptious dinner.
Stopped for a few hours as we passed through LV. Parking was easy enough to find and wasnt terribly expensive. Found a few video poker machines, settled in and had some fun. Won some money before we had to go. Every other seat/machine was closed in this age of covid. Drink service was frequent and fast. Smoke was not noticeable and the place was clean, including the restrooms. Still a good place to visit. Not fancy like those on the Strip but a lot more fun. Worth the visit.
Positive: Right smack dab on the Fremont strip. little loud at night from the street noise. Negative: street noise. not a problem that can be fixed. it due to location.
Dont expect to enjoy a minute of sleep. Sounded like an edm concert outside our window.. room was basic and a bit outdated. The hallways look like the sketchy movie set of a murder.. bell desk lady was pleasant, our stay was not. I was tempted to check out immediately but had sleepy and grumpy kids. Too bad they couldnt sleep through the drunks and noise. This hotel is a dumpster fire.
The rooms are OLD. The phone doesnt work, the AC took hours to cool the room, the bathtub runs constantly and evrything is super outdated. We only stayed for one night so it was okay, you get what you pay for. They did let us check in early so that was nice.
I like this little place it was very enjoyable nice and cozy and the drinks were vantastic
The building is showing its age. The food and the service was good. I put $100 in a slot and cashed out $500. Unfortunately I gave it to my wife who lost it on top of her $800. I read there was a big fire in the parking structure not long after we were there. Im glad I missed that.
Very Lively and full of funny surprises. I thought only Manhattan had all the weirdos lol. But I really enjoyed it.
It was very nice Casino & clean. Just went in to use the restroom & they were nice & super clean.
You cant beat the room rates and NO B.S RESORT FEES!!I booked online which made check-in quick. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and professional. My room was on the 19th floor, the view was incredible. Room was clean, shower was awesome, had a mini fridge. I used to stay at Charlies on Decatur but from now on, the Four Queens will get my business......Charlies can take their $18.99 + tax resort fee and stick it up their a**.
LOVED THE HOTEL, MY VIEW WAS EXCEPTIONAL... REALLY NOSIY BUT WORTH IT... MY ROOM WAS WAS CLEAN EXCEPT NO MICROWAVE! UGH!
The hotel was good. The staff super friendly. However, absolutely no shows until at least November.
Positive: cheapest rates, & no resort fee. Negative: elevator sucks ! staff can be more into customers.
Very beautiful environment lots of fun plenty of places to eat the best place is Subway it has a variety of things you can order besides sandwiches the workers are very friendly fast and the restaurant is always clean
I am not new to las vegas. Been visiting for over 40 years. Four queens is a nice old casino set in the old downtown. To start the parking elevator was out of order? So we made our way by the homeless man sleeping in the stairway, then past the somewhat scary couple smoking dope at the bottom of the stairs, only to be blown away by the smell of more cigarette smoke once in the casino.Service was ok, room was nice though the room next door was so loud we had to complain both days we were there.Price was reasonable and the diner we ate in was great, good food great service and reasonable price.Mixed feelings, likely would not return.
Hotel is outdated. Room was very small,, only 1 outlet worked and no hot water,, Was overcharged, price went up at check in, my total was $887 for 4 nights, I decided to only stay one night when I checked out my total was only $66, now you tell me how 4 nights equal $887, found a better place for a better price somewhere else. Staff did nothing to make it better, will not return.
Positive: Comfortable accommodations. Excellent location. Right on the Freemont Street Experience! Negative: Desk staff was mediocre in customer service skills.
Great casino nice rooms. Will definitely stay here again.
In the heart of downtown, the four queens offers easy access to all the real down and dirty fun Fremont st. has to offer.
Great time just dont take the grumpy clowns pic lol
Its a cool place at first I didnt see no little refrigerator no microwave kind of disappointed but you really dont need it because they have all kinds of restaurants downstairs and its pretty neat you go out the doors and there is all the stores where you can go shopping I really like it I give it a five
Positive: The view and atmosphere
Negative: Rooms were run down and dated. Elevator was broke.
Always busy and very run down. Kids in the casino lots of them. Not sure when this became ok. We did play and I won a Silver Strike coin.
When we first arrived we were placed in a room right above the Fremont Street Experience, too noisy. We changed rooms the next night and were able to sleep finally. I am used to a hotel and casino having a 24/7 restaurant. I guess with Covid-19 things have changed. The price was right, no resort fees, clean rooms.
The casino kept a lot of the old video machines, which make it one of the better places to gamble. They even had a $5 blackjack table available. My favorite gambling place on Fremont!! They could use more variety in places to eat.
You get what you pay for, I booked through Expedia and thought I was getting a deal, I was wrong. We stayed in the North Tower. We were placed in a room that was next to the street neon cover deal. (Bright lights and lots of noise) There were earplugs left in the room. We requested another room, and were put in a room where the A/C wasnt working. They did fix the A/C after we notified them, but the room was supposed to be non smoking and reeked of smoke. There were also 4 poorly patched holes in our room walls. So ok, I know its Vegas and bright lights, noise, and smoke are expected, but not when I sleep.
My sister and I are having a great time,People are so nice that work at The Four Queens Hotel, Its nice here
