My wife usually love the Palms, I guess due to Covid we didnt get certain services. Our ice machine didnt work and they said aomeone would come and look at, they never did. They said they would send Housekeepi ng, never showed up. Other than that its a nice place to stay.
The Room was Fantastic, The View Magnificent..From the 52nd Flr..Spectacular..... Popping..Plus Every Safety Precautions Was Taken..
The Palms is closed but the hotel Palms Place is open. My room at Palms Place had a full kitchen with nothing in it. No cups, no plates, no silverware, no plastics. NOTHING. A coffee pot, tea kettle, and blender with not even a plastic cup to drink out of. Requested cups 3 times and was told they were on the way - never received anything. Upon check in there were no amenities in the bathroom I had to call and request them. To not even have a bar of hand soap in the room during covid 19 was surprising. My room was not cleaned very well and one tv didn’t work at all.
The rooms were great. Newer property with beautiful decor and I had a view of the strip that was incomparable to any other hotel in Vegas. Shower and Spa tub combo was fabulous. Ill definitely be back again once the casino reopens. The staff was awesome. Easy check in on kiosk!
My wife and I stayed at the Palms since Station Casinos bought the place and renovated. We had a great room with a 180° view of the strip from the 17th floor. I highly recommend. We also loved the restaurants. Weve already been to Saras. This time around we had the chance to check out Scotch 80, Greene St. Kitchen, Shark and Mabels. It was all delicious and I recommend them all!
Was in town for business and stayed here. This place had one of the best rates available and was within way commute of our office. Everything was simple and easy from making the initial reservation to checking in and out. Rooms were well kept and modern and having the USB ports made charging very easy especially since I had only brought my cable and not the plug. Was not able to game or use the fitness center (closes by 8 PM) but there were plenty of dining options not only within the facility but nearby as well. Ate at Mabels which is a BBQ restaurant and the food was very good. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
As a local I definitely love this casino. Has lots to offer good atmosphere and the remodel looks great. Can we for the club to open backup such a beautiful venue. And the new pool edition is really stunning. Definitely catches your eye and makes you feel by your in atlanticists with the large beautifully crafted sculptures. And you gotta see the shark in the middle bar
I love the Palms its my number 1 spot in Vegas, whether it be in the luxurious hotel suites or on the loose casino floor, or one of the several nice up scale restaurants. I love it here. Not to mention the APEX SOCIAL LOUNGE. Very nice place to meet with family or friends and feel what Vegas is supposed to be
I came here too stay at the palms place specifically. The staff in the lobby were fantastic.Polite & accommodating, from check-in too check-out was very smooth. Also, got some great recommendations on places I could do a little bit of hiking from the staff. The rooms are very nice, they are a studio style. It has everything you need. The views alone are nice to see if your lucky enough too have a balcony or not at all.Pool is quite large, outdoor so better off during the hot days more so than anything.Overall had a fantastic stay, and was appreciative of the staff for making it easy to get to where I needed to be/wanted to be
Hotel and casino look fantastic after all of the renovations are completed. I especially enjoyed both the dim sum restaurant Tim Ho Wan and the BBQ place, Mabels BBQ, for meals. Room was plenty big and very clean. Sports book was redone a few years ago, but looks great and had all the NFL football games on during Sunday. Good selection of table games to choose from.Only negative was the smaller east parking structure, which is closest to the hotel rooms. The west parking structure is much larger and had plenty of parking, but was a bit more of a walk for guests like me staying at the hotel.
Its.... its closed. But they keep all the lights on. Only slightly confusing to a random passerby.
The rooms were nice, bed too hard for my liking. An interesting wall banner with a womans eyes! Really cool preserved shark in the center bar that has been cut into 3 pieces and you can see inside.
The Palms Casino Hotel is well kept, very clean and has an amazing staff! We had one incident in our room but the staff was quick to remediate the problem. My wife and I were extremely pleased with our staying and plan on returning in the future. Only real con is location. It’s off Strip, but is easily accessible and a short ride by Uber or Taxi or even by foot if you want to get some steps in. Highly recommend!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our Honeymoon stay here at the Palms Casino Resort. Our room was in the newly renovated Fantasy Tower, and it is beautiful! Although renovations are still in progress in the resort pool area, it in No wise took away from the available amenities. The Palm Palace was an awesome alternative, which was a short walk next door. The fitness center was second to none and the workers were friendly all around. Its a great choice for your Vegas vacation!
I wouldnt recommend staying here at all during the covid-19 time!! Everything is closed!!! And the price is still the same!!! You can stay on the strip for cheaper and have stuff to do right outside your door! Yes these rooms are nice but not worth the money at all during these times!!!!!!
I would stay again. Beautiful and smells amazing when you first walk in. Highly suggest the lucky penny. Open 24 hours and close enough to the strip. Plenty of dining options in the facilities all palms towers are connected.
The Ivory Tower was last updated in 2012. Thats where we stayed. Ask for a room in the Fantasy tower which was completely remodeled in 2019. Our room smelled like sour milk or rotten laundry when we walk in. And it wouldnt be that difficult to glue the wallpaper back to the wall for what they charge on weekend/event nights. The bed was comfortable, the view was ok, the staff was friendly. Its a great place to stay if you are going to a show at The Pearl, otherwise Id choose somewhere else.
The buffet in Las Vegas is Awesome and I really enjoyed the food, but It is a Awesome place to eat together with family or friends for a summer vacation,
A.Y.C.E Lunch Buffet. Wait Line Que at 12 Noon Mon Dec 23 2019.
Palms Place, Studio Suite, Strip View. Amazing room, awesome view of the strip. Full kitchen, fully stocked mini bar with a freezer. Huge bathroom, walk in shower with overhead shower and detachable hose, jacuzzi tub, and tv. 2 TVs in main room, very comfortable bed and couch. Lots of closet space.
We were concerned to travel in March and almost cancelled at this confusing time. Because the Palms hotel and casino went above and beyond to make us comfortable, safe, welcome.. it will always be my first choice in Las Vegas. From the front desk staff to the maintenance folks, and every single person in every restaurant... Palms is wonderful!!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Location was off the strip. Casino area was nice. The room looked dingy. I was told if I wanted cleaner, more modern amenities I shouldve booked at the Fantasy Tower which was newly renovated. My question....how would I have known this? Certainly I would have selected the better tower. Staff were rude when I complained of a loud party. I was told the party should be over by 12:30am. Asked for a different room and was denied. Do not stay here. I will not be back.
Great stay. Clean, spacious and nice ambience. Have multiple food options in addition to the hotel restaurant. And of course the CASINO at the ground levels, and will be hard to keep your pocket thick...
The best place. One of the greater Casinos in the city. OMG I miss the Palms. The food court is mediocre; there is a movie theater on the North West side of the casino. Enjoying the bar at Palms place is chill what’s really cool is the club scene. When ready any person can find him or herself eating at a restaurant. Also get caught between the slots.
The Palms buffet has greatly improved since the makeover. Theres usually a large meat selection with a very good brisket. The little French onion soups are awesome! I could eat five plates of brisket and French onion soup and be content Everything is actually pretty decent now and is a step up from before the recent renovation. UPDATE: Id say now after going a bunch since the previous part of this review that the Palms is the best quality buffet in the price range in Vegas now (5/19). Its an even better deal if you achieve card status here. Highly recommend if you want the most bang for your buck. Also I should mention theres an entire vegan section for your pesky vegan friends (just kidding vegans ;) ). Seriously its a nice spread now and for mixed crowds of vegans and meat eaters again this is your best best in the price range. Meat eaters will actually be slightly impressed for the money and vegans wont feel theres only two things for them there.
We pulled into the Palms with no reservations after midnight and got not only a room but a great price. I would definitely stay again. Desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pool area is very nice, unique multi-story statue in the middle of the pool. Room was clean, modern, good charging access, extra mirrors and prep space before hitting the town. Only complaint was the large bathroom had no vent with a open glass shower so fogged everything up without the option to clear it away, not to mention toilet use. room was spacious enough for a roll away if needed.
I really would like to give a 5 star because the staff Members are Nice but our Room was discusting, the mattress too small for the base, the balcony was dirty.IT is probably the most kids friendly hotel around since you don t have to cross the casino to go to your room you wont see half naked woman.
Nice hotel. I stayed in the Ivory Tower. The room was spacious and clean. Nice large TV. Free basic wifi. Basic toiletries available. I was surprised how quiet the room was.
This is for the casino floor only. What a fantastic refresh they have done. The casino floor is chic, contemporary and hip. A place you will want to check out. The high ceilings and terrazzo floors give it a warm and inviting feeling. The layout is also very easy to navigate and the casino floor does not have the annoying buzz & clanks of slots and it is also surprisingly absent the smell of smoke, not sure how they do that but that do it.NOTE: The Palms may be off the strip but for my taste - its the best Casino to stay in!!!This is a very refreshing casino!
I love This Place! They Treat Me So Well! My Rooms Are Amazing, The Food O Much To Choose From And Movies! The only Place Ill Stay!
Stayed here for my birthday loved the room and the view. Only thing I didn’t like was no food Was allowed at the cabanas.
This is more of a 3 star hotel. Adjust your expectations. I would have given it a better rating if they claimed to be a 3 star and if I wanted to stay at a 3 star. I wanted to stay a 4-4.5 star hotel for vacation. I was expecting way more. I wouldve booked something better initially if I knew how the hotel functioned. Better COVID procedures etc. Oh and, this is a party place. A lot of young adults. Sooo not for family, business or travel vacation.
Still a great place to gamble, especially after the renovation they made. The only thing that I don’t like is as a President status member I don’t get all the gifts for free. One day I get the gift they are giving away for free then the second gift for that week they tell me I need to earn 1,000 base points. My partner on the other hand gets all the gifts for free and we are both President status. We spend the same amount of money but we are not equal. I thought that status means something but I guess not here at the Palms. Palms is still one of my favorite casinos to play at so I overlook the status issue. I mainly come here for the fun I have. I just would like to see a little bit more for the status that I have earned. Until then I’m still going to have fun here at the Palms. Also the staff here are probably the best of any casino. Very friendly and really take care of the players members and non-members alike. I would recommend this casino over any other in Las Vegas. Come join the Palms family and have fun. You won’t regret one minute of your time spent here.
Excellent resort off the busy strip. Couldnt be happier with our stay during the middle of February. Resort is clean, staff is friendly. Recently renovated. $8 Uber ride to the strip. The Lucky Penny restaurant has delicious breakfast, large portions at decent prices. If travelling with a vehilce, valet parking is included with your stay. I would go back, I would recommend to anyone looking for a laid back off the strip stay away from the hectic tourists crowds.
Positive: Beautiful hotel with nice restaurants and boutiques. Negative: The breakfast buffet was bad.
The rooms are older but maintained. The staff are easy to work with. We liked having the kitchette was nice, would have been better with some flatware and plates.Well worth buying a 3 day bus pass. There is a stop in front of the building and they run to and from the strip every 15 minutes.According to a gentleman that resides at Palms Place, we had the best possible view of the Vegas Strip. I would have to agree!
I was treated like a usual quest and they made me feel right at home!!!Thanks Palms Casino Resort!!!
The palms location is a little far from the Vegas street. But it is very nice and the room was clean, the bed was really good. I believe the overall conditions of the hotel is pretty nice. I would stay again there.
This is the hip, happening renovation story right now in Vegas. There’s a wide range of excellent restaurants, amazing rooftop bar/club (Apex) with amazing views of the strip, the outstanding #kaos day/nightclub, Pearl Concert Theatre and even a movie theatre. This is the spot!
Had amazing BBQ at Mabels soft opening. While it is not fair to completely judge on a soft opening, when meals are usually comped and the place is packed the service was unexpectedly fast and friendly. The brisket and the sausage was my favorite. I will definitely be back after the grand opening.
Amazing time in Vegas. KAOS was a great nightclub/pool party. Loved the views and the hotel staff was amazing
The staff there are always polite and professional. The bed is very comfortable. The whole room and bathroom was very clean. We had an amazing view They are mindful of those with disabilities and they accommodate. I definitely recommend staying here!!
Had a trip planned, but pandemic dictated no travel so had to cancel. Used a third-party agency to book (who got a 1-star review - another story) but called Palms to check on other fees and just to let them know we werent coming. Customer service was GREAT. People were understanding, helpful, and kind. Hope to be able to get to Vegas some time in the future!!
There has been significant investment in this place of late. It really shows. The buffet is great and the bars are fantastic.
1) Requested a non smoking room. Someone in the adjoining rooms was smoking pot. We were moved to another room and left our phone charger behind. We called the front desk, were transferred from one person to another. With no cooperation from anyone. Not a big deal2) Overall cleanliness was poor.
Great hotel alittle out off the strip but still close to the strip to have fun.
Off the strip and a little more quiet. Ate at the Bobby Flay restaurant inside plus a BBQ place. Both were excellent. If you want more action go to the strip other wise this is a nice place to stay.
Remodeled over the last year, new ownership - station casinos bought it for a gazillion dollars. They did a great job on the remodel. Overall the hotel is very nice, reasonable to pricey rooms. But very modern and up-to-date. The only thing I dont like about is you walk in the main entrance and its instant casino. The layout and design, could be a little bit better. But you know how casinos are all set up to keep you into the gambling, everything else is secondary. They have some pretty good restaurants. From low end costs to very expensive with excellent service. Depending on how high up you get theres some beautiful views of the strip and the lights at night.
First world problems. We came in Christmas Eve. Check in was cool, hotel room was clean, the outlets in the room didnt work properly... took hours to charge devices. Room service was $6 plus 21%. The beds didnt have box springs, strange. Loved the shower (bring shower shoes there was no shower mat), the Casino had more fresh air than other hotels, and the Penny Cafe was cool.I had a two night comp stay and decided to stay one more night... my comp came with a $75 food voucher and a $75 slot play. I was able to use my slot play, but they would not allow me to transfer my food voucher over to my new room assignment. That was upsetting. So I took my money elsewhere.
The room was very nice and the hotel was great too but the Kaos party they threw kept us up way into the night. Beware if theres an event scheduled, you can hear it pretty much anywhere in the hotel. Our room unfortunately faced the pool so we got the most of it. Bring earplugs if you plan on sleeping!!
We stayed in the condos portion of the property and it was great! The views of the strip were awesome and the place was huge. I liked the little kitchen in our room and the balcony over the pool
The front desk clerk was kind and helpful as the billy idol concert was cancelled and gave us a very nice roomy room. Couldn’t cancel my reservation so appreciated that she went the extra mile to make are stay enjoyable
This place has been recently remodeled and it’s white hot.
Positive: I liked how cleanliness of our rooms. Negative: Hotel staff was not welcoming.
Really impressed with the renovations here, the casino has a great feel and I love the amount of art around the property. Particularly liked the Damien Hurst in The Unknown, and the craft cocktails in Camden. Scotch 80 restaurant also VERY impressive!
The security was great. Very friendly, very helpful, peace of mind.I didnt like the added $132 tax on top of the $150 per night room fee on top of the $14 mixed drink. Probably pass on another stay just because of the added fees everywhere.
I was extremely impressed with The Palms! It looks like it has had quite a few updates recently and the casino and bars are beautiful. The staff is all very friendly and the gambling was a great time. The resturaunts are awesome and all very well priced. Our taxi driver recommended the buffet - which was AWESOME! It was priced very well and the food is amazing. I look forward to going back on my next trip out to Vegas!
Parking hasnt been a problem for me. Lively crowd. Workers are nice. Trendy place, without the going on the strip. FREE parking. I enjoy the movies here. Recliner seats
Positive: Location, not too busy Negative: None
Amazing atmosphere, sufficient wifi for streamers. Some light fixtures were down, hidden costs can sneak up if you arent prepared. World class food, right next to the strip without strip prices. Beautiful architecture, rooms are well planned and pleasantly featured with considerable comforts. Attentive and friendly staff.Great for a week or more
I personally want to warn others, to make sure you bring cleaning supplies to clean tour room! We are in the middle of a pandemic and NOTHING should be a higher priority than a CLEAN stay where they’ve paid so much money and risked their lives to be! I’m so disappointed in my stay at Palms
An interesting hotel to say the least. On the casino floor, it didnt seem to have many machines. It might have but my mom and I didnt explore too much. I think the Palms is about experiences rather than gambling. As I did notice that there is a theatre of some sort. Food court was lovely, ate at Express. Nice airy bright hotel compared to the Rio.
Like that there is a movie theater on site. Not a fan of walking through clouds of cigarette smoke. Scotch 80 steakhouse was fabulously delicious. Not a fan of the new digital slot machines. A coffee maker in our room would have been nice. The panoramic view from Apex Bar was absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and helpful staff. The fact it is off the strip is not a big deal as the strip is a inexpensive uber ride away.
We stayed at the Palms Casino Resort it is currently under construction, but the parts that arent are simply stunning. Renovations should be fully complete sometime next year, but the staff did an amazing job in ensuring our safety, as well as the venue being fully functional. They have really upgraded the hotel and it looks great, also there is in on-site movie theater! The staff was great and very accommodating. They have included some wonderful art installations - including the large piece outside that Im standing in front of, that really elevate the facility!
The remodel is beautiful. Loved Scotch80s, the food was SO good!
All Stations Casinos today are giving out Shirts and hats! Palms did yesterday. It was an amazing time. Caught some new Pokemon and enjoyed the beautiful architecture and design of the casino. Great place to visit if you are a tourist. Stations are the heart of local Vegas like Dottys. Dont miss it.
I love palms vary clean. You can gate every thin you need .me and my husband. Vary satisfy. I hope we will go back next summer.
Positive: Hotel employee at front desk is awesome!
Drove 5 hours to get there. Registration was easy. Went to the room which was very nice. Put bathing suits on to go to the pool only to be told they close in 10 minutes. They close the pool at 5pm. That’s ridiculous. They’re trying to get everyone back inside to gamble. Not everyone stays here to gamble. We went there because a concert we wanted to see was playing there, eat at the restaurants and use the pool. They charged $44 /daily resort fee on top of the room fee for the use of WiFi, the gym and the pool. I could only get WiFi in the casino not the room. I’m on vacation. I want to stay up late, have cocktails, maybe gamble a little, sleep in and lounge by the pool. Sorry to say not using the gym. I know my plan is not for everyone but not being able to jacuzzi or use the pool in the evening really bothered me. Everything else was nice.
Beautiful resort!!! There’s everything you can want under one roof! Party, good food and awesome views!
Tired of the Strip style of Doing Vegas? The Palms has it all. Spatime at the Palms Tower with unlimited beverage. Turkish Style co-ed available. Amazing!! Rooms are very clean and beautifully designed. Enjoyed the best weekend with mom flying in for a shared holiday. Come & See the VITAL IDOL!!
This place is a great place to sleep! Decent prices and staff was nice. You have to try the Ayce restaurant for breakfast. So many options and great staff in there. 100% pleased with our stay! Great views and loved the walk in shower!!!
The palms wss an excellent choice... The rooms were beautigul and very clean... the staff was well trained and we had excellent service at the restaurants and other places around the casino...
Damien Hirst creates $100,000 per night hotel suite in the Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas.Available for free for guests with over $1 million (£758,890) in credit at the resort, or anyone else that can splash out $200,000 (£151,753) for a two-night stay, Hirsts Empathy Suite spans 9,000 square feet (836 square metres) and occupies two storeys within the Palms.#Design #Interiors
Good to play. A bit crowded for my taste but some probably like the energy from that. I ordered a Hurricane, and a friend ordered a Mai Tai. They both ended up tasting exactly the same. Whatever they were, they were both good. The restrooms were too noisy. Nice look to the place. I would stay.
Loved the hotel. Very clean and great staff. Downside is how much the Wi-Fi cost. Then, the Wi-Fi was down for a good while so it was money lost on my end.
I love this hotel!! All staffs were really kind. Room was very clean and view was very nice. Also there has Social club APEX on rooftop. The club was awesome. I made good memories with my friend at this hotel in only one night. I appreciate it. Thank you for everything. I wanted go back soon.
We love the showroom in Palm! Small venues and their 24/h coffee shop has a great selection!!! And free valet parking.
Good value, fast and friendly staff. Clean rooms and comfy beds. In house pricing for bar and food is steep. Casino staff treated us like family, Id go back any time, I just wouldnt eat or drink on site. Charged me for simply opening the courtesy fridge, I never knew that was a thing. Stayed 6-9 Dec 2019
The Palms has made many extension to their property. There movie theater is very nice. You can choose your seats from a chart and they have electrical recliners that are very comfortable. Its nice to pick your seats without having the inconvenience of trying to find one when you enter the theater. This is good for a family night and if youre not into movies they have a good food court selection and other restaurants to choose from. The environment is Mello and no stuffy smell of cigarettes.
Going back soon...too much fun was had
Very nice Hotel, Casino, and Resort and Concert Venue. Modern upscale reeling and I would definitely stay there again! Photos are of the awesome suite I stayed in on the 28th floor, there were 3-65 LG flat-screen TV!
We came for brunch buffet and got to tell you, food was excellent! Love the omelette station, packages and prime rib were good too. Excellent service waiter was attentive always around. Highly recommended if you’re in the area. Will come back again.
This was the first time I stayed at the Palms and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. The staff was friendly and there was plenty entertainment on site. The rooms were clean and updated to today’s standards.
Love this new and improved Palms way more than the previous version. So clean and bright as opposed to the early 2000s chic it oozed before. Definitely plan on being back there soon to see what other cool and fun stuff I can get into. Make sure you check out UNKNOWN BAR!! Just look for the shark!!!
Palms was a good spot for a work conference. Friendly staff and good food. Lucky Penny especially, staff, service & food were fantastic. On the last night I was woken by drilling at 5am which I wasnt happy about as the letter warning us of exterior work said it would be between 8am-6pm. Also try and get a high level as I was level 5 ok the freeway side & it was extremely noisy.
The Hotel with its Rooms, Casino, Spa and the Pool are very nice and clean, the rooms were also pretty clean and the service was good. Only the check-in was a bit confusing and the staff at the front desk not very helpful. However, overall our stay was very pleasant and we will come back if we stay in Las Vegas again.
Positive: Very clean room plus everyone is super helpful
The staff were not very nice or accommodating. The buffet was ok, most of the other restaurants were good.I paid $12 for a room service coffee. The most expensive coffee I have ever had. It was so bitter. Still regret it now.For all the work they have put into this hotel it’s a shame staff bring the whole place down with bad attitudes.
Very nice, professional staff. Wonderful room. Lucky penny restaurant was great. The pool was everything. A great little gem.. and indoor pool that heated as well as the Jacuzzi, very relaxing. The pool staff was friendly and made us feel like so welcomed. Will definitely be my stay of choice whenever Im in vegas..
I didnt get to enjoy the amenities but the room was amazing
Worth going to try the baked pork buns, overall good dim sum but note there is a limited menu and its abit pricey compared to other dim sum places
