From Mandalay Bay all the way to New York New York is a fun exciting eye filled adventure. We could not believe how far we walked because of all the beautiful and creative art, exhibits, stores and different scenarios displayed throughout the beautiful and amazing connected resorts. Absolutely gorgeous resort. Fantastic staff. This is one of the few places in Vegas where hospitality is still their cornerstone. Beautiful views, extremely welcoming and comfy rooms, with oversize restrooms and separate shower and tub! Dont forget to check out the shark reef, a fantastic attraction and fun for all. We will absolutely be back. I recommend to everyone!!

Stayed in the executive suite and the room was neat. The resort had many things to do within it and a good number of food courts and restaurants.Gave it 4 stars because in the casino area you are told not to eat in that area, however, no sign about smoking. Hence you can spot people smoking opening in the gambling area.

I enjoyed my stay here. I didnt know it was THAT hotel until after I arrived however, dont allow the past to impact choosing to stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone including staff and visitors adhered to the mask policy. The rooms were a nice size, clean, and comfortable. The beach was fun, not too crowded but the price for a cabana was ridiculously over priced. Most people were wearing their masks in and out of the water! You could tell that they take guest safety seriously. I would stay here again.

Nice place but Nevadas mask requirements are beyond comprehension. Masks required outside even outside while sitting at the pool alone with nobody within 50 feet of you. And the hotel is forced to make sure you comply. This is exactly what makes people become anti-maskers. No thanks, this craziness is not for me. Save your money and take a pass on all of Las Vegas until this virus and associated craziness ends.

Mandalay Bay is a really nice hotel. If you get a chance you need to check out the wave pool and lazy river. There are lots of great restaurants located inside the hotel. Service was nice and rooms were very clean and had very comfortable beds. The only thing I would change is the strange barn doors to the bathroom which makes it so you can peek in which is a little strange when you have kids and you’re taking a shower.

Stay was ok. It was nice to have rooms close with others.View was facing to the west. Restroom was clean. New towels daily. However, there were no trash bags anywhere and even with the daily clean, bags werent left. There was a fridge full of alcohol and snacks for those who drinks but bad for those traveling with children if needing fridge space. Also the hallway had an odor. Half the aquarium attraction was closed. Parking was easy. Most of food places inside was closed as well.

We LOVED the Delano building right next to Mandalay Bay!! We had a GORGEOUS view of the new Raiders stadium and a giant bathtub that me and my boyfriend could practically swim in! The Mandalay Bay Casino was so much fun and we ate at the House of Blues Cafe twice! The staff was absolutely phenomenal and catered to our every need---- they made us feel like royalty. :) The bed was literally the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in, and the entire hotel smelled AMAZING--- I felt like I was at the beach! I feel the hotels doing a great job with the cleaning and keeping us socially. as with the other casinos in the area a lot of the restaurants werent open so just be careful and make sure you get your food early enough so the restaurants dont close. It was good. Tons of signage for mask requirement and reminders for social distancing. In addition, overhead speakers reminding us to do both, too. And, appreciated the guards near the entrances/exits and elevators to ensure guests are wearing their masks, even the kids who are old enough that need to wear them too.I am hoping the rooms are also held to the same new standards... it seemed like it was, and it was a nice touch to have the complimentary kit include a sealed mask, hand sanitizer and supposedly a stylus (ours didn’t have one inside). And, I attempted to use the new app remote check-in but since we had two rooms, it didn’t work well for us.Overall, since Vegas seems to be slowing opening, it was nice to come in mid-week and experience slowly coming back to Vegas and then by the time the weekend came, occupancy definitely picked up.Loved the fact that the lazy river was open and appreciated the limited capacity. Wave pool and the other pools were kind of cold but then again, it IS October ;-). See you next time, Mandalay!

Pros: The best thing about the room and that stands out, is the view. Pretty cool being at the 28th floor and having this kind of view. The room was nice with no issues and the front desk staff were helpful asking for assistanceCons: The bathroom had these saloon/cabinet type doors with a noticeable gap in between for lack of privacy. If you arent with your S/O it might be weird. We had to stuff a towel in the middle for privacy. I dont know if all the rooms are like this but ours was. However this isnt much of issue to lower the rating to 4 stars. I would book again in the future.

Had issues at check-in and room smelled like cigarette smoke so we had to get housekeeping to try to get the smell out. Other people in our party were supposed to be on our same floor and was promised upon checking but when we got our room assignments on different floor. And your room card only allows to you to go to your own floor so we had to get extra keys to everyones rooms so we could get to their floors. The tubs in the executive king rooms are huge and easily fit 2 adults. My Husband is 63 and he even fit comfortably. Beds are awesome too!

I had an amazing time at the Mandalay Bay Resort. Not only did I feel extremely safe, but I felt as if I was royalty. Their service is amazing. They have police patrolling each floor during the night. And for COVID-19 safety, their is a mask mandate. From some rooms you can see their pools and the airport. You can also see the Las Vegas Raiders arena which is very nice. Rooms are extremely clean. I am a germaphobe so the rooms are clean enough for me. Theirs so many things to do in the resort, and the other resorts/casinos are within walking distance, although I recommend getting a cab, which are available in the front of the hotel. Just a heads up, if you are ordering food from doordash or any of those types of food delivery, you will need to go to the lobby to get it for safety.

First time staying at Mandalay, stayed here for the pool since that is what the Mrs. Wanted to do. Was told that if they were open, everything they had would be open. That was not true, no shows were running, only 1 restaurant was open and that was on Friday. The food court only had subway and starbucks. The tram was not running until Friday at noon when I was told multiple times by multiple employees that it started running at 10am everyday, not true at all. Getting used to the mask thing wasnt too hard, a bit of a hassle but as long as it makes ppl warm and fuzzy that I have something covering my face even if it does nothing, Ill comply and giggle at the same time. The table games and dealers were a bit rude, I had my mask on, only two players at the table, one was my buddy and I was considering coming in to play but they wouldnt let me get anywhere near the table unless I was committed to playing. I understand they just want to stay open and I didnt take it personal, just wasnt expecting the constant harassment about everything. We had a decent time, but with the tram not running I felt as thought we were very isolated and it wasnt very convenient to walk daily to other locations for food, even though we did that for a few days. The cabana we rented at the pool was great, we had a great pool day and would want to do that again for sure.

We actually stayed at the Delano, sister company to Mandalay Bay.The rooms were big and spacious. And nicely decorated. Our first non smoking room on the 11th floor smelled like cigarettes and/or weed or something. So we were moved to the 16th floor with no problems. The next room on the 16th floor had a clogged shower floor and sink. We called and reported it, and it was fixed by the time we returned to our room. We were told the room key card we were given for the 11th floor would be reprogrammed to the 16th floor. It didnt happen. We were stuck on the 11th floor. We called the front desk and they sent a security guard to take us up to our room. Lastly, the internet would not work for my laptop. He had worked the previous day, but not the next day. I called tech support and spoke with someone for about 12 minutes then it was escalated. I spoke with Demetrius for about 25 minutes. He tried everything. Nothing worked. I finally contacted guest services to let them know of my predicament. Having seen all of the other issues we had, I was told that our 2 nights stay would be credited back to our card. Im only giving them a 3 because I dont know if they actually credited our credit card as of yet. I will keep you posted...

Unlike all of the other hotels you dont have to walk through casinos to get to your room.Mandalay Bay still offers daily housekeeping unless you request otherwise. They are operating at 50% capacity and I was there over the weekend and had no problem using their pools while maintaining 6 feet of distance from others. Really nice room. Reasonable room rates. Only complaint, and the only reason its not a 5 star place, is regarding the exorbitant fees they want for having to restock the mini fridge/bar, the coffee (that is typically free in every other hotel/motel in the world), or the water available. They charge the same ridiculous restocking fee if you happen to want to store your own water, leftovers, or whatever in the fridge, so youre not paying their $15 for a liter bottle of water, plus the $50 restocking fee. Dont accidentally use one of their coffee cups/kits on top of the cabinet, or youll pay $10 for the cup of coffee, plus the $50 restocking fee. Most decent motels at the Best Western level provide a fridge for your use as you see fit, and provide all the free coffee you want, plus a couple free bottles of water. I simply dont understand how the restocking fee is justified, and not included in the already high resort fees ($39/day), that are already in addition to the reasonable room rate. Still, as long as you dont mind not having cold bottled water, or any place to store anything cold, its a fantastic hotel, nice casino despite no poker room currently, and I would have enjoyed time to explore and possibly take advantage of the amenities covered by the resort fees.

I usually love staying here but the mask enforcement at the pool was completely INSANE! We paid a good amount of money to have our own day bed, social distanced from others and they wanted us to keep our mask on between sips, youre kidding?! Further, is the air I breathe cleaner while I constantly drink or eat versus not?? Meanwhile it was completely fine to walk to the end of the earth to get into the pool without a mask. We were constantly being harassed, really, at our daybed for not wearing between bites but could walk past others rubbing shoulders, being however close to others in the pool with no mask enforcement. Use some common sense Mandalay. Wont be back for awhile until this nonsense changes.

Just be careful of mask police at the pool. None of the rules make sense

Awesome check in with the assistance of Mikey! He was very accommodating and moved me, per my request to a higher room.Room was pretty nice. I would have rated this five stars but was charged 10$ for bumping the coffee machine/pot. Apparently when you bump it, it sends a signal that it was used and they will charge you. I wonder how many people they have charged for the simple bump and those that have not noticed. I used nothing extra in the room because it is a little pricey. Coffee should be free anyways.Pool area is large and nice. Accommodates families, couples and just groups. Really nicely thought out.***Also, COVID-19 careful. Sanitizer everywhere. Masks located by the elevator for those who forget them in the room. I did that once AND staff “gently” reminds visitors to mask up when they are being not so careful!

Let me start off by saying that Mandalay Bay is a huge hotel. The casino floor is massive. Southern end of the strip so dont forget its a long walk if youre going to stay down here to Bellagio, Wynn, Encore, and others. If youre in town for the raiders, this might be your spot. Mandalay Bay is one of the better looking properties on the outside.

I just walked thru the hotel. They have a marvelously large outdoor pool that was full of people having fabulous time. The attraction the shark reef was a little pricey for admission, someone stated that it was well worth the cost.

We love Mandalay and Delano, but with Covid, the pools were a problem. We had to be at the line for the pool at 8:30am to ensure we got in. Very limited admission, which we actually appreciated. There are very few restaurants open. Additionally, the monorail was not working and the moving walkways were shut down. We ended up walking about 6 - 7 miles per day to get around to other properties. We will hold off coming again till things return to normal.

Mandalay Bay is always a nice casino even with its out of the way location. I was there mostly to eat at the House of Blues but I did gamble a bit and get around the property. Mandalay Bay is always clean and smells nice. They have a good selection of restaurants and shops as well. As a bonus it really wasnt that busy when I was there which made my visit a little more enjoyable.

Best restaurant options on this side of the strip but the casino robbed us blind ;) Great ambiance, nice and clean. I had stayed here on a previous trip to Vegas and the rooms are amazing (paid a little more for a room with a jetted tub - totally worth it).

Room was clean. View was amazing. Only complaint was the air conditioner couldnt really keep the room cool enough for our preference. Never got below 73 degrees in the room. We prefer closer to 68 when we sleep. Everything else was great.

First visit back in over 20 years and still in great shape. Standard room has comfortable bed. Bathroom has luxury feel to it. Covid precautions seem adequate to keep guests safe.
