This is one the older hotels on the block but it stands up pretty well. The room is nice but not over the top great. The staff was accommodating and brought everything we asked for. The casino is small and has a personal feel to it. I loved the live flamingos and other birds in the court yard area. Today we check out the pool!
stands tall and massive on the Vegas Strip flamingo m with their amazing musical fountains entertaining everyone without any expectations since forever, most fascinating sight in Las Vegas . Their indoor decor is gorgeous, changing with seasons . The casinos are always super packed, with herds of people walking around. Their luxurious shopping arena with all possible high end stores is a cherry on the cake . Having said that, it definitely needs remodeling, rooms are old and fixtures outdated . We booked the fountains facing room, the view was definitely amazing but the rooms and its decor are need big makeover . But the staff was friendly and parking for guests was ample and free . Overall wonderful experience.
Another staycation and Flamingo was our pick this time. Self parking and temperatures are checked upon check in. Older hotel yet remodeled and very easy to get around and self check in option are available. We stayed in the Flamingo junior suite King. Nice room equipped with comfy sectional and TV area, 2 ottomans, dining table with 4 chairs, mini fridge, king bed with its on flat screen for separate TV viewing. The bathroom was nothing fancy, just your toilet, vanity, and shower. They did have hand-pumps filled with lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. The room was overall spacious, the hotel also has a convention area, casino, and restaurants overall cool getaway.
Very nice hotel with impeccable views! Unfortunately it is difficult to get into their pool because of the pandemic but the trick is to text the number right at 10am to get a spot. There’s a lot to do and many places to eat in the immediate surrounding area and the prices were beyond reasonable. Unfortunately the air conditioner had not been working in our room but it wasn’t unbearable (we didn’t even bother to mention it). Overall, it was a good experience and a great place to get away to right now.
Yes, the rooms are clean and okay, but nothing to write home about - thats just a minimum expectation that was met but not exceeded by any means. What diminished the minimum expectation was the check-in process: slow, unfriendly, and not a single person bothers to offer any help, or to acknowledge your presence. Theyre all buried behind their computers, not even looking at you.The parking situation - youre probably on your last nerve at the end of your trip, glad to have finally arrived after navigating through the traffic in Vegas, only to find yourself circling around a hundred times to find parking. There is a parking garage with a number of available parking spaces: do not believe that number. If it says 15, it means none. If it says 25, it means none. Any number it shows, it means none: except the hundreds of reserved valet spots, which they claim is full, youre on your own. In addition to that, valet prices are also spit out by a random number generator, just like the number indicating available parking spots. After hours of circling around, you find out that the free additional parking does exist, its just that the arrows arent pointing in the right direction. How are you supposed to find out without checking in first, which you can only do once youve parked.
I don’t usually write reviews. But I’ve noticed that people who do write reviews are so ready to complain. This was a very special trip for me and my family. The rooms are beautiful and clean and very well-kept. Housekeeping noticed that I was disabled and made special efforts to equip the room to help me with the accessibility‘s. Without being asked. The heat doesn’t work in my room. When maintenance came up they said they would need us to move rooms in order to fix it effectively. We did not want to move rooms because we are moved in and happy. So he brought me blankets. Everyone here has been kind, very helpful, and friendly. The casino is extremely clean and they have done a lot to make sure the machines are protected. The disinfectant wipes are posted everywhere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s in a great spot on the strip and the people here are wonderful
After booking at the Excalibur and having an unpleasant stay, I chose to book here at the Flamingo for the last two nights of my solo vacation. Pretty kool spot. The hot pink decorum was upbeat. The room was basic but far from being plain. The drapes were operated by an electronic remote control switch located in between the two beds. My queen size beds were decorated with wall high decorative white headboards. The shower was outfitted with extra massage shower heads, the sink was upgraded with an in-mirror television. There was a small fridge for several small size beverages. The beds were very comfy with down comforters. A nice sized flat screen wall-mounted tv and the best part was a partial view of the strip. This was a pleasant budget friendly stay. Very pleased.
Well Vegas is open again and our friends chose to come to the Garden Chapel to get hitched. It was so fun to watch them in these beautiful surroundings. Perfect outdoor venue!
Great, clean hotel. Located in the heart of the strip. Fantastic for walking up and down the strip. Slots dont seem too tight. Card games are pretty expensive with most starting at 10-15 minimum.
The Flamingo was great. Good game selections in the casino and the hotel was very comfortable. Easy check in with the kiosk machines. I also liked the habitat area. The only thing I disliked was the shower. The shower was kind of small maybe because Im a plus size person but everytime I try to turn around or raise my arm I kept hitting the soap and shampoo dispensers and it hurt. Also, the curtain in the shower kept sticking to me and I hate the feeling of wet cloth against me.
Good option for decent mexican breakfast food. Entirely too much chorizo for me, so it dominated the omelet taste. Service was good, friendly place.
My 1st time in Vegas and my little one and I enjoyed every minute of it. Her swimsuit also matched our trip to the Flamingo. The staff, the atmosphere and fun people are exactly what we needed. Thanks Flamingo we will be back one day.
Impressive property with a lot of great history. Location is excellent and it was very lively. Prices are better than most of the other properties. We had a great time.
Great staff members, great location and many of fun things to enjoy. The views are amazing day and night. And the weekdays prices are affordable. It was a good place to get away for a while and some fun.
Positive: Near other cadi os Negative: No
Positive: Location Negative: A lot
Despite the long line at check in, the experience was made more tolerable by staff that genuinely cares about their guests and making the wait seem less. The room was nicely decorated and looked newly remodeled. One Miss is that this hotel does not offer room service. The restaurants at the lobby level provide a wide range of choices, but sometimes a traveler just wants a little room service! The valet parking requires at least 20 minutes to retrieve your car, but once again the friendly and attentive Staff made the experience more enjoyable. This is a nice hotel and you really can’t go wrong choosing this one.
Positive: Hotel held money from my bank which put me in a bind on my vacation
Knocked off 1 star because I wanted to work on my laptop while I was staying here but the internet connection was terrible. The cleaning crew does a good job.The hotel clerks- I did not even need to talk to them.. they just set up the hotel reservation such that you stand in the line for around 20 minutes to get your turn at a working kiosk - then you put in your identification and then eventually get your keys and walk to your room. You cannot change your allotted room..if you want to, you end up paying a higher markup.
Positive: Everything Negative: No
Excellent staff customer service, beautiful hotel with more than enough slots, table games and restaurants. With social distancing implemented it was a struggle to get through check in but the guest services rep was overly cordial. The upgrade to the suite was a great idea My only issue was being harassed by security for recording my slot play. Im a youtuber who receives income from sharing my travel experiences.
First room they Assigned to us was not up to standards...It was actually very filthy.Management put is on an upgraded room at no extra cost. The upgraded room was immaculate. The amenities were roughly the same, but the cleanliness level was evident.Overall a great stay with limited access to most shops/restaurants.Ive stayed here Three total times. Every time there has not been an issue management isnt fast to fix.Would recommend this Hotel to most people.
The pool was so wonderful! If you smoke they have a smoking floor that you will appreciate. And you get that old time Casino feel not like the new ones!
Positive: Casino Negative: Service provided from employees
Rome were cheap online. Bars were closed during our stay. It was hard to find a waitress to get drinks while gambling, but we had a great time. Room was clean, lost one start for hair in the shower and only having one chair in a room with 2 beds. It could be Covid related. View was great. Staff was excellent. Will be returning.
Not enough places to get coffee - only one in the lobby area near Fed Ex. The other is outside at Starbucks. The line-ups in both places are insane. No coffee dispenser in room either. There is 1 human being to answer questions at reception, but youre forced to use machines. The carpet in the room was filthy and needs to be shampooed asap. My pink socks are black from the carpet. This is not clean nor hygienic. The location was excellent. Bar staff were nice. No survey was sent by the hotel. I booked through Booking.com. The room location was good, but the view was not. The charge for the extra night was excessive given it was on a weekday. Improve customer service at the reception desk. Thanks.
Positive: Average only thing we can for was the pool all we did was wait for 3 days for the pool
The location is very central on the Vegas strip. Our room was upgraded as our original booking was sold out so our view was overlooking the strip! The nature scene here was also awesome! Well definitely stay again!
Positive: Clean Negative: I didnt like the hidden fees. Resort fee
The hotel was very nice with plenty to do. The flamingo wild habitat was also beautiful. It had many places to eat and a lot of slots for the gamblers. The staff were super nice. Had a swift and smooth check in and check out process and I would highly recommend.
Remodeled rooms were nice. Self check in was smoother than imagined and COVID-19 protocols were well managed.
Positive: Never slept in the hotel. Negative: Never slept in the hotel.
I love this hotel I love the location the ladies who worked at front desk are out standing and Krista working the phone behind the scene excellent phone service. on my floor Lazarus very friendly, bellhops terrific except one guy with a bad attitude who I reported other then that this place is top 10 the rooms and nice big and roomy windows floor to ceiling elecktronicks curtains and drapes the views are you kidding me out standing question will I stay at this hotel again you bet I will, it is an older hotel there are newer ones but this place has my heart. Heres a pic of the view
This hotel is central on the strip to everything!! The habitat area is beautiful and well kept. Rooms are a bit dated and due for an upgrade. Overall great experience!!
Its hard to find a more iconic and memorable hotel and casino in Las Vegas than the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Yeah, its a bit dated now, but without the Flamingo who knows if we would have the same Las Vegas strip that we have today. Here are a few fun facts about the Flamingo: The Flamingo site occupies 40 acres originally owned by one of Las Vegas first settlers, Charles Pops Squires. Squires paid $8.75 an acre for the land. In 1947 Bugsy Siegel (the mobster) lead the development of the original Fabulous Flamingo.
Great atmosphere most of the resort. Most terrible party was the SUPER long wait for check-in. Then to get up there and they have to scan the booking persons ID. I booked but in my husbands name so I had to wait on him to come back from a friends room. One manager was awesome and helpful though. We got a room somewhat near our friends which was convenient. Overall good stay. Clean room. I had 1 fluffy luxury pillow and the comforter was cozy also.
I am giving it a 3 because of parking. It took us 30 min or more each time to find a parking spot. Because the first three levels are for reserve parking. Yet they were always empty. Bed was comfy. And although we had a small maintenance issue they corrected it right away.
Check-in was horrid. But I loved our room. We had a GoRoom on the 17th floor and the view of the Strip was amazing! The a/c was loud and our toilet kept running periodically but overall it was a nice stay. Centrally located and walkable to many places nearby.
Positive: Food Negative: No pool access.
Experience was good, overall. Here are my take a ways.1. Use the check in kiosks and set checkout on mobile to save A LOT of time.2. If you plan on getting ANY time at the pool, scan the QR code and get on the virtual waitlist. The earlier you make the reservation, the more of a chance that you’re going to get a spot on it. I put my name in at 10:30 am and didn’t get a text until 4pm, just to add some context to the actual wait. Otherwise, buy a cabana or day bed. Treat yo self.3. Know that Caesars Rewards doesn’t apply to 3rd party vendors, so if you eat in a food court on property, you won’t get points or credit rewards for it.Good luck!
Positive: The casino Negative: Pool was
Positive: Location and clean Negative: Contact me regarding this
Positive: Everything!!! Negative: no
So, I checked in last night and will be here a few days. My room is modern and clean and the pink flamingo theme is one of my favorite things about this hotel. The place has a lot of history related to old Vegas from back in the 30s and 40s and the hallways have historic photos replicated for wallpaper that help tell that story. There are parts of the hotel that need repair and updating such as the elevator hallway ceilings and certain fixtures that appear broken. Overall, the ground floor casino and gift shops and spas are well organized. There were no vacancies or boarded up shops, which was encouraging based on the COVID situation and its effects on the economy. Guest services are pleasant and helpful, and right now, the whole place is decorated splendidly for the upcoming Christmas holiday. I try to stay at a different hotel each time I come to Vegas. I chose the Flamingo this time around as an exercise to the law of attraction work i have been researching. So, far so good. Two thumbs up for the hospitality, the in house amenities, and shops and the COVID check in procedures. I feel safe and pleased with the amount of security involved for everyones safety.
So it was my first time in Vegas and the FLAMINGO hotel and casino did not disappoint. The hotel is gorgeous and I won $350 in the casino. Not to mention that there is a Carlos and Charlies in the hotel with the best margaritas Ive ever had. Will definitely be back.
Positive: Location Negative: The price ended up more than advertised on your website!!!! Never again
The bathroom door was off the rail and would not close. I was able to fix it but it still did not close all the way. Not much privacy. We asked for more towels which came after we had to leave
Lots of nice remodeling. Its been quite some time before Ive been there. Worth the stop by. The pit seemed quiet except for a craps table where they were losing money.
Great casino and hotel. A lot of smoke in the casino but not unusual. The flamingo garden area is beautiful and free.
Positive: The locations Negative: My room was a smoking room and I donâ€t smoke.
The hotel was very nice, comfortable and clean. My only gripe or bad mark against the hotel is when we were walking by the stores on the way to check in, it was like walking through a carnival with high pressure sales trying to get you to spend big bucks on wrinkle creams and soaps ect. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. Everything else about our stay was totally great. The price was excellent, the bell hops, were ALL great and professional. Didnt lose any of our luggage and when we called them, they came so fast I couldnt believe it!! We had a great stay! Thank you Flamingo Las Vegas!!!
Positive: Hardwood floors in the room staff was friendly Negative: shower kept flooding
Nice hotel. Enjoyed the wildlife even though I was somewhat concerned about their overall well being. The rooms did not have a coffee maker so that was unfortunate. I enjoyed my stay.
I love the flamingos here. So Im giving them a shout out. I think its so cool to have something natural in Las Vegas. When you are looking at the flamingos you feel like you are someplace else. Go Flamingos!!!
I was very disappointed that flamingo didnt offer complimentary coffee or tea. The room made a weird noise when the air was on. We thought someone was trying to break in. We named the ghost bob.. Location of hotel was beautiful. Check-in was different, didnt mind it. Who wants customer service anyways. I will be staying here again, only because I like the location right on the strip! Consider cleaning ur nasty carpets!
They have a live habitat with different animals including flamingos . Nice pool. Free parking. Ample rooms with strip view!
Positive: Nothing. Negative: The facilities and room were dirty. The staff was rude.
Fun place. Enjoyed the flamingos
Stayed here for Halloween 2020. Had a decent experience, the room was clean and the bed was nice. Our room had a nice glass enclosed shower with funky wall jets. The noise was minimal, which is saying a lot for any hotel on the strip. They had some good shows and the restaurants were inviting.Probably the best feature of this hotel is their outdoor fish and bird sanctuary. There are a lot of koi and catfish to look at, flamingos and different breeds of ducks. It is jungle themed with artificial rock structures that look very natural. There is also a great spot to take photos with a waterfall and the hotel logo. Its a great spot to wander in the mornings and they dont allow smoking around the pools which makes it very pleasant for people who want to get away from that smell. The room prices were fairly decent, but be aware that there are no real amenities in the rooms besides a non smart TV and an ice bucket. We stayed in the Go room which doesnt face the strip but actually had a great view of the water feature in front of Ceasars Palace.
Had an amazing stay everyone was nice and they took Alot of preclusion and all employees wore there mask.
The pool is fabulous...drinks are super expensive but the attention when you rent a bed at the pool is awesome. It is expensive and you have to purchase $200 minimum in drinks and food in addition to rental. Hotel could do a better job with letting you know of eliminated services at checkin due to covid....
The Casino was clean and the staff were visible cleaning/sanitizing the machines. The staff was professional, courteous and professional. The rooms were also clean.
Location was perfect being surrounded by so much to do. House keepers were FANTASTIC. Front desk was non existent, customer service was not a priority for the staff here. No matter how many games played or how long on a machine, in a week stay only one cocktail waitress bothered to ask if I needed anything. Building was older but had character. Buffet wasn’t opened and food court was over priced for the lack of quality. Truly just blown away by how great house keeping was. Everything else was mediocre.
Beautiful hotel, we love the location experience overall was really good.
Positive: The Room Negative: Some of the staff was rude.
One of the oldest resorts on the Strip and it shows. Even though the rooms have been renovated in recent years, the bathrooms remain cramped and unappealing, when most of other hotels offer rooms with bathrooms that give you spa like experience. The casino floor is big with a good mix of slot machines, many older, classic ones. The best part of the hotel is the Flamingo habitat on their grounds and a fun pool area, although usually its very busy and loud, very much a party atmosphere. If youre looking for cheap and decent accommodations, you found the right place. If youre looking for more upscale and modern, look somewhere else.
Its my first time here in Vegas, work related, and I stayed in Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Everything was perfect. Hotel is in a perfect spot with lots of dining nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. . I loved the service and the employees are very kind!
This iconic hotel and casino is in need of an update. The rooms have been undergoing renovation but the casino floor seems a little dated. With that said, the flamingo is still a grea place to go. Love the outdoor spaces with water effects and wildlife. Go check it out.
Real live flamingos, very exciting however even having a phenomenal review with a great rate! HOWEVER those machines are greedy and I feel like The way the casino is set up it is hard to leave that casino without crossing a bridge or i felt like a trapped
Flamingo hotel was very clean and quiet! The bed and pillows were very comfortable! Its located in a perfect location on the strip. The staff was very pleasant. I will recommend to others. And I will definitely stay again!
The location of The Flamingo is perfect to explore the strip but the hotel itself is very outdated and in need of renovations. My biggest complaint was the noise in the rooms. You could hear everyone in the hallway very clearly. That’s a problem in the city that never sleeps. I would recommend paying the extra costs to upgrade to a newer hotel nearby.
To start with, they dont have enough parking for hotel guests. Two of the 3 nights we stayed, we had to park either at the Cromwell or across at Caesars Palace. Walls are apparently paper thin as I was woken up On a Saturday morning at 7 by guests in the room next to us yelling at each other which lasted for around 3 hours. King size bed was comfy and we paid extra for a room with a view of the strip.
Negative: Rooms definitely need upgrade and a cleaning.
Positive: The location is perfect Negative: They never went to clean the room, change towels nothing like that
Positive: Not a thing. Negative: Couldnt get into the pool. Way to expensive and no room service.
Positive: Great location, great strip views Negative: The Day Go Pool reserve system is whack.
Positive: The view from our room. Negative: There were no microwaves to heat food.
Positive: Comfy Bed Negative: No bathtub
Beautiful women nice drinks pink building I love it especially when Im listening to the wonderful incredible alien musician. Errol.Space
What an iconic Las Vegas property offering so much to see, do and eat: The Wildlife Habitat (free), nightlife, shopping, dining (casual and elegant), casino.
Not at all impressed. Refrigerator was not cold until a maintenance call wad made. Shower body wash dispenser was empty. Two pillows on a king size bed. Dresser in closet. Come on, get real right?
Loved our view.. the weekend we came out was a bit crowded but securitys and hotel personal were enforcing masks there were wipe stations and sanitizers everywhere.. we definitely felt safe.
First night was horrible somebody got shot and they locked the hotel down and wouldn’t let us go to our rooms. We’re sitting ducks while they searched for the shooter locked down til 3 am. Then let us up without explanation or compensation for the inconvenience.
Positive: Nothing Negative: I didnâ€t like everything there
The best service and very very very clean.Wife had a blast at the flamingo.
Positive: The bed Negative: I was on a non smoking floor and room and it still smelled like smoke. It was not good at all.
The decor in the room was great but they barely cleaned before we stayed. it was dirty, items were left by the last guests, and it was just dusty. there were gross stains on the couches. you would think they would clean it especially during covid. bathroom door is one of those silly sliding doors that dont close and dont lock. not good for people who like privacy. the rest of the hotel is nicely themed but really hard to find your way out, normal for vegas i guess. overall okay stay, not worth the price since we has to clean out own room.
I don’t usually recommend hotels, but this one is so clean and comfortable. Modern design and decors. A very nice option. Beautiful building and amazing garden!!!We stayed at 2 Queens | High Roller View room, impressive view and good for families stay. Buffet is reasonable price, staffs are friendly. Also super convenient to the nearby places. Definitely on our next come back stay list.
Positive: I had to change rooms 3 times because the first 2 rooms were dirty and not what I paid for Negative: I had to sanitize the room myself
Positive: Close to everything on the strip.
Weve stayed at the Flamingo multiple times over the past few years. Some rooms are in better shape than others. Hotel all-in-all was pretty good with the exception of one stay but the staff sorted out the issue. The location on the strip was excellent.
Hotel was great all though we had an issue and was sent to 3 different supervisors... One passed us to another while nothing was done. We was told we had a free night with resort fees waved but that supervisor was gone for wknd and nobody else knew. We was very disappointed in the way stuff was handled. I will be staying elsewhere our next trip.
Positive: The bed Negative: They overcharged us by 250$
Busy but always effective in business clean and required masks upon entry
Wedding trip cancelled because of Covid and the Flamingo refused to give us any sort of a refund for our reservation. Asked for it with a two week notice, very unsatisfactory.
I recently stayed in a Flamingo Premium Room. It was newly renovated and very clean upon check-in! Id definitely stay in that room again.Check-in was at 4pm and we got to the hotel early & asked to have our baggage stored while we grabbed lunch - they didnt charge us for this. We got checked in around 3:45pm. It was a little frustrating being forced to use the self check-in kiosk rather than an actual person. We reserved a daybed at the Go Pool and enjoyed it! It is pricey but worth it if you want to spend a day at the pool.Overall, I was happy with our stay. Good location on the strip, nice size casino, nice pool and enjoyed the newly renovated rooms.
