I love riding my 18-speed mountain bike around the park

This park is absolutely beautiful. Just driving through the park is a great experience. The tall beautiful trees that line the road are stunning. Once in awhile I’ll use the tennis courts which there are plenty of and not too many people using them. Most of the time though I will visit this place because of the Ocean County Dog Park that is in here. It is basically the last stop down the road before the exit and has its own exit for dog park visitors. The park itself requires that you get a dog permit available from the county for $5/year. The space is large with a forest area and the rest is sand. It would be nice if there was some nice grass like the rest of the park but I understand that since it’s a dog park they are looking for low maintenance. One thing I simply don’t understand about this park is the ‘No Dog Toys’ allowed rule, which was made so other dogs aren’t jealous and avoids fights. So instead of using a tennis ball I use a stick from the ground. So far no other dog has been jealous of my dogs sticks.

The white pine trees are unique. The park has a lake for swimming and a play set called slide city.

Its a great place for disc golf. Have played a few times, just wish there was wood chips around some of the holes. Most of the approach shots near the pins hit the ground and bounce or roll to far away.

Awesome park. One of the last great, natural areas in that part of Ocean County.

Fun park and first time being here. It was kinda hard at first finding the starting hole and parking lot, but still fun if your into disc golf.

Large Park with many activities, beach, lake, golf, playground, hiking, biking and picnicking. Great enjoyment for all ages. Beautiful grounds, not wheelchair friendly, unfortunately. Plenty of parking. Clean bathroom facilities. BBQs available. Two nice playgrounds. Turtles in the lake. Great time was had by all.

I grew up in this beautiful park. I remember when you were aloud to swim in the lake as well, such great memories! With the help of the community it progressively keeps getting better! cant wait to see it in a few more years! Highly recommend visiting!

I felt very out of place and the park set up was very confusing. My goal was to play disc golf. with the help of a security guard I was able to find the course but they had no maps. The first nine holes were fairly easy to follow but then hole 10 was nowhere to be found. After a bit of searching I did find hole number 14 and continued playing from there

Now that Ive moved I definitely miss you OCP. Great little 3 hole chip and putt. Lots of room for Frisbee golf or a long walk. I wish the locals werent such slobs.

Great relaxing get away from all the hustle and bustle of cars, trucks, school buses. The parks has lakes hiking picnic area tennis, playground, off leash dog area + much more. Very clean!

Amazing and beautiful park

The beach area was very dirty and full of geese droppings. Couldnt walk by the water. It was not kept not mowed. Full of garbage. Play grounds were better.

Such a nice peaceful place with greenery all around and no hint of any pollution should it be smoke or noise. All facilities are found max 15 to 20 minutes drive away... Nice place to live a raise kids

Beautifully laid out, nice lakes and ball fields, and even disc golf. Good for strolls just enjoying the scenery. It would be even better if boating were allowed.

Need a few trash cans around disc golf course. Surprisingly no hand soap in park bathrooms. Bathroom toilets disgusting. Nice disc golf course layout.

Beautiful place for a walk or a day out with the family. Many recreational spots for the kids and places to fish. Dog parks and open feilds for all types of sports.

Has beautiful big evergreen trees Park does not allow dogs off-leash but they have a dog walking area that is excellent also you can play disc golf play areas for kids softball fields plain Open Fields Lakes BBQ area they have grills there also restrooms are available tennis courts and many other activities also all terrain walking biking Trail around the perimeter of the park about 6 miles there is a place where you can hit golf balls also putting greens both are free you can also sign your kids up for golf lessons also across the street is another Park you can ride your bikes and walk through that side too. A lot to do

My favorite park in Ocean County just because Im a resident of Lakewood. It has a lake, a dog park, tennis courts, golf and if youre into competive disc throwing! Also a great place to go for taking pictures especially during the twilight hour!

This has been a regular haunt for my family for several years. It is a beautiful, well maintained park that offers a number of activities. Grills and picnic area available with no need for a permit, walking/biking path, 3 playground areas, and a pretty sweet 18 hole Frisbee golf course, with much more!

Beautiful quiet park. The influx of Canadian Geese has made it difficult to enjoy. The lakes are more often than not infected with bacteria from the waste of the fowl.
