This park was so much fun and perfect for both my 5 year old and 3 year old. My dog even had a blast. It was clean and away from the street so no worries about cars. Love it 10/10 would go back again.

Pretty nice little park. Despite a crazy lady shouting for over an hour at her boyfriend for his lack of interest in her shouting for various reasons... Lol otherwise a decent spot with lots of playing space and grass . just needs some swings!!

Small but sufficient size. Mostly open field. Limited cover. Low numbers of civilian recreational disturbances. Four different strategicly placed escape routes and a nearby 24 hour convenient store make this a better than average park for your needs.

I love this park. Right along the west line bike path so its a great place for a pitstop. It is bordered by trees and a stream, and has a HUGE grass area. Lovely park except for the garish, multi-colored play set.

Simple park with a concrete walking path around the perimeter, large open green space in the middle & a small playground that stays reasonably clean. Dog owners do a pretty good job keeping their pets on a leash & picking up after them. Lately, Ive noticed more & more adults resting/relaxing by the shade tree thats just west of the playground, esp when someone else has already snagged the spot behind the maintenance shed. Always good to stay aware of your surroundings, but Ive never had anyone approach me or my kids for anything whenever we go to play. So far, weve had nothing but nice interactions with whoever we meet when we go to this park.

Very nice playground. It has been updated recently. It has really soft foam underneath all the play equipment. Has a large green grass field for running around and a large covered pavilion right next to the playground. Very well maintained. The only downside its that its kinda close to the bus line and there seems to be a lot of people that use the pathway and hang out on it. If you know what I mean. But we love this park its a wonderful place to take your kids.

Nice little park, unfortunately used as a camping area by the homeless and left trashed quite often.

Was out with my two year old grandson who desperately needed out of the car for a bit. And there was this lovely little playground. The light rail runs right by the park and he was fascinated the trains.

I love this park! It is close to my office and dog friendly. I walk my dog there every day. It has benches, a playground and horseshoe pits for games. It is spacious and well taken care of by Lakewood maintenance.

Great park located right next to the RTD station. A beautiful creek runs through the middle with a fun playground for children to play on. A smooth sidewalk track circles the perimeter for walking as well. Very nice place to walk my dog!

I love this local Lakewood park. But it would be awesome if it had a picnic table or two under the gazebo. Also proper restrooms for patrons of the park would be ideal.

Pretty cool like park hidden behind the light rail. I had no idea it was there. Very clean, quite. There was noticeable homeless around, which is fine, but nobody made me or my 3 year old uncomfortable and agoan, the entire area was clean

With homeless people setting up camp right next to the childrens play gym, I could not possibly recommend this park to anyone. Unless youre in need of a place to spend the night and not be bothered by the cops.

This is a family and dog friendly place. There is a playground and horse shoe pits for big people.

There is a playground area that is fairly standard, a storm shelter, a creek with flowing water, and a maintained open space grassy area. No restrooms, drinking fountain, benches, and an ordinance against alcohol consumption and/or present. The area is patrolled regularly. Family friendly and pets are allowed. A 7-11 is adjacent 1/2 block away at 14th and Carr Street.

Theres an obnoxious woman who is wheelchair bound that harasses my family, friends and I nearly every time we come. She accuses us of some type of park violation that thus far have been unfounded. We dont smoke, drink, nor do we live/camp here. She will stare and pull her phone out like we are not allowed to enjoy a public park with our dogs and is just generally a nuisance. Be ware~~~

There are no drug dealers in this park. I walk my dog here everyday at various times day and night and have never seen that kind of activity. Its not unusual for low income people to hang out at the picnic table, but they are not drug dealers. They recently removed the picnic table because some homeless people had basically moved in and were using it all hours of the day. Otherwise its an ok park. Nothing special.

The light rail fence makes access to this park very limited except only by foot. Park is notorious for drug dealers sitting at park bench near the kids playground. And there is ALWAYS homeless people living here year round. Recommend to AVOID!
