Limited parking at this water’s edge spot but basically the only public access on this side of the lake at least. Paddleboarded our from here. There’s a little rope swing for the kids. Can see little fish in the water. Boat launch is small and steep but everyone seemed to be able to make it work. Lake’s great. Once in the main body of water there’s a small island to explore and then under the road bridge which gives view of rainier. Pleasant paddle even on a weekend. Boat traffic was present but not overly annoying.
Nice park but no parking. Residents seem to have the idea its all theirs.
Its a really nice place to go during summer, but watch your feet while you swim theres a lot of rocks
The good: Quiet, private place to hang out for a bit or launch a boat. I really liked this place, and everyone seemed to be having a really good time while being respectful and not acting crazy. The bad: If youre looking to launch a boat on a nice day, youll probably have to wait, unless you get there early. The ugly: The parking situation is terrible. Just a bunch of private spaces next to houses with no parking signs, and one road of public parking that fills up fast. Its best if you can do a drop-off of your equipment or boat, and then park somewhere in walking distance.
@zoebolognadancer and I check out diff lakes around the area and this was 1 of the best!! Not much parking but the water is warm and the people are friendly..
Boat Launch this summer actually seems pretty busy, a lot going on...be careful getting your boat going, through shallow rifts, and some marked stumps, since it is a Park owned by the city theirs lots of daily commuters just checking it out, and the aquatic life may be considerate.
Good fishing spot alot of boat traffic if its a nice day
Limited parking but lots of ripe blackberries.
Saw a Mama and lil baby duck swimming around.. was really cute!!
There is no parking. Unloading our canoe was the equivalent of changing a flat tire on the side of the road, as there were trucks using the single launch, so we were snugged up to the side of the road as much as possible and tossed the canoe into the grass as quickly as possible. We had to drive several blocks away from the water to find street parking, lugging our gear and a toddler.Finishing our trip was equally fun.The lake was surprisingly warm, though, and a nice paddle.
This park is nice, but its very skinny and small with no bench space or real recreation area. Theres the lake of course, but other than a boat launch and a few trees there isnt much at this place, its mostly just a grassy bank before a lake really.
Not a park, just a boat launch you have to block traffic to put your boat in
Beautiful hidden park
Too much police activity,ad nothing to do there. Come on Lakewood clean it up put in a nice boardwalk lets be proud of Lakewood.
It was nice, there were some people coming in off the water and they were very nice to my son.
Beautiful views
Went to go fishing but, no place to fish
Shameful that the city actually discourages use of this area that I cannot call a park. It is difficult to put in our kayaks from a turn out in the road. There is not adequet parking, restroom, fountain or even picnic table. How about grass for a blanket picnic. This is our 2nd largest and we think most beautiful lake and pretty much off limit. So dont insult our intelligence by calling this a park. You Do Not Want Us On This Lake So Shame on You City Of Lakewood
You got to get there early to get a parking spot. Water is low right now so be sure your prop is in the water just deep enough to push you out to the deeper water. Water is only about 48 degree so the bit is very slow to not at all.
Nice park
I love this park! GC89CA1 is here if youre in the know!
Small grassy area with water access and a small boat launch. The road is narrow and there is only limited street parking. Nice spot to watch the ducks, throw a line in or launch your boat, jets skis, or canoe.
No parking the trash can is over flowing its beautiful tho
Great place to relax, fish and and walk your dog.
Personally I dont consider this a park, but it is a long somewhat narrow grassy strip with a single boat launch. There is no parking structure or area, it is residential parking, so parking can be very hard to find, especially if you have trucks with trailers parking. As for picnicking in the grass.... prepare to have your blanket covered with duck/goose poo because its everywhere. We launch our kayaks here from time to time if we can find parking. I have seen people swimming and hanging out on floaties here. #LetsGuide #LocalGuides
Good park for the kids
Little bit dry
The only problem I see mostly vagrant homeless people utilizing it for a campground for a few nights and leave a hazdordes situation Stumps could be marked better other than that Shallow Lake nice for water skiing water sports people seem to be pleasant watch your wake!!!!
Good swimming in the lake, free access
Descent spot. Parking is a joke. I have had to turn around and go home twice because there was no opportunity to get the kayak out on the water.
Terrible parking
Good to smoke pot and chill if your over 22 and still half your teeth no its not spunaway
The water was really shallow so fishing was not very good
Clean and nice walking path
Not a lot of shoreline, but is well kept. Good for swimming mostly, but fishing is possible.
No parking. Boat launch, but no parking for that either. Public access to lake & a nice view of it. Mowed grass. No restroom.
Parking is limited and even worse if you are pulling a trailer and there is no docks
Park was ok. Wouldnt really call it that though. More like the side of the road? Also not 1 fish in sight in 7 hours of exploring the waters at the park?
Would give it a solid five stars if not for lack of parking! Grassy, shady spot to swim and/or launch your boat or kayak for FREE!
Nice little lake for the kids to cool off.
I have fun when i go there feed the ducks.
This is a nice lake to kayak. Parking is limited and there are no porta poties

Quiet little lake access spot
Ive caught alot of trout there. Ive also caught a 6 pound cat fish and a 5 pound smallmouth
Minimumal parking with very little water access from the shore.
A place to access the lake, kinda swampy
Cool hidden place
Beautiful!
People that are stupid and dont read signs saying do not feed any wildlife
Ok
No place to park
Boat launch is annoying
BOAT LAUNCH
BOAT LAUNCH ONLY
