I am going to school to learn how to deal black jack. I started at zero, but after the first few days I got the hang of it really quickly with the help of the teachers. They are all so welcoming and knowledgeable. They know where my weakness was and adjusted me immediately so I can learn the right way. Very attentive teachers!!! Very fun and friendly environment! I know I can Ace s my graduation!!!!!

I have been attending Crescent for about 2 months and I really love it here. They are all very welcoming and treat everyone as a big happy family! The owner(Rick) and Cathy make this place a fun and loving place to be.The Instructors at Crescent are vey helpful they take the time to help you learn whatever that game is you are there to learn. Very informational and only wants to see us as students to become great and anything what we are trying to accomplish!!! My experience here has been wonderful! The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the gaming industry. The training received is comprehensive and directly applicable to this profession. As a veteran, I can utilize VA benefits to attend school. Financial aid is available for assistance. Job placement is also a huge bonus. I am a current student here at Crescent. I am learning all the table games, and I absolutely love it here! EVERYBODY is helpful, kind, fun and encouraging. Rick DeBonis is an amazing instructor, he will help you understand what a Dealer will expect at Casinos. Cathy is warm, kind and always greets you when she sees you around. Ive been attending for about 2 months and I am still very happy with this school. Financial aid covered the costs, and it feels great to gain a new skill. Im excited to start a new career as a table games dealer!

Before deciding to come to Crescent for the Bar Management course I was hesitant because I had no experience in the bar industry at all. Despite my lack of prior knowledge the instructors have always been supportive and encouraging. I now feel I am much better not only at handling bottles but having insight into history and the culture of different spirits. Kati and Darryl are the instructors I work with daily and I have never questioned the experience either of them have. They have both given amazing guidance, as well as a friendly face to look forward to everyday.

This is an amazing opportunity to take during this pandemic. Free school for People with low income. They also have an option for student loan/financial aid that will give you living expenses for just attending ! And you don’t have to start any payments for the student loan until 7 months AFTER you GRADUATE. Plus once you finish learn a game, the school can guide you on applying for jobs ASAP!Teachers are great, caring, and welcoming. It is just an amazing school to attend

I currently go to school here & it’s the best. The instructors are very helpful & they make sure they answer all questions. They are very flexible with the schedule, they work with you, and they are very informative. My financial aide came through and I didn’t have to pay for anything. I’m learning all 6 games and they also offer a 3 week alcohol class. I’d highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn how to deal and bartender.

The opportunity I was able to receive of going to crescent schools has been a great benefit for myself, and im sure, many others as well. They were able to get me qualified w/ financial aid as well. Since Ive been there & graduated, Ive received many opportunities to work on the field before I evengraduated, alowing me to get the experience quickly while still being able to learn new stuff. The Crescent School is a fun place to learn about casino gaming.  The staff has been thorough in the subject matter, and they’ve been a joy to learn from.  Topics are covered at a good pace, ensuring we can transfer into the casinos within a short time.  The school also assists qualifying low-income students with free tuition.

I love this school. everyone there is so nice. the owner is dope. cathy is so nice. my teacher Ray and Rick are great. very experienced people all around.also, it is nice that this is the only school that offers financial aid for low income individuals. without that i wouldn’t be able to pursue my dream of dealing cards!everyone should look into attending this school.

2020 since the pandemic I had the best wonderful experience and energy since doing nothing at home. Now today as August 24, 2020 sitting here enjoying my wonderfully Monday. I personally feel ecstatic to learn 5 days a week BlackJack 21 course, it was wonderful with the instructors and students/peers teaching and guiding the path to my job. Without this opportunity I wouldnt have had a great learning experience with everyone that helped me and I helped them madd impact to a great Best West Family Crescent Gamble School.

I love to be a student in the Crescent School of Gaming. That is a very good place to learn about casino table games.  The educational staff has been very helpful and informative, and the placement ratio into casinos is quite high.  The school’s management assist students in arranging government grants, helping make the education affordable.

It was a great experience. I signed up to study with financial assistance from the government and its completely free. After I graduated, the school will help me find a job.

It was a great environment and everyone is always willing to give you a knowledge. Ive been wanting to do a dealer job and it was nice to see a potential after learning from the best instructors. My experience has been nothing short of AMAZING! Honestly, amazing is an understatement. I am enrolled in the dealing classes and bartending classes! All of the staff is very energetic. They are also willing to answer all questions you have! On top of that if you cannot afford to pay for your schooling they assist with that as well! I enrolled to deal and bartend. The staff are attentive and instructive to various levels of learners. The environment is positive. Each day I attend class, it is always enjoyable and entertaining. They work with your schedule if you have work or childcare conflicts to make sure you’re still kept up. I recently got laid off from my work due to COVID and they immediately assisted me in setting up interviews and provided practice, out of class hours, to be competent in the fields I applied for. The best part of this school is that even after you graduate they allow you to visit and continue to give advice while practicing. I highly recommend if you are thinking about getting into the this field.

Great school that works with your schedule and offers both day and night classes. Instructors are very knowledgeable and will work with you if you are having troubles. They offer tuition assistance and accept the GI bill too. I would recommend thia class to anyone interested in learning bartending or gaming.

I currently attend crescent for gaming and technology. They provided me with financial aid and taught me every game in the casino as well as bartending. They are the only school in the country providing financial aid to cover entire cost of school. I even had a few grand left over to help with room and board while i was attending. The ONLY school i would recommend!

I enjoy this school. As a graduate I like coming back to practice at when I have free time, even as a student here, they worked with me and help me get a job while coming to school and worked with my schedule. Also the instructors are very good at teaching, friendly and the students I ran into are just as friendly, willing to learn as well.

This school is great. I was able to get financial aid. Within a month, I passed an audition for blackjack. I love the job placement the school offers. The instructor Dave is patient and provides good feedback to help you succeed. If you put in the work, youll do great. Would highly recommend.

Crescent helped me out a lot!! I moved here in August of 2019 and the job search was difficult so I decided to go to school for Bartending, I came down here with just enough income for a couple months of rent so I couldn’t afford school but Crescent helped with the financial aid side of it! They make it affordable for you to attend. I’m doing the 3-month Bar Management class with Katie and she is great she really knows her material and is willing to teach you well so you don’t go out in the world not being well prepared!!

I have been a student for a little over a month and I have loved every second! The instructors are excellent and it’s feels like a family atmosphere. School is VA friendly and they are very flexible with their hours of teaching, if unable to attend the day class you can make it up in the evening class. Staff is very knowledgeable and personable. They sincerely care about every students progress. Highly recommend for Veterans to try this school out.

Great school awesome teachers Kati does a great job in day bartending class very thorough with drink knowledge including garnishes. The school offers financial aid for students who are not able to pay out of pocket. I chose the bar managment course as I would like to own a bar/club someday and the knowledge you learn is very informative for running and operating a bar or becoming a beverage manager at a casino etc. You learn over 200 common drinks and some specialty drinks as well.Great overall atmosphere and environment they even offer lifetime job placement when you graduate and you can come in anytime to practice after graduation at any location as well which helps as drinks change etc. The table games are always full with people learning and practicing all table games from blackjack to poker.

Crescent gaming school is a great place for people +21 to gain knowledge in gaming tables. The instructors are extremely helpful and caring to all students. They will help you get a job once they have feel you are ready. For me I got a job before graduating, because you have to be patient and put extra time in after regular hours to stay; on keep practicing what I need to work on. If you like be kept busy and deal with customers all the time this is the place for you and after this, it will pay it all off in job.
