This park is the best in the area of Lakewood. So people oriented for one another. Its safe for all dogs and all those who walk the lake, ride the lake every day of every season. Hats off to Tim. He is the care taker of the grounds and all the other parks around this area. God Bless Kendrick for sure. Rick Bash

I love this lake! Peaceful areas to sit and watch geese, ducks, bunnies and occasionally see a fish jump and splash in the lake. I love the well maintained park. I especially love the geese. They are like cats. Indignantly walking around like they own the place. Honking a bit. People annoyed by them need another perspective and realize from the point of view of a goose there are too many people.....A mile around the lake makes it easy to know how far you have exercised. We have fished too but were novices so didnt catch any!

Beautiful, I was able to walk around and sit and watch the sunset. Families were around walking, biking, playing. The only thing is I saw someone not picking up after their dogs, when they clearly provide trash and bags for that...other than that, pretty nice.

Great for Pokémon hunting!! Pokéstops along the path around the lake, several benches to sit on along the way. A few Pokémon Gyms to battle while youre at it, and some beautiful scenery all the while! The only thing is that the path at one point gets a bit cracked and bumpy, which (especially while wearing a facemask) can be a tripping hazard. Be safe and have fun!

We love this park! Great paved asphalt mile loop makes for a great start it finish to a long run. I park at Kendrick, then vlove heading west to the reservoir, then north along Kipling, crossing at Florida to the other reservoir. Theres also a small pond to the east across Garrison. Easy to get a good 5-7 miles in without too much repeat scenery. The reservoir loops are much less busy (not that I would call Kendrick Lake congested, necessarily, but popular for sure). Great views, lots of choose your own adventure options!

This is a wonderful park for being so close to the metro area. The lake is beautiful and the wildlife great (minus the herds of Canadian geese). I love going for a run here since its 3 laps per mile. Bring the sunscreen as there isnt very much shade around but there are still some places to set up a picnic.

This pretty little area has a paved (mostly) path around the lake. It’s a great place to walk the pooch, especially in summer, as the are large trees and it is shaded. There are restrooms, picnic tables, and a place for the kids to play . Nice! There is a paved one mile loop around the lake which is especially pleasant on a summer day as there is shade. If you want to enjoy a picnic, have a spot for your kids to play, or just see what is new in the xeriscape garden, then this is a place you want to visit. Ample free parking off road as well.

Small garden near the parkinglot, one-mile path around the pond with markers, a pier and little peninsulas for fishing, a kiddie play park, picnic pavilion, and shady spots for just laying or picnicking on the grass.
